THIS PLACE IS DISGUSTING!!! ALL THE FOOD STAYS IN THEIR BUCKETS FOR OVER 2 HOURS AND IT GETS SO HARD AND NASTY! I TRIED THEIR MEATS AND ITS LIKE ROCKS! YOU CANNOT EVEN BITE THROUGH IT BECAUSE THEY NEVER CHANGE THE FOOD IF IT WAS OUT FOR MORE THAN 30 MINUTES. THEY CHANGE IT ONLY IF ITS ALL EATEN/EMPTY, SO IF THERE IS EVEN A FEW PIECES LEFT THEY HAVE IT OUT THERE FOR EVER! DISGUSTING! WORST PLACE TO EAT!!!! SERVICE IS SO AWFUL. THE SERVERS WOLD WALK BY YOUR TABLE, SEE THAT YOUR DRINKS ARE EMPTY, AND STILL NEVER REFILL UNLESS YOU ASK THEM AT LEAST 5 TIMES TO PLEASE REFILL. THIS PLACE HAS A LOT OF VARIETIES OF FOODS BUT BECAUSE THE FOOD LAYS THERE AND BECOMES OLD AND JUST DISGUSTING TO EAT, I NEVER WANT TO GO THERE AGAIN. WORST PLACE EVER!!!! I HOPE THAT THE SERVERS WILL START DOING THEIR JOBS AND WATCH PEOPLES DRINK AND REFILL THEM, NOT JUST TAKE EMPTY PLATES AWAY! AND THE PEOPLE DEALING WITH FOOD HAVE TO BRING FRESH FOOD OUT SOONER NOT WAIT 2 HOURS OR MORE AND NOT WAIT UNTIL ITS EMPTY AND NASTY AND HARD. GROSS!!!!!!!

Went in to eat with the family one night. Nice place, however; I was not hungry on this particular night. I went in with the kids and the husband whom was going to purchase buffets and eat. I ordered something to drink as I sat at the table with them. About 5 minutes or so into our dining experience, I looked around the room as myself and the family engaged into conversation. I just so happened to look at some plants across from my table and saw a set of slanted eyes gazing at me. I could not believe that they were watching me to see if I was going to eat a morsel of food. I would hate to think what wouldve happen if I did happen to taste a piece of food. I felt very violated and not trusted on this particular visit. Every time I would look over in that direction, those same eyes were fixed on me. We all were looking and the lady never did take her eyes off of me. I felt very violated and not trusted............

Having grown up in New England and a stones throw away from NYC, I lived off some great Chinese food. Traveling ever since, I always keep my eyes peeled for a Chinese Buffet that comes anywhere close. Hibachi Grill is about as good as it gets. My ONLY gripe about the restaurant is that most of the sushi was a bit pineapple-heavy. Other than that, all of the food was hot, not dried out, flavorful, and a selection like Ive never seen in any Chinese buffet. The dumplings and crab rangoon were cooked to perfection, the chicken was fantastic - there was nothing out there that I tried and didnt like. The wait staff was also very friendly, and was nearly brought to tears after we left her a nice tip when the group of hoodlums next to us dined and dashed. At $9.25 for an adult dinner on a Saturday night, youll be hard pressed to find a better value in Chinese Buffets anywhere in the Carolinas.

First off the Staff may be a little off sometimes, but dont take it to heart due to some of the customers Ive seen there have ate for 3-4 hours and didnt tip at all and gave them crap the whole time. But beyond that, The food is the freshest I have ever had from a buffet. The sushi isnt that great, but you should never expect sushi from ANYWHERE that isnt a dedicated sushi place. The 5 stars comes from the buffet and the Hibachi. The Hibachi grill is amazing, I could go just for that. The price alone pays off with the hibachi grill alone. They have excellent quality control, refresh the food at just the right time so you never get anything old. Beyond that they have something for everyone. Oh, one last thing, the yeast rolls are completely hollow. lol.

Let me tell you, I am the self-proclaimed buffet king (in many states). Buffets are the de facto when it comes to bang for the buck. Anyways, Hibachi Buffet & Grill, what can I say, one of the best buffets Ive been to. Must try the grill section in the back, choose your meats and veggies and have it grilled in either Hibachi, Teriyaki, or Ginger and Garlic style. The buffet selections were very tasty including spicy salted calamari and shrimp w/ shell. The sushi was great the day I was there (esp. the unagi and california rolls, no tempura however). For $9/adult $6/kids (dinner price, mind you), this place is steal! I wish I had went there sooner, so that I could come back until I had grilled beef up the to the eyeballs, and then some.

Went to this buffet for the first time and will never go back. Food was mediocre at best and the waitress attending to our table as we began to talk and socialize the waitress hovered over us making us feel very uncomfortable to a point of annoyance making it a point to make sure we pay "NOW" not on our way out like every buffet place in Charlotte. At this point our party felt like we were being rushed hence (ie. NO TIP) Then while some had to pay at the table those of color, others were allowed to pay at the desk on the way out (caucasian). Well at the end of the day, this waitress killed her own tip. Upon questioning the manager he was just as ignorant. I do not recommend this buffet to my worst enemy.

The food is very good. I went for my birthday dinner and the food was great. However the service is awful! We had to go find workers to get refills. The only time they did come over was when we was about to leave and Im pretty sure that was to see if we was going to pay.I went back to eat at this location with a friend whom never showed. When I told one of the workers that I wasnt going to eat and that I needed to use the bathroom before I left she went off on me. Basically telling me to hurry up and leave. dont go near the food and dont eat. She watched me the whole time I never felt so untrusted in my life I felt like a felon. These people are very rude and only care about getting your money.

Went on a Sunday night. The place was packed and people were everywhere. Server was courteous and attentive. Lots of food choices, all delicious and would definitely recommend. There were little kids everywhere and some running that got me really annoyed. Theres a reason they post signs on the walls telling parents to watch their kids. If you cant keep your eyes on children, please dont take them iut to eat. This is why and how accidents happen as I almost walked into a kid running with his plate of food. Anyways, sushi was good and only thing I was sad about was not getting to try everything I wanted as I had already gotten full. Would definitely visit again.

The Best Thing About this place is that lunch is 6.95, and if you dont get unhealthy soda, you can use the water to clear your palate so you can actually taste the food you are eating, just like you use pickled ginger to clear your palate when you eat sushi. the selection is great, they have american food for the FAT picky american kids, and another good reason to eat here is that the service is sub-par so you dont really have to tip keeping the option of having a buffet for only 7$ if you compare this place to lets say, cookout, cookout is 4.64 for a tray, would you pay an extra 2.36 for seafood, sushi, steak, and ribs all you can eat?
