Upon walking into the restaurant we waited 15 minutes to be seated in a restaurant that was empty. The lady that was the hostess and our waitress asked us if we wanted a booth or to sit at the grill, I told her it was our first time there and wanted to try out the restaurant. She recommended the booth. Ok this was fine. She asked us before we were even seated what we wanted to drink. Again we had never been there and we havent even sat down yet so I told her we were not sure and we would look at the drink menu. She came back about 20 minutes later to get our drinks, by this time we also new what we wanted to eat. About 15 minutes later she brought out a supposedly salad that had brown lettuce and a few carrots on top with a terrible dressing and some nasty soup. She still hadnt brought our drinks. She brought them about 5 minutes later. I took a couple bites of my chicken and steak combo with steamed rice and sat the plate to the side. It was terrible, I could cube meat myself and cook without any spices and get the same thing. It was awful and the rice was mushy. I sat my dinner off to the side and about 30 minutes later the waitress ask me if I wanted a box and I said no I didnt like the food so on the bright side she took it off of my bill. While my friend was trying to be nice and force down his also terrible food, I accidently spilled my glass of Pepsi. I couldnt find the server and finally I seen her with her head down at the hostess counter, she happily brought me some paper towels to clean up the spill. As we sat another 20 minutes waiting on our bill we left. Terrible food and Terrible service.

Sad. You can tell this place is going out of business. My husband and I were the only people there when we walked in. The hostess was surprised to see us but nice. The hostess was also our waitress so you could tell they were down to a skeleton crew. The hostess/waitress was a bit slow. Not sure if she was trying to do too much by herself or the other staff was not helping her or maybe she is out of practice because of the lack of business. I have no idea. Our food was ok. Seemed like something I could have made at home. And something weird I noticed, when we were ordering the cook came out and gave us a stare-down. My thought was that we were bothering him. The restaurant really needs some new carpet. You could see where the mop for the hard floor gets the carpet wet. Advice for the owner! Always staff for a full house instead of barely open. Never try to save a buck and sacrifice quality. You cant afford bad reviews. Your restaurant is in a bad location and right now you have a bad reputation. You need to seriously change some things in your restaurant or its going to to be no longer.

The food was good,. The show was amazing is great to watch. The female hostess was horrible I mean the worst service I ever had. Id rather have a squirrel with no tail serve my drinks, salads etc. She was so rude to us took around 10 minutes to ask us what we wanted to drink and after we told here it was another 20 minutes to get them. Her attitude was the worst I have ever seen in a human in my life. The grinch was happier than she was. She seemed very angry and rushed us to order what we wanted even though the restaurant was slow. She never once came back to refill are drinks. I will never go there again as long as she is working. She has a tattoo on one of her wrist and a very angry look about her face which couldnt even be cleaned with oxi clean.

My boyfriend and I came on a Saturday afternoon at lunchtime for sushi and hibachi. We seated ourselves. The hostess/waitress then informed us that if we wanted sushi she would have to call the sushi guy to come in and it would take 5-10 minutes to get here. That left us with only hibachi as an option. The wait for our food was ridiculous. . If your business is half centered around sushi I think you should have someone there who can make it. Terrible experience. Badly managed. Dont waste your time or money (food not great either!!)

Very bad service! I came in and was seated at 5:40 and at the time of this review I am still waiting on chef. The time is now 6:25. The dinning area is a total mess and also found out only one chef is on duty. In another situation like this I would leave but this was mothers day and where my mother-in-law wanted to go. I am very disappointed. This will be the first and last time I will ever visit a Mikados. What a joke!

Very poor wait staff, and the sushi quality was subpar. When appetizers were ordered we were told that the kitchen was too busy and that we couldnt have them. Also when one person in our party commented to the waitress that the fish in her sushi tasted off the waitress had a poor attitude. I would definitely not recommend this place to anyone.

Best Japanese Food ever. Our server Robin was amazing. The food was fresh. Tasted great. The presentation was clean, simple and professional. We ordered the Octopus (Tako Su), California and Hawaii rolls, Soup, Edamame, Habachi Chicken and Salad. The portions were larger than expected. This restaurant should have a line out the door!

Well managed restaurant that was very clean. The food presentation showed quality and attention to detail. The cook was friendly, funny and was courteous throughout the dinner. This was a quality meal and for the price this place should be packed. Why would people go to a Red Lobster after this? Go to Mikatos!

I love this place! The staff is amazing and very nice and talkative! The experience is just the way you would want at a Japanese Steakhouse! You get great portions for the price and the cooks are the best! Definitely recommend it!
