Everything here that Ive tasted is delicious. I often get the chicken fingers with fries and their apple bites (little mini fried apple pies). The pork bbq is also delicious, and the fried chicken is to die for! All of the sides Ive tasted were hot and fresh, and, with sweet tea to wash it all down, you have a super wonderful meal. Everyone there is friendly, the service is fast, and its in a central location close to the beach. The prices are also very reasonable and affordable if you dont want to break the bank at some of the other local restaurants.

we stopped by on the fourth day of our visit and was pleasantly surprised. i wish it had been our first day. the chicken was the best i have had in years,lightly breaded and done to perfection. the cheeseburgers were what i remember as a kid at this local grill i always went to...terrific..and the onion rings could not have been any better. if i had tried this place on our first day...i assure you we would have been back every single day...and very reasonably priced which is more than i can say about the other eateries in town.

Service was by far the worst on Carolina Beach. Staff working behind the counter were steadily bashing previous customers. One lady was scratching her head while she prepped food. Our waitress was grumpy with everyone she dealt with, even other employees. BBQ was loaded with gristle and fat. Lazy BBQ equivalent to a vending machine. Will not return. Way to many great options in the area to give A&G our business again...

I have eaten at A&G for many years, but this past month we stopped in and ordered simply cheeseburgers and onion rings. The order taker forgot to give our order to the cook so we had to wait a long time for our food. Once it arrived the burgers were very small and the onion rings were soggy with grease. It was an expensive meal for the quality and quanity of food.

Hand pattied burgers and fresh fried chicken, chicken livers, fresh pork BBQ, homemade onion rings, cooked veggies, and more plus hot dogs and grilled cheese and chicken tenders for the little tykes. Everything is delicious and you can eat great food for prices that are well under what other places charge for fast frozen food.

This place looks like a dive and it is. After our large party was turned away at a number of locations we resorted to A and G bc the reviews were good. Nearly Everything was fried and greasy. The only thing that was tasty was the hush puppies. Pulled pork was terrible and the shrimp burger was tiny fried shrimp on a white bun. Go anywhere else!

This little place has some serious food! I had the chopped pork bbq plate with mashed potatoes, green beans and hush puppies. The bbq was super tender and I didnt even need to put any sauce on it because the flavor was so amazing. Only regret is I filled myself up before I could get to the banana pudding! Will be coming back, highly recommend!!

We have an coming here for years. They have great home cooked food. Hot dogs the way they are meant to be. Mustard, chili, slaw, and onions. Speaking of onions they have the BEST onion rings. I have traveled the country and get onions rings wherever I go. I havent found any that compare to A&Gs!

Would give them zero if could. This place was not clean!! The food was GREASEY. Not good at all. The tea tasted sour as if it were a few days old or left out in heat all day. We were the only ones in there and it took over 20 mins to get our food. Poor service nasty food and unclean. DONT GO THERE

If youre looking for a place at Carolina Beach that offers a good variety of ample plates that dont carry that beach price tag we all know too well, this is the perfect place. And my family and I cant say enough about how well the service was at A&G. Weve found our new go-to for future vacations!

Holy Pig! My first visit tonight. I had the barbecue pork sandwich & a small fry. Only $475! They served it with slaw & suggested Texas Petes. The fries were perfect, even after the 5 minute drive home. The sandwich was so good I cursed when I dropped a crumb. Ill be back real soon!

I stayed in the house DIRECTLY across the street from this place and I must say they had low prices for food, easy access and everyone was friendly! I enjoyed their food very much. I recommend this to anyone who wants a semi cheap dinner that the entire family will enjoy!

Laid back environment. You can seat yourself. I got pulled pork with mashed potatoes and hush puppies all very good. Taste homemade and was brought out very fast. Not a fancy place at all. good for a fast lunch or snack. Over all a good place though, good local spot.

Just started working on the island and a coworker took me to A&G. Wasnt really sure about it but let me tell you. If you like good old country cooking and a laid back atmosphere this is the place. The menu reads as a southern comfort greatest hits.

This was a cute little place off the beaten path. It was recommended by a local and well worth it!!! The fried chicken had amazing flavor and they actually know how to cook greens here. I would definitely come back when Im back in town.
