This was a very pleasant surprise. We didnt want to spend the time it usually takes on a Friday night waiting to be seated, waiting for service, and before you know it 2 hours are gone and its too late to shop. It was pretty outside today so several folks were seated at their outdoor tables which meant there were a couple tables available still indoors. I ordered the Brisket (not the sandwich) with Cold Slaw and iced tea; my husband ordered the Brisket Sandwich with green beans and iced tea. My order came with tasty looking corn bread, which I cant eat (gluten free - boo hoo) so I gave it to my husband and he said it was delicious. The brisket was SUPER tender. I should have figured out the theme by the paraphernalia in the store and the huge tank parked outside, but now that I know, I love this place even more. I took pictures of some of the Military and Police items and love that they honor these heroes. Besides that, the food was great! There were 6 different types of BBQ sauce on the table - we both like the Memphis Belle sauce, it was a little sweet and not too hot, which we prefer. All in all, its casual dining but very good food and we were in and out quickly, which was perfect! Well definitely return.

Wow... I mean... Wow!! What an amazing place!! If youre looking for a family place, this is it! If youre looking for a place to watch and enjoy sports, this is it! If youre looking for a place to honor the service men and women who put their lives on the line for us, this is your place!!! Oh yeah... And I havent gotten to the food!! Last time we were here, we had the 3 meat sampler... Which was beyond great!! We also had the most amazing and incredible conversation with Jamie and Heather... Trust me... These ladies are for real!! Just incredibly beautiful inside and out!! Im still looking forward to coming here at noon when they play the national anthem... I get goosebumps just thinking about it!! Oh, and today? The smoked ribeye... Im sinking my teeth into it as I write... Get here... Im telling you... Get here now!! You wont regret it!!!

WOW - some of the best BBQ weve had! And we are BBQ junkies. Driving from the northeast to Fla, we discovered Mission BBQ by accident after a near-miss at another bbq spot. We were soooooooooooo lucky the other spot wouldnt serve sliced brisket sandwiches for lunch - only some pulled-brisket-already-in-a-sauce-something-or-other. We walked out of the other place and a guy in the parking lot RIGHT out front said - GO TO MISSION BBQ. you WONT regret it - TRUST me. . . . Boy was he right!!!! If wed gotten his name, wed send him a thank you card! Mission BBQ has a SUPER friendly staff - very courteous and anxious to be sure you are happy! Great supporters of veterans and law. enforcement and firemen. Dynamic menu with great choices and delicious Q!!! WHAT a great find!

In my visit to Mission BBQ, I was not impressed much at all with the food. The prices seemed a bit too high for chain barbeque that isnt all that amazing in the first place. The six sauces they offer are unique at least and allow for "customization" of your meat. Theres loads of military and police related decoration, which is interesting and creates a fitting atmosphere. If youre looking for barbeque in the Hagerstown area, Mission BBQ works in a pinch, however I would strongly point you in the direction of Hempen Hill, a non-chain restaurant with miles better food and greater options only a few minutes away.

Their brisket and pulled pork is perfectly cooked, with just the right amount of flavor. They have six homemade sauces on each table for your meat, and a vinaigrette mixture that vinaigrette lovers will delight in. All meat is cocked/smoked on premise and they have no microwaves in the facility. I also enjoyed their homemade lemonade and the side of Mac N Cheese. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The decorations and theme of this establishment is about the U.S. Military Branches and being a Patriotic American. It was a very satisfying experience and I will be back.

I have to say the sides are very good but, I was not very happy with the ribs, they are way over cooked, fell off the bone had no bite or pull. The pulled pork was dry, the pulled chicken was good but, they had NO brisket. I do alot of smoking meat and Ive been to bbq joints all over the country and its not the worst but its not what everyone has talked it up to be. They dont smoke the chicken hot enough at the end to crisp up the skin. Its like rubber. Ive smoked alot of ribs and pork butt for pulled pork and Id put my ribs and pulled pork up against mission bbqs any day.

My husband and I went to eat here today. It was very good. The people are all nice, foodl was great ( little high in price I thought) but you get a lot to eat. We got baby backs, fFiesta, aad corn bread, and beans and could not eat it all. Brought almost a whole rack home. It was a little cold in there but we asked if they could turn a/c down and they did with no problem. Please go and try. They support all service men and women to include police, fire and emergency 100 %.

Service was very quick. The staff very helpful and super nice. I had the the brisket (not sandwich) and got the moist option. It was very moist and tender but just not much flavor, no smoke flavor at all. The beans were very good nice bold flavor. Fries and corn bread were up to par. Wife got the baby backs which were also tender but again not a lot of flavor. If you like to slather your BBQ in BBQ sauce then this is a place for you. 6 sauce options all were decent to good.

I wasnt crazy about their Carolina sauce, but the food was pretty good. A little more fat in the pulled chicken than I like/expected but cooked well. I only tried the cornbread and French fries so Im not sure about the other sides, but the ones I got were freshly made. I would go back, as the person next to me got the brisket, and it looked really good. Probably try a different bbq sauce too.

I dont know how many stars there are in the universe, but THIS PLACE deserves ALL of them! The customer service is phenomenal to both civilians and the Military, Law Enforcement, and Firefighter communities. The line was through and way out the door, and yet the wait was no more than 5 minutes. And to completely seal the deal the food! MY GOD THE FOOD! You have to experience it for yourself!

Entire experience was very positive from the very helpful young lady that took (and assisted with) our order to the young man who offered to clear our trays at the end of the meal. The food was hot, freshly prepared, quite delicious, and the portions were very generous. Very happy to see the decor/displays honoring our first responders. Great experience.

A little expensive but the employees have a great attitude. Good variety of bbq sauces to try. If you have been to Texas and know about Rudys (which is great btw) then I would call this place trying to be a casual national chain modeled after Rudys. Just so you know this doesnt come close to as good as Rudys, but for the east coast it will do.
