My wife and I arrived with our 18 month old son for lunch. She walked up to the counter and informed the kid we would like to have lunch for 2 and a baby. He told her it would be a few minutes. My wife and I sat as we watched 4 other tables get seated with people that did not have reservations and arrived after us. I decided to inquire as to why we were being skipped. When I approached the counter and asked if we were going to be seated soon the little kid up there asked if I was another party. I told him no and he waved me off and turned away refusing to address me. That was rude. I persisted to speak with someone. Another kid was standing there so I asked him. He told me "oh, I didnt know you were All here". I told him we are a couple and arrived together. We has also been standing in front of the counter together for 35 minutes at this point. He told me we were next. After 2 more tables were seated in front of us I inquired again. Again I was told we were next and that he forgot us. Finally we were seated. Once seated, it was business as usual at this restaurant. We had a good time but they need to have an adult work up front. The kids are not up to the task.

As a VERY regular customer I was really surprised with the terrible service were receiving as I write this review. We booked on open table and were seated and then after a wait our entire table was moved. The new occupants were already eating by the time someone came back to us. 50 minutes later we are being served but the only apology was to explain that the other party got our table and we were moved because their party could fill it immediately. (Oh and we were offered another bowl of rice, not that it would be cooked anytime soon.) Unfortunately it seems most people only review something when they have a problem or a complaint and Im probably guilty of that too. I guess Im just disappointed... And hungry.

The good things are that my 14year liked it for her birthday and they make good martinis. Went for dinner on 12/28 with a reservation. The place was like a food factory. Bored table chefs with no enthusiasm. Food ingredients looked good but were loaded up with mounds of butter and so much salt it took 24 hours to rid the taste from my mouth. Very filling is about all I can say for the lobster, steak and chicken which was dried out completely after being fried to death. Our steamed rice was coagualted as if it had been mixed with Elmers glue. The salad was awful, chopped lettuce with soy baconbits and thousand island dressing. Is this how Japanese really eat? God save em if they do.

Credit Card Fraud - BEWARE - 2x Its Happened. My wife and I love Hibachi and this location has excellent food. We went a few months ago and a few days later the card we paid with had fraudulent charges on it. Didnt think much of it but we rarely use that card so it was odd. This last time I actually left my wallet on the table and had to come back the next day. EVERY CARD IN MY WALLET WAS CLONED! This is not acceptable. I have managed retail stores and when someone leaves their card or wallet we put it in the safe! My fault for leaving it sure but that doesnt mean you can steal my credit card numbers!!! Look having credit card fraud twice there is not a coincidence. STAY AWAY.

The food is AMAZING!!! Especially the fried rice, and the Egg Yolk Sauce looks weird but is Incredible! My Favorite place I go any chance I get. The dining experience is also one of a kind with the at times comedic chefs that prepare your meal right in front of you. It can be a bit crowded and I definitely suggest making a reservation on there website or youll be standing a while because there is not much seating for those waiting for a table, but all in all the food the staff the environment and also the prices make this my top choice for Dining in Dublin.

I have frequented this restaurant several times a year since 1998. I love the food so much that I often visited on my birthday. However, the customer service has been atrocious recently! In what may be my final visit, we waited over 1 hour 50 minutes and never received our hibachi meals. All but 1 couple at our table was very frustrated and asked to leave after already being served a salad and soup. The staff was extremely unapologetic and unhelpful. The manager did not visit our table or may any effort to retain our business. I am so disappointed.

Good dinner. Good chefs. Good sushi. I ordered the first saki on the menu which was nice and dry, and started with salmon caviar. The dinner includes the usual hibachi soup and salad, and then I had rare filet mignon and an extra cut of grilled calamari. The meal comes with steamed rice, or fried rice here is extra but almost everyone gets it. I am used to hibachi chefs frying the rice before the entrees, but this check did so afterwards, and it seemed to add some succulent flavors to the rice. All in all a great meal.

I had never been to a Hibachi grill before so my wife surprised me for my birthday and took me here. We had reservations, but didnt get seated until about 20 minutes later, which may have been our fault as one person did not show up on time and your whole party must be there to be seated. After that though, the food was great, our Hibachi Chef was friendly and entertaining. It was a little on the pricey side, I think about $75 in all for the two of us, but I wasnt disappointed. It was a fun and tasty experience.

The service is horrible. We waited 45 minutes for the chef to come to our table. Most of the people complained to the waiter but me and my boyfriend did not. When it was time for the bill she told everyone at the table but me and my boyfriend that she would take two dollars off the bill. So because we didnt complain we didnt get compensated for our wait but we waited the same amount of time as everyone else. She talked to everyone at the table but us which is very rude. I recommend going to the one at Polaris.

Been to Japanese steak houses all over the world including Japan(teppanyaki). This is my all-time favorite. Price is reasonable and food is always delicious. I never heard of "yum yum" sauce in Japan and so do not believe it is truly Japanese. Most Japanese steakhouses in Ohio are run by non-Japanese people. One exception to that was The Japanese Steakhouse in downtown Columbus. Dont know if that is still true. I love it also but in my experience the quantity of food was usually less than House of Japan.

The manager is a dragon. She shoves as many people at a tables as she can. We waited 20 minutes alone at table late in an almost empty restaurant and nobody came to even take our drinks. I complained and the manager called me a liar. We left, which I think is what she wanted. We have eaten here dozens of times. The food is good, price is reasonable and 90% of the Chiefs are great. Service had gotten worse and worse lately. I personally think the old lady needs to retire. Then I could give it more stars.
