Iv been coming here for the past 5 years when i travel to Virginia. And usually im in love with the place i even recommend it to my fellow new yorkers!! This weekend we visited and all day waited to go here. Upon entering i had my family 3 children included . Me and my husband decided to get the all you can eat bbq but the waitress also took people order before us and they came after us in which i tried to dumb down to my husband because i did not want to start a issue. We finished our 1st plates and ordered the 2nd but my husband got full so he asked for the check. We realized my second order did not come out we told our waitress BRENDA R. But instead of saying she will fix it we was charged for three all you can eat instead of for two...my husband told her since we didnt get it can she just box it since it was a honest mistake on their part. She said she cannot it was for here but i told her if she put the order in how hard was it to just give us that portion??? She walked away. The manager i think corrected the amount and she just came back for the signature. Yea we are very disappointed and will not return. Sad part is we loved the place and drive 5 hrs for it ! Guess its under new management.

Loved it, 2nd time eating this food and it was good. But this place gets 2 stars because I ran to my car to get my babies their coats because it was chilly outside on the patio. Come back and my food sat alone on the table people walk pass to get outside, my daughters said they brought something to the table but didnt leave it. I dont know if it was because I had an alcoholic beverage but Id rather someone took it back to the bar and my potato back to the kitchen rather sit it on some random table, I wasnt outside long so it couldve been there long but I feel that was very unsanitary to do that. When I walked pass it to go back outside I knew it was mine but couldnt believe it until my daughters said something, I just went back in the building and got it off the table. Even tho I was mad I just didnt say anything cause I was just trying to enjoy my food and kids birthday dinner otherwise they couldve gotten a 5

Well I was hoping for good bar-b-que and what I got was cold, so I sent it back and got it warmed up, but I got less food than what I had originally gotten and it was just disappointing. They also seemed in a hurry to close (it was just 9) and had already put all the stools up. Our server (Mike) was really good and took great pains to work out any issues, but the kitchen and the manager on duty where just not good. Owners make a better effort to have decent management and kitchen workers or your resturant will go under quick and someone else will come along to take your place. I suggest hitting one of the other dozen resturants around this area.

-Came in Sunday party of six, We sat in the back party room which was very cozy and clean. Ordered half slab wet, beef brisket platter, cheese burger and fried chickens platters. We had fried jalapeno for appetizers along with the new Burnt end beef which was Amazing...Must try the beef, its so tender. All the meals came out quick and hot. The server (Brenda) and manager(David) came to check on us. We were very happy with the service and will definitely come back again. Great BBQ!!! with different sauces Hoochie Coochie sauce is a must try! -Restaurant has an awesome atmosphere. Mens bathroom was clean with good scent.

The manager was disrespectful and did not look out for the best interest of the restaurant. We ordered takeout at 9:55 pm. The woman who took our order was nice and told us it would be ready in 10 min. We got there at 10:40 bc we got held back but as the restaurant website said it was open til 11 it shouldve been fine. We called bc the restaurant doors were closed and the manager said we close at 10 and that he threw our food out. NEVER AGAIN! I think someone needs retraining. Seriously, dont go to this restaurant.

We loved this place. We were a group of over 20 and normally that doesnt go well with certain places but they were ready super fast and the servers were awesome! We also saw a couple other big groups and no one seemed stresssed. The food was great everyone loved what they ordered minus 1 person. Theyre dry rub wings were amazing. My mother who hates most restaurants liked her food, so that says something lol. We really enjoyed ourselves.

Six or seven years ago this place had some really great food and amazing service. Fast forward to today and it was a totally different story. Staff was meh. The burgers a ordered were terrible and the place smelled like an unclean mophead that should have been thrown out months ago, but the manager is to cheap to replace...very disappointed that one of my travel staples has gone down hill so bad.

Not sure what I expected, but I got a Chilis like place. Its basically a sit down fast food joint. Dave, the manager was great. Unfortunately, Dave struggles with mediocre food. The staff was hit or miss, seems like the kitchen staff was more motivated than the wait staff. In the end, the wait staff was crap. There was a young guy delivering food, he was a rock star.

Went there last night looking for some good BBQ, but the restroom was absolutely disgusting. The smell literally made me throw up and I felt I could taste it in the food. Service was good had a friendly waiter. The restaurant was pretty empty though for a Saturday night. Had the Carolina chopped pork sandwich and even the coleslaw on top couldnt help the dry meat.

First ever visit. Service was a bit slow and for a Saturday night was pretty empty. But the food was really good, for a yank. The dry rub wings were great. The brisket, pulled pork, and pulled chicken were moist. The sausage was delicious. The added dry rub spice at the table was wonderful to have. As an added bonus, the kids ate for free.

Was late around 8:30p we ask the waiter if the kitchen still open cause the place lookalikes about to close. Couple of chairs was on the table.he said yes and took our orders. And I think the cook wasnt happy about it he gave us cold fries with a big human hair on it. This place used to be ok but naw bahhh.

Ribs going downhill fast . I have been to this location 4 times now in the past year or so. The first time the ribs were good, second time, pretty good as well. The last 2 times the ribs were dry and hard. They were definitely too old. After this past time I do not think I will be ordering the ribs again.

The service was decent. The facility was what you might expect. I thought the food was horrible. I had the ribs and Chicken Combo and it was the worst BBQ I have had. The food had zero flavor, the cole slaw was fresh, but tasteless. Even with adding all the sauces all you can not really taste anything.
