Satisfaction? Not hardly. Let me start this by saying Ive been in customer service for years. We came in for dinner, the restuaurant was mildly busy but nothing that should be out of the ordinary for a Friday night. Our hostess was too busy chatting to seat us and a bit rude, but it was whatever. Someone came to take our drink orders, when they returned with the drinks they forgot my 7yos. Problem was we didnt get the option to tell anyone- they booked away without giving us the option, I flagged someone down when he got upset ten minutes later. Waitresses were all rude. Finallg someone came to take our food order, was rude and demanding. Someone in our party declined a side salad and didnt get to ask for a substitute "Yeah well it comes with it, anyone else want it?" Now, I intentionally kept the drink menu in case I or one of the otger two adults in my partyvwanted to order another. The woman all but pulled it out of my hand after I separated it from the menus to keep, very obviously. After that we waited forever for our food. When it came my 7yos almost flew off yhe table because it was very literally tossed at us. One person had mac and cheese and was given no silverware. Over the course of 15 minutes we asked FIVE PEOPLE while all other tables around us got their food. No silverware. I picked up my infant and had to walk into the kitchen myself only to be given a plastic fork. I had to stand and block the passage way for over 10 minutes after waiting 20 for the check. Maybe you ought to train all 6 "servers" on the meaning of service.

Satis only gets three stars because they have a bunch of TVs that can show every game and they have cheap beer specials. The food, atmosphere, and service are usually between okay and very bad. I have visited a handful of times and had the nachos, some of their pizza, and a burger with fried okra and fries. The nachos were bad, the pizza is okay, the burger was surprisingly on the better side of okay (expectations were low). The fried food is nothing great. Typical pub fare and not the low low prices I would expect for a large place with low quality, likely frozen food. The beer, however, comes cold and is about as cheap as you can find. During Monday Night Football recently they were serving Yuengling on tap for $2.50 a pint. Hard to argue with that. Sometimes service is real slow when you would like to order food or another beer. No one is rude though, so its not abysmal service. Its kind of a big open pub space with a mix of tables and bar stools. No booths that I can remember. The mens bathroom was reasonably clean but not superb. Lots and lots of HD TVs. On Sundays they have them labeled for which NFL games are showing, which is helpful for picking your seat/table. Overall, it earns the elementary school grade that is its namesake: Satisfactory. Not excellent, not outstanding, but also not a complete failure. Go across the street to the Federal if you want better food.

UNSATISFACTION TO SAY THE MOST!!! Our food was ordered at the same time but the chicken tenders came out 8 minutes before the burger. The burger was WAY overcooked, chicken tenders were WAY overcooked. I addressed the situation with the manager and she comped the chicken tenders and burger but when the waitress came over to drop off the check she had a MAJOR ATTITUDE!!! I addressed this with the manager. When the same waitress came over with the check for us to sign she still had a MAJOR ATTITUDE!! This time I took the check to the manager and told her that the waitress still had an attitude problem and that we left her a $0.08 tip and that we would NEVER be back!!! ALL I CAN SAY IS SAVE YOU MONEY AND EAT ELSEWHERE!!!!

Went their last night after our sons baseball game we were a group of 12 we spent 2 1/2 hours here and by an hour 1/2 in our food started coming out in 3s every 20 min and by this time we were ready to go and 3 people still hadnt received their food. Our waitress was AWESOME, she was very apologetic and was in tears by the time she brought our bills this was not her fault. They had 1 cook working and like 2 waitresses while we did receive a discount and some meals free.... this was absolutely the worst experience I have had here.also not to mention we love the food here and suffered with no a/c (unit broke things happen) to enjoy a meal together and was unable to do so.

From the moment we entered, we waited several minutes to be seated when we were the only ones in line; followed by almost 10 mins just to order a drink. The food came out cold, when we told the waiter it was cold he brought it back microwaved. Our appetizer was missing half of the options and the cesar salad came at the end of the meal when everything was finished after we reminded 2 different waiters. Finally, at the end of the meal was when we got silverware despite asking 2 different waiters. No customer service. Waiters didnt have name tags and didnt introduce themselves. A true disappointment. First time &Last time!!

We are from Minneapolis and our son was getting married in Durham. We held our grooms dinner at Satisfaction Restaurant. From the beginning planning, to meeting the owner, Stanton, we could not of asked for better service and treatment! Stanton helped plan the menu, kept it within our budget (feeding 90 people!) and met our every want and need for the evening! The food was terrific, the service wonderful and we could not of asked for a better place to hold this celebration. All the guests complimented our choice and it was a wonderful evening! Thank you Satisfaction!!

So, weve always enjoyed eating at Satisfaction. The pizza is what we usually continue to return for. Well, tonight we decided to get a small pizza and a couple of side salads. I was very disappointed in the size of the salads, for the price. They are charging $4 for a salad in a very small cereal bowl, that I cant see paying more than $1.99 for anywhere else. They really need to look at the size of small salads at other restaurants, to be able to compare what they are offering for the price. Try again, management. I wish I would have taken a picture to show everyone.

Keep your receipt !!! I was with a group of about seven people. The check came and gratuity was already added. After my debit transaction posted to my account, I noticed that the amount was another $3.00. I did not leave a tip as this was already calculated on my bill. I thought this happened last time, but I had lost the receipt, and could not verify this. I hate to cry over $3.00, but that is money I earned and she did not. The waitress did not deserve the tip she recieved as service again was sub-par. Food was not great.I will not be eating here again.

The food is simply amazing here! But the service is absolutely terrible. Even when business is slow and there is not many people in there, service is still awful. This place could easily get 5 stars hands down if they would get better service. Also, take out sucks. The food is better when you sit down inside to eat. My to go order was wrong and did not taste as good. If you do not sometimes mind the Duke student crowd and a little wait, the food is worth it. Definitely a place to try out in the downtown Durham area. Just please get better service.
