Its been years since Ive had lunch here and was curious to know if the quality of the food was still good. Went today for the fish sandwich combo and was very disappointed. First of all the grease was too strong which led me to believe the grease was old. Secondly, they only give you 1 piece of fish on the sandwich in which most places gives you 2 pieces, and third, one of the slices of bread was hard in which I didnt eat. Therefore, my sandwich consisted of 1 slice of bread and 1 piece of fish. The french fries was ok. I asked for Arnold Palmer Tea (lemonade/Sweet Tea). On my drive back to work, only to find out that they gave me regular sweet tea. The prices was pretty decent but you get what you pay for. Overall, I wont be returning or recommending anyone else to this spot. This is a fish market and they should focus on selling fish/seafood. The restaurant side of this establishment needs much improvement.

I went in today and had the whiting and shrimp, the shrimp were not cleaned before they were fried and all you could taste was the dirty vein left in the shrimp, and they were not fried crispy, the fish was under seasoned and over fried. The sides were the worst I had ever tasted..The yams had too much nutmeg and that was all you tasted there was no buttery taste. The butter beans had no taste, they almost taste like frozen beans tossed in a pot to cook, no seasonings or nothing..I was very disappointed because I am from up north and I expect more in the south. It is hard to find a good seafood spot and this is not one I would recommend. FYI: The sweet tea was nasty also..It taste like it was made with sweet & low.

I went to Capital Seaford Market for the 1st time about 3 weeks ago to order fresh fish and a meal to eat. I was warned about the fishy smell. This is a fish market. What do you expect???? I purchased 6 pieces of fresh whitings for about $8. They were a nice size piece so I was able to cut them in half and had about 12 pieces. I was thoroughly satisfied. For my meal, I purchased a wing dinner with a side of butter beans and macaroni & cheese. The food was good but the side portions were a little small. I was very disappointed that it was not a full portion. The sides came in cups with a lid. Therefore, only but so much could fit in there. However, I will go back again.

The customer service is always pleasant when I enter this place of business. I wasnt too thrilled about my order.... It was fresh, hot, but the taste quality wasnt too satisfying. This was my first time ordering cooked food from them. I must include I was pleased with the service the manager displayed, she seemed short staffed but handled multiple work areas with grace, patience, and quality customer service... She is exactly the type of person whom I would look for to manage my place of business, she had all the traits of what a good employee /manager as described an various training and proven successful work ethnics of quality customer care.

This fish was great but its and African lady there who has an attitude problem. She got frustrated with a 90 year old lady because she couldnt understand her .She made the lady cry. I started to leave but like I said the fish was good. Then I ask for croakers and porgie she dumped my picked croakers out and went to get porgie and had a nerve to say I thought you didnt want croakers. I asked for a manger but no one was there. I got the to go clerk to get my fish please because now I was ready to go somewhere else. Customer service is first and if it aint great then I can go where it is better.

I havent been to this restaurant since my son got his hair cut across the street last year. Was craving some fish and chicken only to do find out not only did they not have any chicken wings, they also had no flounder. The lady at the register was very rude and her attitude was horrible. She was rude to this old man that was sitting waiting on his order when he asked just a simple question about HIS order. This will be my last time coming here. The way you present yourself to your customers makes an impact.

Went and purchased 3 whiting fillets and got them home only to open them and smell a rotting smell that smelled like an infected sore. One of the fish was very mushy and old looking. I drove back only for the woman in charge to make it seem like I was lying and nothing was wrong with fish. She also placed fish back in sale bin but left out the rotted piece. I received no apology or anything. Just a quick refund. Never again....

Today I called about getting soft shell crabs and oysters for the holidays. I spoke with Paula and she was so kind and provided excellent customer service. She asked me to call back around 11:00 because she was going to try and locate what I needed. She returned a call with a few minutes and had located my soft shells and was having them shipped to the Durham location!!! Kudos to Paula for excellent customer service.

I was amazed at the service and selection of fish this business had. This was the 1st time visiting and shopping at this business. Everything was GREAT!!! We bought fresh fish .... large size croakers, in which they clean and chopped heads off and we bought filet trout. This is definitely our store and will be ACI for me. They also have a restaurant in which will try own our next visit. They sell soul soul soul food!!!

At the recommendation of two co-workers I thought I would give this place a try. I purchased the Shrimp Flounder lunch special. The food was very greasy, I couldnt really taste the seasonings over the grease. I also purchased a slice of Cake from the counter and it tasted old, not very good. I will not purchase food from here again, the Customer Service was great though.

Really should have trusted the reviews. The service was friendly and fast, however the fries were nasty and the unfresh fish poorly cooked in old grease. $15 for the family Crocker pack and we ended up giving all the fries to a homeless and not eating the fish. The hushpuppies were good, but thats it. Skip this joint...warned you.

The best. Used infrequently (only because were not local) until our other "fishmonger" left us hanging 2 days before our oyster roast rehearsal dinner. Capital saved the day and I dont buy seafood anywhere else now. In fact, headed that way for live soft shells and oysters right now. Love love love this place.

I havent eaten from the cooked section but is more than acceptable for the seafood market. The fish I purchased, mullet and catfish, were fresh and very reasonably priced. The selection could be a bit larger and parking is tricky during rush hour but nothing that would prevent me from returning.

The food was amazing! The seafood was fresh and perfectly cooked. We got fried oysters and gizzards. The oysters were huge and perfect! The gizzards were delicious. We also got the lemon cake, it was great. I recommend this place and will be returning.
