Terrible service! My wife and I stopped to eat here and were seated immediately. The waitress brought us water, gave us hot towels to wash our hands, and took our order. We waited five minutes and the waitress refilled our water. However, this was the last time she stopped at our table. We waited an additional 10-15 minutes and she never came back again; not even to bring our sushi appetizer or the tea that I had ordered. We got up to leave the restaurant and began to walk out the door because we were hungry and wanted to go shopping before stores closed for the night. To add insult to injury, the hostess said "Thank you, come again!" on our way out the door! I will never return to this restaurant.

I only had the sushi, so i cant speak for the rest of the menu. but the sushi was horrible. Not a good selection to pick from. They drenched the rolls in spicy mayo which had a very strange taste to it, almost a mexican taste. rolls fell apart at the slightest touch. not a single part of any of the rolls i had tasted good. if you go here DO NOT get any sushi.

Im honestly not sure what to say about Ba Sho. Ive been there once and I liked the place, but Id really like to go back with someone who can better explain what Im about to order. My ignorance was no fault of the restaurant as they had a waiter who was able to describe the dishes very well. If Im not mistaken, this restaurant leans toward authentic Japanese cuisine.

This place has some weird hours, a very small dining area and youre pretty much sitting right next to other people when you eat. But the food is pretty good. It just makes me mad because I waited a long time to get into this place because of the weird window of opportunity to get in(hours). Great food though. One of the best japanese places in Columbus! >:|

Its VERY good! Delicious! You should go and order the sushi. I used to live in Japan, so I know good sushi when I find it. The restaurant is quiet. It may be awkward for Americans to eat here because it is quiet. It is a little expensive, so it is good for an occasional treat. (Written by my student - who loves it!)

One of the few sushi restaurants in Columbus where youll actually find Japanese diners and sushi chefs. I dont know why other reviewers had such bad experiences - it was recommended to me by a Japanese coworker and ive always found it to be spot on (though occasionally the service is slow if theyre busy)

This was the worst sushi ever. The fish taste old and of pore quality. The fish is more of bait quality then sushi quality. Dont eat here!

Ordered almost a dozen dishes! There is so much variety, and its fun to give them a try - especially the eel, sardines, and yellow tail!
