By far the worst Chinese Buffet I have ever been to in my life and this is an astonishing accomplishment as I have been to a Chinese buffet in just about every city I have ever visited and I have traveled a lot. I also usually give buffets a little leeway since it is a buffet and they cook a lot of food at once but this place was a mess. The decorum was okay, but I walked in to some lady eating food behind the counter. Honestly I actually liked that since it gave me hope that the food was good enough for the people who worked there to eat but that hope was soon dashed. It was Sunday night around 7:30 PM and a pretty decent amount of people in the place so I expected fresh food which would make it easier to judge the place. I will admit there was one lady out putting some food down but the selection was limited. The food has little to no flavor, there was no General taos anything (chicken, beef or shrimp) The egg rolls were cooked, all of the food was luke warm at best, the egg rolls were undercooked and barely had any filling and just about and thing fired was soggy. For fish they had whole fried perch which wasnt seasoned, fried Flounder and Salmon filets from Wal-Mart that had a lump of imitation crab meat on top. Of the 25 or so entrée dishes they had only about 5 were of some semblance to Chinese food. Two were some meat and broccoli, one was just mushrooms, there was lo mein and mei fun and there was some other beef and vegetable stuff They also had hibachi and sushi but I wouldnt trust neither judging from their other food. Like most Chinese buffets (at least around here) 90 percent of the staff were Hispanic. It was all overly greasy, flavorless and room temp. Im pretty sure the only reason the place is still open is because its the only Chinese buff in this city and the take out at most other places just always as bad.

One of the worst buffets Ive ever been to. China King Super Buffet in High Point NC. The glass that they gave me with my drink had film around the top. When I complained to the manager she told me I didnt have to eat there. I was shocked. Then she said *We have a lot of customers, you know* She proceeded to say *If we lose some customers, it doesnt matter because we have a lot.* Wow... Every customer is supposed to matter. This was the sort of heavy-set chinese lady saying this. I couldnt believe her attitude. All I was asking for was a clean glass. They gave it to me, but I didnt really want to eat there after her attitude. I should have left because the food wasnt great. The pizza they had was rock-solid. Not even joking.. I bit into it and it could have broken your teeth. It had probably been sitting out all afternoon. It hadnt been touched, it was still a whole pizza when I got some. I complained about that too and the manager told me again *You dont have to eat here.* except this time she was louder. Rude. I asked for a discount or the meal free and they charged full price even though I only ate 2 little plates of rice and japanese chicken. Walked in with large expectations but was severely disappointed. Note; What would make a pizza hard as a rock like that anyway? That was seriously some weird pizza... was it even pizza or just some knock off pizza thing? Pizza is NOT supposed to get super hard like that. Dont eat the pizza here for your health.

We came to China King for a birthday party. The service was bad. The staff made it a point to ask each child how old they were to make sure we werent lying about their age. Pretty sneaky. The waitress failed to separate the tickets and told us to just tell the cashier what we had. The manager of the restaurant rung us up and messed up our ticket. She ended up charging 22 dollars, then 38 dollars, then finally charged the correct amount, which was 18 dollars, for two people. Ill have to look at my bank account to make sure they do not charge us the 22 and 38 dollars. She then accused us of not paying for two people after everyone paid. The service is horrible and the restaurant is dirty. The ceiling and roof has mold and the emergency exits do not actually lead anywhere and do not sound an alarm if pushed. We watched a waitress walk through one and it led to a freezer. This should be reported to the Fire Marshall. Bottom line, do not eat here if you want great service, great food, and not to be ripped off.

As far as I am concerned, I ate there twice (the first time and the last time!). Looks like these good reviews were written quite some time ago. Having been there on April 7th, I can tell you things have changed. Being as polite as I can be, the food was well below average. Far too much of the buffet was taken up by American food: bar-b-ques ribs, macaroni and cheese, potatoes, etc . . . If I wanted that kind of food, Id have gone to a diner. All of the condiments (soy sauce, salt, pepper, etc. . . ) were sticky and dirty. The bottle of hot sauce on our table was empty (its a huge bottle of Sriracha sauce so I seriously doubt the people who occupied the table before us used all of it). The bottle we picked up from the next table was equally as tacky to the touch. Waitress came for dirty plates, but never spoke a word to us and didnt offer to fill empty drinks. Never again.

I have tried all three china king in greensboro. I wanted to write a review for the one off Wendover and I40 but it applies for the other two as well. They serve stale food and I would say unsanitary food (I was throwing up 3 hours later after eating at china king) and lowest quality ingredients. To cover the horrible food they have a large selection (make no mistake you are eating old probably chemically treated food) and the nice room decoration and furniture may trick you to think this is safe, make no mistake. Because the restaurants choices in GSO are so poor, I have returned to China King but I noticed when the waiteresses eat they only pick the fruits (you cannot fake a fresh fruit) and some crab legs (protected by a shell). Trust me there is a reason for that.

This was our 1st time going to this place. As we entered we were not greeted/ acknowledged for a few minutes. The hostess did apologize, she was nice. She was dressed very casual (yoga pants). It was extremely warm in the restaurant, when my husband is warm its definitely WARM! ALL of the food was SOOO greasy except the sushi. Unfortunately ALL of the sushi had no taste. Very weird! The egg drop soup looked as if it had been there ALL day! I could go on but not needed just TRUST me when I say save your money & try some other place. We were BOTH VERY disappointed! We are new to the area & did not know until we WASTED our money, time & going to bed hungry! Dont make the same mistake we did.

I used to frequent this place a couple of years ago when it was new and the food and service was great. However recently this place has gone downhill! The food selection is great with lots of variety, However, I have noticed greasy floors, dirty cleaning buckets in view of customer seating, bathrooms not worthy of taking my children in and even the Sanitation Grade not posted where i could find it. I have noticed a B rating in the past so I look now. I have sworn that I will not eat at this restaurant again and will drive all the way to GSO for a Chinese Buffet. They have a good location so they always look busy, but i doubt you will see me in there again!
