Hands down, best authentic Mexican food in Durham! Delicious tacos, gorditas, rice & beans, and micheladas (you must try!).. all at an affordable price. They have the best condiment bar to top off your desired dish. Endless cilantro, fresh limes, and more! Vegetables are fresh and salsas are homemade. I just moved here from Texas and must say that Azteca is as good as it gets!

The food, atmosphere, and decor are true to Mexican culture. You can taste the work and authenticity in the food. While the service is not 100% fantastic, the food is amazing!!!! Soccer or Hispanic shows grace the television screen - while Spanish music plays. It is great. I absolutely LOVE Azteca and plan to go back!!!!

Authentic Mexican food! Do not go expecting the American version. Everything was made fresh on their fixins bar. I can personally comment on the tasty plate of enchiladas. It came with 4 chicken enchiladas, Mexican rice, refried beans and was covered in shredded cheese and avocado slices. Yum!

I loved the salsa de aceite, bien picosita, the freshly made Agua de melon perfect for this hot weather. Its refreshing. They had great customer service, so attentive and made my plate to my specific request. If youre looking for a great Mexican restaurant here it is!
