Im updating my review: This place is really good and genuine. After eating here nearly every week for about a year Im editing my review. This place is great. We never had any issues and the servers are always friendly. When you sit down they bring you chips and salsa, which is delicious. Their margaritas are very good and 2 for 1 before 7PM (I think thats the cutoff). Im a creature of habit and usually get the Tacos Delicioso (sp), Chile Ranchero, and some margaritas. The tacos are similar to what some people consider street tacos, but I call them delicious. I always have leftovers. Heres my review from the first time I went (2 years ago): I sat in the bar area and the service was excellent. I ordered the number 7 which comes with an enchilada and a chile relleno. I ordered a carne asada taco on the side. The chile relleno is slightly different than what I expected. What Los Loros serves as "chile relleno" is a mixture of cheese and ground beef in a green chile and then fried. Im used to just getting the same, but without the meat when Ive ordered chile rellenos from other places. It was very good as were the enchilada and the carne asada tacos. I think it was one of the owners who told me that I need to order the chile ranchero if I want what I believe to be a chile relleno. All that aside, I will go back because the food was really good and the price was great as was the service.

Every time I come here I am absolutely pleased. Their staff is awesome, its always the same folks and theyre super attentive and friendly as well. The food is delicious. The seafood chimichagas divine, the salsa is amazing every time (consistency is hard to do) their guac is just as tasty! They have this to die for chorizo queso i tried it once and now im addicted, I have to order it every time. Their margaritas are cheap, tasty, and get the job done ;) For dessert theyve got a few options but my fave is their flan. Mmmm that flan is seriously good. Also, they have this lil freezer on the way out with these amazing homemade ice cream pops, try the berry and cheese.. If youre looking for a great meal this is it yall.

What a great restaurant. The parking is plentiful, the dining area is well-lit and clean, the staff are friendly and prompt, and best of all the food is fantastic. The Jumbo Margarita is delicious and a bargain. The Shrimp Tacos are delicious, and the sauce it comes with is absolutely amazing and addictive. The Tostadas are delicious and enormous! Ive never seen them so large and over-flowing. Other members of our group had chimicangas and said they, too, were delicious. This was our first time, but we will now be regulars. We had a coupon and I almost felt guilty using it!

How hard is it to understand the difference between crispy tacos and soft tacos? Ive given so many chances to this place over the years, but no more. While the food isnt terrible, the service is atrocious. I dont think theyve ever gotten an order correct completely right once in the past year. Slow and incompetent isnt a great recipe, but Im sure theyll keep providing terrible service for years to come. Update: I called to explain and they hung up on me for telling them essentially what I wrote above. 0 stars

My wife & I went here for a mid week date. Some friends told us of this restaurant & boy were they right. The food was amazing & so authentic. I decided to get my usual pick of Carne Asada wherever I got & i was not let down. The meal was superb. The drinks were amazing (as well as the adult beverages.) Prices for meal & drinks alike are very reasonable. I loved the atmosphere as well.

We had dinner there this evening. Not that great. The waiter was nice. The margarita was okay. The food was okay. The restaurant is a bit run down. Over all it is not the best Mexican food that we have eaten. Condiment bottles were crusty. They need to clean the bottles and not just fill them. The draft beer was not two for one and the waiter did not inform us of that.

Been coming here for almost 17 years, it feels like family...from Sebastian, the owner, to the busboys, everyone treats you great...our daughter will be 16 in October and they have seen her grow up...the service is great and the food is authentic Mexican, not texmex, etc...havent have a dish that I didnt like...I recommend this place to everyone that can hear me

Sitting in their dining room right now actually! We have been waiting 50+ minutes for our food to come out. Our server has been slow on everything, has not let us know our food will be up shortly etc. We have been here before and the food was great, but I dont think I should have to wait this long for 2 dinners and cheese quesadilla.

Service is extremely slow, spent 2 hours here... waited almost 20min before drinks, another 20 before our order was taken, then waited 45 minutes for our food... margaritas are horrible! Food is mediocre. Would not recommend this place at all... waited for the check for almost 30 minutes after we were done eating

My husband and I have been coming to this restaurant for around 12 years. The food is always excellent as well as the customer service. The staff is so nice it feels like being around friends. We will continue to come here with our kids for years to come! You have to try their shrimp cocktail and the fajitas!!

My family and I absolutely love this restaurant!!! We use to go to LA nop but this restaurants service and quality of food is 1000 times better at a lower price!!! I highly recommend trying it out for yourself! Also, the chicken soup is ridiculously tasty, after you taste it once youll crave it over and over!

Cant say enough.. The service, the Margaritas, the food, the music, the vibe, the location, the cleanliness, the choices, were a great welcome to the area. The appetizer was scrumptious, been and cheese dip, the Pollo Jalisco..OMG.. Ill be coming here for as long as whoever is running it stays!!

A lot quieter than LaNop. So its a better atmosphere if you actually want to have a conversation. The chips were really oily but the salsa was great. Typical mexican specials but the enchilada sauce was different. Im indifferent about it. Not bad, but not fantastic. Comfortable atmosphere.

tasty food very reasonably priced! On your birthday you get to wear a big sombrero (for pics) and you get a free (yummy ) flan. Also, check out their chicken soup if you feel like you are getting a cold--very comforting and delicioso. The staff are great. Very warm and comfortable atmosphere.

Service is almost always great and they have delicious sweet tea which is not exactly Mexican but goes great with my tacos. Not the best Mexican food in town but its convenient and always has the right combination of having some tables filled and open tables ready to go.

A staple in the community. I honestly havent been that often. (we are not the going out to eat all time kind of family) but when we dooo and the mood is for authentic Mexican food...THIS IS THE SPOT! Now that Im talking about it...think well be eating there tonight. Lol
