Went here for lunch and it was great. The chips were crisp and fresh. Salsa was delicious. Had a chimmicanga, which was good. Good rice and beans. Seemed like a very clean place. The table is beautiful wood with a nice finish - has a very clean feel. My service was adequete. Checked on me several times. Overall this is one of the better places in the area for lunch - Food came out quick, tasted pleasant, and was fair in price - 6.00 for a chimmicanga lunch with chips and salasa, rice and beans, thats a pretty good deal. I disagree that they will be out of business within a year; I think its got a tough location to fine but is a nice place to get Mexican food.

This place sucked. It forced me to put a star to comment. Poor service, waited 9 minutes for the server to approach us and never introduced her self by name. Visited our table 2 times and we had to look for her in the back of the house three times. The salsa with the chips had to of come out of a can and tasted like ketchup. The burritos were dry and had no cheese or flavor. The drinks had very little to no alcohol. I will stick to the great restaurants like El Rincon and Mi Casa. This place will be closed within a year, unless the people who were eating there believe that Taco Bell is authentic Mexican, also.

If this is good local Mexican food then I am sooo sorry for you poor souls. The beef in my combo plate was flavorless...it tasted like boiled hamburger. The relleno was a slice of bell pepper in some cheese goo. The only difference between my supposed burrito and the alledged tamale was the canned sauce, otherwise they were identical...they arent supposed to be. Top notch slice of tomato though. On top of that the staff I dealt with were indifferent and my waiter ignored me and left me writing for the check for 15 min. If you are a local..travel. If you are a traveler like me...dont bother with this joint.

I love this place!!! I go here all the time, service is fast, staff is super friendly, always clean, very nice restrooms! They have televisions at the bar area, roomy indoor seating areas, outdoor seating for those who prefer it with a nice view, very nicely decorated inside, plenty of parking! Margaritas are delicious as is the food!! You can get a 4 platter dinner for $10.00 which I always get, it lasts me 3 meals!! Much better then El Rincon which I use to love, Mi Casa and Mariachi Locos!!! 2 Thumbs up, keep up the good work, you have a customer for life!!

I eat here once a week because the food is great, staff is attentive, and atmosphere is the cleanest Ive ever seen! The salsa is consistent every time I go--not ruiny or too thick--always the PERFECT consistency. The chips are always crisp and the food is hot and tastes fresh! The menu prices are cheaper than other Mexican restaurants in town and the staff doesnt have a chip on their shoulder like they are the only place in town. You will not regret your visit to El Fogon!

The food is very good! However, they are lacking in customer service. We place orders to go for lunch at El Fogon alot and it seems like we run into the same problem each time. They are rude on the phone and rude when you go to pick up the food. It seems like our orders are an inconvenience to them. Yes, we place about 6 separate orders at a time but a customer should still be treated with some respect!

If you want fast, delicious Americanized Mexican food, this is the place. They have an okay drink selection and good pricing. You will get your meals for the whole table in less than 5 minutes sometimes. They have good lunch specials too, so this is a great fast, cheap place to go for lunch if you are in a hurry to get back to work. The staff is always pleasant and generous with the chips and salsa.

The food is great and the margaritas are decent, although a little overpriced. $4.75 for a small is a bit crazy for this area, especially when you can get their jumbo ($7.50) size else where in Akron for $3.75. Theres not even any lime in the lime margarita, just lime flavor. However the food is good and the service is fast.

Fast, friendly service with no disappointments in food, price, or service. It was 6:30pm and two of us were out of there in half an hour. Salsa was just spicy enough to not sting the mouth. Chips were very fresh. Food presentation was beautiful. We plan on making this a regular stop when dining out!

This is the beat Mexican restaurant in the area. The service is always excellent. The food portions are more than enough. And the flavors are incredible. The prices are very reasonable, two meals for under $20.a pitcher of Margaritas $18. I would recommend WI out reservations.

Excellent! We go here once a week. Great food, great fast service and delicious giant punch bowl sized margaritas! Very clean as well. Nice bar area with a TV too. So much better than local watering holes such as El Rincon or Mi casa, that food is miserable.

We are regulars here. Its actually my 4 year old favorite place to eat. The fajitas are my favorite and I love that they put generous portion of cheese on their tacos. The price is also fantastic. My family of 5 eats for around 25.00.
