All reviews have pointed in the correct direction: this place serves great Korean cuisine (which I was in search of) and I imagine the entire eclectic menus items would also taste as good. Ignore the exterior and interior. Ignore the neighborhood. Even ignore the "Im about to give birth" woman being wheeled into an ambulance. Seriously, thats what my dining partner and I walked past to go into the restaurant. Just go to eat the best Korean that Ive had in Charlotte. The server is very friendly and will make great suggestions, particularly if youre new to this cuisine. We ordered Yanyum wings, bulgogi, and je yuk bok eum to share. She also recommended the scallion pancake - Ill get that next time. The food was amazing and well presented with banchan of kimchi, spicy pickled fresh veggies, pickled turnip slices and steamed rice. I enjoy spicy food and would rate what we ate as 2.5 out of 5 on my spicy scale. The prices for the Korean specialties were high for me but one gets what one pays for. Give these guys a try if youre into Korean!! 10/10 here will return.

China Wing has the best Korean food in Charlotte. Dont be turned off by its appearance, it isnt a generic Chinese takeout (even has a drive-thru!) Go in, ask for the Korean menu, and enjoy some of the most authentic Korean food in the state. The service can be spotty during peak times, but the food more than makes up for it. Theyll make it as spicy as you like. Some evenings the restaurant is packed with local Korean families. Very reasonable prices, most entrees are under $10 and everything is under $20, even if you order a drink. Family owned and run, by one of the nicest families youll ever meet.

I lived in Asia, and pretty familiar with Korean quisine. This is very mediocre, non-authentic Asian food restaurant with pricey dishes! I ordered shrimp japchae, and a small portion costed me $14! They dont give you any additional sides with it like all other authentic Korean places do. To be fair, the dish was pretty tasty, so giving them 2 stars. Place is small, not cozy and nice, I wouldnt want to sit there and eat, take-out is the best way to go if you really want to try this place out

Im telling you that Koreans know their fried chicken! Especially here at China Wing.They really know how to batter and fry their chickens. The Original was crunchy and very juicy. Waffle fries were yummy as well. The portions are big and everything is fried, so it is recommended that you share. I would come here more often, but my health conscience wont allow me. :( Ill have to wait for another cheat day.

This place literally had it all. The young woman was amazingly friendly and very attentive. I made the mistake of going with non Korean food, had a gyro and wing combo. For everything in the plate it was $10. Reasonable for the amount of food received. Next time I go back Ill be trying the actual Korean food. Locally owned family run for over 20 years, pretty impressive.

I ordered chicken and brocolli and a order of wings. Although I had called in 15 minutes earlier, when i initially arrived my food was not ready. But when I got my food my wings were too hard and the sauce was too watery and it was too spicey.The customer service was nice but other than that, in my opinion the food was horrible.

If I could give this place a zero. I would. First time trying, read the reviews and thought wed give it a try. While very clean, the food was gross. I got the broccoli in garlic sauce, and my boyfriend got the chicken wings which were extremely tiny. Im kicking myself for spending almost $30 on that meal.

Honestly I was really looking forward to eat here. But when I went my god! The food was so expensive for a small plate of food. They say It’s worth the money but honestly the food was refried and had bad taste. Really Dissapointed and unsatisfied. Will not be purchasing from here☹️

1st time there today. It was okay. got a Bulgogi philly cheesesteak, interesting, i know. it was ok. the fries however tasted like they were fried in old oil and were soggy as heck. Might go back and try something different next time.

Got the sweet sour chicken. Asked for NO vegetables, came with onions. Chicken was mostly fat. Sauce wasnt very good. More expensive than normal chinese but far far worse than any Ive had before. Definitely will not be going there again.

Great food , I ate the Ramen and it made me feel like Naruto. The guy serving us was really sweet. Dont pay attention on how scary it looks just pay attention to the yummy meal you will have.
