I have dined in a few times and have no complaints, everything went great. I decided to call in for carry out. To be blunt, it sucked. When I walked in I stood at the counter for about 12mins without being acknowledged. The ladies were right there, on the other side of the counter and I didnt get a "we will be right with you" or a "hello, give us a few minutes" . Nothing. I finally get my food which took about 30mins from the time I called it in until I received it. I get home and the poultry gravy on the open-faced turkey dinner I ordered looked like nacho cheese but thicker. It was terrible. I called in, drove back down and ordered a different dinner. When I get home, I realized they forgot the biscuits. Even though I wasnt acknowledged for 10mins standing at the counter and it took way to long for my order, the lady that took care of me was great! She seemed to be having a rough day which we all have those. She made the experience a better just because she was super pleasant and down to earth. She made the difference on me not ordering from them again and me being a repeat customer and giving them another chance.

If youre looking for average food and terrible service the bluebird is the place for you! We sat right next to the soda machine hoping it would be easy and convenient for our slow shuffling waitress to at least keep our drinks full however it took 20 minutes after being seated to put our drink order in. Obviously we put in our food order also. After watching our waitress shuffle up and down the aisle for 5 mins our drinks were finally delivered by a different waitress from another section who noticed our frustrated looks and empty table. It was the only drink I would receive the entire meal. My food finally arrived I ate it at a leisurely pace after finishing my burrito and two pancakes the rest of the food arrived for the other two people. Well half of it arrived they forgot an order of toast and coffee but not before bringing the wrong food for another table. It was these and many other little issues that led to a terrible first experience

For the second time the five of us dined here and the customer service was awful. We were treated badly by the assistant manager. My co worker ordered food and was told upon the arrival of our food that what she ordered was not on the menu. This is the second time this has happened. She watched us eat while her food was being prepared. The manager decided that 20% off was sufficient. And stated that maybe she should have her daddy ot her friends pay her bill. Good ole customer service. Blue Bird if we wanted a free meal we will gladly patronize a classier place. Thankfully I was working and could not say what I wanted to say to the rude assistant manager. Definitely will not return....but the food was good and the waitress was nice.

This place is just the worst. Bacon comes out looking like Volcanic ash, Chicken hoagies look like chicken sliders and taste like crispy play dough. The customer service here will literally make you want to punch someone in the face. I was even once told that they were open but they do not serve food on fridays..... If anyone has starred this place more that 1 star and says something good they are simply just being paid to do so. Everyone i meet who goes here tells me to never order from this place. Take this place off maps to save everyone the trouble. Example of the igneous rock shard they call bacon I tried to upload but they wont let me. Hopefully you guys can see so you dont waste your time.

Awful service...two other tables received drinks before us. Had to pull a different waitress aside to get them. Food was brought out to our table at completely different times. One of our party members was able to eat his whole meal before the rest of us got our food. Drinks remained empty for most of the meal. Wife never got her toast until we asked the waitress two times for it. Owner made fun of my friends weight when I talked to them about the terrible service. Food was alright but not that great. Overall, terrible service and bland food. Beware.

I have had lunch from them three times now. Each time a new problem arises. Cold burgers to match the girls personality on the other end of the phone, a chicken sandwich where I actually questioned if it was a chicken breast or a chicken nugget in between the buns. I mean the tomato was actually bigger than the chicken breast. Overall I would never recommend this place. Save your money and time. Unfortunately I have to give them one star to post this, Im willing to suck up my pride to save you guys money.

I laughed when I saw the comment about bad service because I never received it here, until this past Sunday. The waitress greeted us as soon as we got there, got our coffee and took our order. That would be the last time we saw her at our table until my wife stopped her to get more coffee, 25 minutes later. People that arrived after us started getting their food it was time to leave 45 minutes after we walk through the door. The food that was being served looked great.

Got one glass of water the entire time I was at the restaurant. Was never brought silverware for our third person dining with us. Food was the definition of mediocre(it was edible, thats the best I can say about it) each person got their food at different times. They were nice, but the service was one of the worst Ive ever experienced. If you go dont expect speed or quality of food.

Came here after not being acknowledged at Annad. Came in and made eye contact with the man behind the counter, Sat there for a good 10 minutes, and nobody came over. Restaurant was still open but seemed deserted! We could hear someone in the kitchen and made several attempts to get their attention but gave up and went elsewhere. First and last time there.

Bluebird feels like a gem of a family owned, biscuit and gravy, comfort food, breakfast lunch & dinner diner. This is America from a play by William Inge or something like it nearly unchanged in decades. Bluebird has has opened early and closed early for years, but they are experimenting with late night on weekends. It is a treasure.

We came in as soon as they opened and ordered country fried steak breakfasts. The eggs were perfectly cooked and the delicious food was out quickly. We enjoyed every minute and the service was excellent. I can see why they get busy later in the day.

The decor is pretty old and bare. Not the cleanest. The burger was just a step above McDonalds but the produce was fresh and tastey. Whatever the oil they are frying the French fries and onion straws in is old. Over all... eh...

When we entered the restaurant, it was like a quaint blast from the past. They have table side jukeboxes that have a wide range of songs. We had the chicken fried chicken, and it was wonderful. Very juicy and crispy.

I have been going to the Blue Bird for many years. It is downhome cookin and friendly. A woman alone feels perfectly fine in the bird. Biscuits and gravy Pinto beans and cornbread. OH, Yea
