I used to eat lunch at Virtues once or twice a week for months. The menu change is very disappointing. Some of the dishes are still on the menu, but their price has gone up (not to mention soup OR a salad, rather than both now). It was already pretty expensive. But what kind of restaurant is so good that its worth paying more for something that was already over priced in this failing economy?-Not Virtues. It seems shady and greedy. Also, since the menu change they have not updated their menu online. We called to order to go, and had to listen to the menu from a very impatient, rude hostess over the phone. Called back and spoke to someone much friendlier, but she couldnt even pronounce what was on the menu! Then I was put on hold to wait for a total for the order for over 10 minutes, and was obviously forgotten. I didnt pickup the order, because if they forgot the customer on the phone, how was I to know if they remembered to put the order in? I didnt want to mess with it, so I just called in a much more reasonably priced meal from Moes in Cuyahoga Falls. They have great food and service. Prices are great at lunch. I recommend the calamari appetizer. But really...To hell with virtues. That place sucks now.

It was my boyfriends birthday and I wanted to take him somewhere different. I decided on VIRTUES cause from the menu on there website and there selection I was really excited. We arrived at the restaurant and the ONLY down side to it is its....well put together but cuts its self short with the tables only! We sat down and felt a little disappointed at the table setting but figured we would still try it out! First we got the tomato bail bisque...It was WONDEFUL....side salad was yummy too. We both got the Surf N Turf and the Filet were the best I have ever had. The lobster was also good. Butter didnt taste like real butter but it still did the justice! Potatoes were REAL! and the asparagus was Yummy! Everything there was really good. I WAS VERY IMPRESSED! We left will full tummy and smiles! It kinda catches you off guard but def try it out. The place was VERY CLEAN and the staff was very friendly. The waitress also knew what the suggestions were as if she cared! I recommend anyone to go there...The prices were reasonable for the QUALITY of food...AND THE CRAB CAKES WERE TO DIE FOR!!!! Hope you check it out I am glad I did!

Catching up on all the places from the last month or so, and must mention this one... YES, I am actually recommending you go to a HOSPITAL (its right under the ICU) for dinner - really! Its that good, and whens the last time you said this in a conversation " I was a the hospital and had a great meal." Well worth it for the food - and for the ability to make a comment like that - priceless... On top of this, the chef is health conscious - so I dont have to be (I like that)... If your in Akron - stop by the hospital for a great lunch or dinner (another one you dont say too often)...

I was pleasantly surprised Summa while visiting a loved family member who was a patient. We needed a break and found out that Summa offered a sit down lunch experience totally different than a hospital cafeteria. We went to Virtues and were extremely lucky to have Uly as our waitress. She was fun, friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. We received great service, she was knowledgeable, recommended great items and we had a fantastic lunch. Thanks Uly!!!! You brought a little joy into our difficult circumstances. Kudos to Virtues and Uly. We will be back just to visit her!

Well, maybe not a sonnet! The staff is a joy to meet! The servers are beyond exceptional! Our filet/lobster combo was drop dead fabulous! The potato looked like a football but tasted infinitely better. The salad was crisp and a perfect start. The shrimp were fantastic. These folks treat us like family every time. What an extraordinary place!

The atmosphere here is quite nice, and some of the menu items are ambitious. The roasted eggplant soup, for example, is truly outstanding. But, the prices are too high for the overall quality, and 3/4 of my takeout orders have had missing items or cooking issues.

Poor communication, they lost my husband, no one seemed to know where be was Even an hour after he was in their systsm, he was transfered from summa Barberton I wish he would have stayed there, it was so much better. Summa Akron didnt know what was going on.

Food is excellent. The only downside is you are in a hospital and the clientele and wait staff reflect that at times. My only disappointment was the red-blend wine -- extremely flat, no finish. Should have ordered the Mondavi.

I dont care if you dislike eggplants, you still MUST try the roasted eggplant soup! All the food is amazing, the menu is well crafted, the selection leans to the healthy side but doesnt get too crazy.

It has the great food of a high quality restaurant just not the necessary ambience with it. You are basically eating in a (upscale) hospital cafeteria.
