I ate there today together with my wife. We ordered two famous Middle-eastern dishes to test the flavor, Shawarma and Falafel. To my surprise the Shawarma tasted nothing like it should be: Lots of Cumin on the chicken, a cheap shot to get some flavor out possibly to hide the original chicken flavor for some reason... Anyway the seasoning was too wrong and felt like coming out of an Indian Cuisine rather than a Middle Eastern one. THE Falafel platter however was the worst I have ever eaten anywhere!! We were served, four/ five Ball like fried dough that I didnt recognize immediately, I sincerely thought I ordered the wrong plate, but I didn’t. Coming to taste, it felt more like fried bread as I bite into it, and definitely nothing like Falafel. Falafel is a mix of Fava beans and Chick peas grinded to a rough dough-like mixture and deep fried in oil at high temperatures!! You should not add flour in there; it simply should look greenish in color, crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, more flat in shape rather than spherical and definitely larger in size, at least double!!! Their Falafel came out spherical in shape, half the usual size, mild traces of Fava beans with no chick peas and lots of wheat... "All wrong! Now tackling portion size: Both plates offered 20% of what we ordered with 80% of mixed assorted Salads!! Salads are good for you, but should not constitute 80% of whats in your plate!! Summary: Food is not bad really but it is not whats on the menu!!

Jerusalem Grill is a Kosher Meat Restaurant, No Milk Meals! because Orthodox Jewish people dont eat milk and meat together, therefore pizza restaurants will serve milk meals. The meals are good and there servings are plenty for one person. There are a couple of problems, parking is hard to find and there are very few disabled parking spaces and no ramps as far as I know also the restrooms are in the basement and there are a lot of steps so if you are not able to do steps you my have a problem. We go there a lot and I have no problem getting in or out of restaurant. The people there take care of me meaning self serve like getting soda they will get it for me. I walk in they find us a table fast so I can sit down right away. I gave a rating of 4 do to the parking and restroom problems. I know anyone who tries this restaurant will injoy the nite out and have a good meal.

One time customer. Turkey burger - a skimpy patty served with a slice of tomato and a tiny piece of lettuce. Plus a few dill slices. The fries looked great but they were dry and not very crispy. Shawarma - ok, but it was supposed to be lamb, chicken & turkey, and the lamb pieces were few and far between (or gristly). The cabbage salad that came with it seemed a bit spoiled. And forget desert unless you want a cookie (they do have a popsicle/parve ice cream treat from a cooler). Decent food, but no presentation. They wiped down the table just before we sat down but left both the table and seat wet! Unimpressed but this is your only choice for a kosher meat restaurant in Cleveland besides another one that is VERY expensive. Im being generous with a 3/5 (average) rating.

When we arrived the store was full, we were tired and we thought we would have to wait a while. To our delight, instantly, were taken care of as if it were white gloved service! Greeted with a smile, seated right away, expedited ordering of food cuz they knew we were hungry! The service is unbelievable and food is absolutely delicious. My wife is extremely picky and she loved everything! The staff are so friendly, sweet and kept making sure we had everything we need. Ive been to my share of restaurants, and in all my experience I am delighted to say this one is the cream of the crop! Thank you so much for making Cleveland tasty and memorable. GO GIANTS!

Unfortunately I think the owner takes advantage of the fact that the orthodox jews in the area have few restauratns to enjoy. Or maybe he just doesnt know any better. The owner is Israeli, but most of his food is not very good. It either tastes like it came frozen or doesnt have much flavor. The only thing good here is the falafel, but even then sometimes he keeps it out too long and its not very good. It really is too bad because Israeli cuisine is quite good.

I have been with my family to this establishment 5 times now and loved each meal there. The specials change every day and each are delicious. It is great American fair made Kosher and is definitely NOT overpriced when it come to Kosher food. The burgers, shnitzel, spicy fries, and chicken wings are especially good. Do not expect quick or efficient service, but the help is extremely nice and it has a very friendly atmosphere!

As a local community member- I have eaten here many times. Service is excellent ... food? The middle eastern is really good. Think felafel and shwarma. The specials are also usually pretty good. The owner is very customer service oriented and bends over backwards to make sure everyone leaves a satisfied customer. Not perfect, but a very good place to eat

Ive been here several times and the service, portions, and flavors were great. The hummus is excellent, and the shawarma has always been very good. I think its worth a try. Support your extended Jewish family! If you dont like it tell them why - Im sure they will try to do better.

I cant believe it took me so long to check out the Grill. I had a hamburger with grilled mushrooms and onions. It was delicious. I had the onion rings, too, and they werent greasy, they were just right. If you only eat at Kosher restaurants, then this is the place to go.

The $4.99 Monday special for a felafel and a drink is the best kosher bargain in town. Shnitzel is very good as well. Wish the Chinese would be better though, very tough to find good kosher chinese in Cleveland.

Good food and generous portions. I just wish they would bring back the Chinese food menu before they reduced it to four dishes.
