Okay, I hated it 6 months ago and I hate it even more now. Wasnt my choice for lunch, but my sister wanted to go. Id have to say the salad bar looked way better this go around, opposed to my last visit. I mean, at least the lettuce was green. But everything else was so bad! Way over cooked! Except the rolls...they were under cooked. Thats fine cuz, you know, I did try to warn them. We are waiting my my to-go-cup when my sister suddenly gets up to run to the restroom. Yes, you guessed it, she got sick. I left her to her business and went to the car (I have a weak stomach, so I had to get futha!) Oh, did I mention my nephew was there? We are sitting in the car and suddenly he jumps out and he is starts getting sick. Wow! Really! Im so glad I stuck to the salad (but not for long)! My sister comes out and says she told our waitress that she got sick (not realizing her son was also sick outside). The waitress went to tell the manager, but he would not come out and speak to my sister. Instead he sent a lady out with a HALF OFF NEXT VISIT card along with the words "Well, no one else got sick so...". He then proceeds to come out of his hiding hole and walked right past my sister (judging her, no doubt, thinking she just wants a free meal!). No! We dont want the money! We dont want your half off card! We wanted to just enjoy our lunch! Not only did we NOT get that, we did NOT get decent customer service. Sad! Really sad. You need to up your game Mr. Manager Sir! And take notice to your customers when they are trying to warn you that the food is rotten. Yes, rotten. Go make yourself some banana pudding and tell me what color it is!!!! Please by all means try the chicken. Yummy!!! Not so much!!! I hope you have a pleasant rest of your day because we sure didnt!!! We are ALL now sick!!!!!!!! Thank you!! Thank you very much!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I will NEVER EVER attend this restaurant again . My husband and I went here tonight for the very first time and it was horrific. When we got there the guy who was fixing our drinks sneezed on the glass that he was putting our drink in and my husband and I gave each other the look and than I ask him to switch the glasses and he said, oh sure. We got our food and our waitor was very pleasant, his name was Israel. We were sitting at the table enjoying our meal when we noticed flies in our food and on our table. I called the waitor over and he killed the flies on the table and apologized and than stared at us. After abt 10 sec he asked if we want to speak with a manager and I told him yes. The manager took over 8 min to come over, the restaurant was not pack what so ever. Maybe abt 10 customers, and there were two managers on duty. When he came over his words were, "Whats the problem?" I than told him what happened and he said, "Oh okay" and than gave me a half off ticket for my next trip there. He than took out his blacck berry and started what looked to be texting while I was talking with him about the matter. He never apologized to my husband and I for what happened. It seemed as if the matter did not phase his what so ever. I do plan to call the health department tomorrow. This particular restaurant is blasphemous again the founder of Golden Corral.

If I had seen when I walked in what I had seen after I ate I would have turned around and left. The food was good. The waitress was nice. I overlooked the fact that one of the forks still had crude on it because that happens sometimes even in clean places. After I was finished eating I went to the bathroom. On my way I saw 2 roaches crawling up the wall. When I got to the bathroom it was filthy and there was no toilet paper in the stall I used ( the only one I found without something on the seat). Even the sinks were trashed with soap and stuff. I talked to a manger , think she was just a shift leader. She was apologetic but there was nothing she could do after we ate. She said they dont have a roach problem "per se" but one or two could get in by people coming in and out. I asked what the sanitation grade was and she said a B. I have worked in restaurants before and you have to be pretty nasty to get a B. Guess I will be checking the sanitation grade before eating out from now on.

WHAT I DISLIKE ABOUT THIS GOLDEN CORRAL,IBUFFET PRICE WAS $15 PER PERSON,I WENT TO GET A PLATE AND SAW A ROACH WHERE THERE PLATES,FORKS,SPOONS AND KNIFES WERE STOCK, SOME OF THE FOOD WASNT EVEN FRESHLY COOK, MY FRIEND ASK THEM TO HURRY UP HER PANCAKES WHICH THEY SHOULDVE HAVE HER FRESH PANCAKES AND THEY TASTED RUBBERY AND TO TOP IT OF AS ME BEING A FIRST TIME GRANDMA THIS SO CALL MANAGER UPSETTED THE MOTHER 2 BE OF MY GRANDCHILD CAUSING THE AMBULANCE TO COME AND RUSH HER TO THE HOSPITAL BUT IN CONCLUSION ALL IMMA SAY IS SHE BETTER WAS LUCKY NOTHING MAJOR HAPPEN BECAUSE WHEN SHE SAW MY FACE AGAIN WOULDVE BEEN IN A COURTROOM CAUSE I WILL NOT RETURN TO THAT GOLDEN CORRAL ANYMORE...

Absolutely ridiculous...I go to this particular Golden Corral on Veterans day to enjoy a great meal with friends and fellow servicemen...and I get to the cashier and we are told "Sorry, we r not offering the free buffet on Veterans Day, our restaurant is doing it on the following Monday". WTF... I have done this tradition for the last 15 years at different Golden Corral up and down the east coast...and guess when they serve the free buffet...ON VETERANS DAY!!!!! Highly disappointed with this Golden Corral!!!! Gary Sinise (Lt. Dan from Forest Gump) the man who started it all Im sure would not appreciate it either. I feel very disrespected!!!

My daughter and I love this place and have been coming for years..upon reading a past Google review from "Melissa" a year ago, I checked the sanitation grade of this restaurant on the South Carolina Department of Health website since she claimed this Golden Corral had a "B". According to the South Carolina Department of Health (easy to do an inspection search on their website), this Golden Corral has always passed every inspection with an "A" . I reported the review to Google. People need to check their facts before they tarnish a businesss reputation!

Well the food is good, but the manager here at the time is not at all concerned that the air conditioner is leaking from the ceilings and its dropping on you, on your table, in your plate and he doesnt seem to care at all. He and the waitress just shrugged and said its the air conditioner and walked off. Mind you after my complaint we received no more service. Its a simple thing to put a bucket to catch the water and block off the areas so people arent walking where its dropping in their plates.

Okay, BUT........ It seems strange to me that coffee is complementary with lunch and dinner, but not with breakfast. Really not too upset with the cost, I can afford it, but I do not like to be nickel & dimed. The food was fresh and hot, as expected. We were the only ones in the restaurant for quite a while. Service was courteous. It appeared that most of the employees were preoccupied with preparing for lunch, rather than tending to the breakfast meal.
