Can I kiss the cook. Soy de Tampa Florida y... Im always looking for the food that I grew up on. This place is what I call real Mexican soul food... AUTHENTIC MEXICAN FOOD... I have very high expectations when it comes to food. I wish I had more room in my stomach... The tortillas are delicious... I had the Fajita combination con pollo y.... ADIOS MIOS... They will find me there everytime I want a taste of home... Good food.. Good music.. Te amo Melvin es muy comico... Good friends... My heart and soul is warmed..

Highly disappointed I ordered the chicken Tinga and beef Quesadilla . I imagined the chicken tinga to be some type of shredded grilled chicken with onion and tomato as it states on the menu instead it was some wet chicken in some nasty sauce . It came with yellow rice which was really greasy and black beans that looked dark purple . She forgot my guacamole with my platter and didnt put the beef in the quesadilla ! Horrible food wont be back.

Great and authentic Mexican food. Salsas were amazing to start as was guac. House made tamales are best Ive had since Arizona. They also make their own tortillas which is a rarity around NJ. We had a group of six and took a while to get our food, which I attribute to the place being still new. Quality of the food and friendly service certainly overcame.

Best Mexican food in all of New Brunswick! Not only is the owner (Cynthia) a bad mamacita the food tasted like Mexican Gods graced the hands of the chefs. Everything tastes authentic and the prices are really good. Trust me im Mr.WheresTheWave and I know where all the good spots are this place gets TWO THUMBS UP

Asked for something not on the menu (chilaquiles) and they openly cooked it. Thats good service on top of it being delicious. Being at the heart of Rutgers this is a great spot which easily compares and exceeds with local Mexican restaurants on French street. Will definitely be back.

Super authentic flavors, variety of options for vegetarians is phenomenal. We requested peppers onions mushrooms in place of what seemed like a frozen vegetable medley which they happily accommodated making for some killer enchiladas and tortas!

Just got some tacos and some fresh juice from here. Al pastor is really good. Definitely recommend with the side of hot sauce they have! Glad that theres a legit taco spot thats open till late night!

I had a chimichanga with beef, and it was AMAZING. The tortilla was fried and it tasted exactly like Indian fry bread. I was blown away. Cant wait to go back.
