Ive given this place more than once to redeem its self. I had a terrible experience for breakfast 3 weeks ago. It took 45 minutes to get our food and our waitress let our drinks run out and rarely came to the table to see if we needed anything. I just ordered the special today, cabbage rolls. I couldnt even finish the first roll because it was over powered by pepper. Cabbage rolls are my favorite, I usually devour them but these were unacceptable. The cook should have to taste his food before serving it to anyone. I will continue to go to Angies firehouse for the best cabbage rolls in town. I highly doubt I will ever return to Starlight.

I rarely leave reviews. But this food is terrible. The worst breakfast I have ever had. The bacon had no taste at all. I actually went and bought bacon and eggs when I left here because I couldnt eat more than a few bites of what they call food. How it stays open or gets good reviews is beyond me.

On our first trip our waitress was great as was our food. My wife really liked her cabbage roll and stuffed pepper and I thought my burger was quite good. Our second trip was the exact opposite. The service was poor and the food was mediocre. I guess its hit and miss here.

This place has great food with an inexpensive costs!! Its changed its name to The Patriot Diner!!! Ive eaten there many times with excellent service and food and didnt wait long for service or the food!! Also had it delivered same thing excellent food!!!

Under new management the two women in front were terribly rude.. possibly predgidous as my boyfriend is black.. no customer service. No smile and they changed the pancakes which I used to love. Pancakes are horrible now. Will never be back.

This is one of the last REAL diners in Dayton that I would give a 5 out of 5! Friendly staff, great prices & a diverse menu of large portioned home-cooked style meals :) I would recommend Starlite to anyone
