My family and I, 4 in total, came to Checkers on Sunday at around 6 PM. Not very busy. A miserable man with a beard and glasses got impatient with us because we were not ready to order as soon as we walked in. We had never been to a Checkers before and were not familiar with the menu. It took 3 or 4 minutes before we were ready to order. I ordered the food by the menu numbers, all combos and this guy was almost rude, never smiled, and acted like I was a moron. I paid and was handed the drink cups. He told me someone would bring the order to the table. We sat near the counter and he acted the same to all the customers. I watched him put food on the trays and touch the fries with his bare hands to see if they were warm. Our food came to the table lukewarm at best. I also observed another employee making up the orders for the drive thru window and this guy was eating fries out of the to-go bags before he delivered them to the window. Never Again! Only 1 employee had gloves on - so unsanitary!

First of all I have to warn you that 3 of our gps were giving us similar by 20 km difference directions but none of them were correct. Good thing was that all of them pointed to roughly same area and the main street. So we finally found it! Place looks brand new (Dec. 2016) . Was pleasant and clean and all of employees on Wednesday around noon time were very young that I wondered shouldnt they be in the school. They were all very pleasant and cheerful and helpful to us "first time Checkers". We had special: butterry stake meal and was smaller size but oh sooo delicious! Their chilly dog is still in my fondest memory as the best chilly dog ever! All this at very affordable price! So if your GPS is same as our 3- dont worry and keep on driving until you find it because it is worth it!

For a new franchise to the area, not a lot to recommend this location. Place already has a run down and dingy feel even though it is fairly new. If you know Checkers, youre not in for any surprises - if you dont, expect burgers, fries and chicken to be your main offerings. As with any chain, toppings and sauces are the biggest differences. Checkers fries, seasoned and crispy, are really pretty good. The burgers... Ill pass, thanks. Decent rolls, though... That has to be said. Truth is, Id rather have Wendys if Im getting a fast food burger at all. Sorry, Checkers.

Disgusted in Checkers Saw A manager yelling at a Employee Like if he was his own Child No respect shown for the hard working kids there Also A Kid with Blonde here was sagging there pants Showing They Underwears and The chili Meat they use is from Old Burgers they suppose to throw out Really Nasty for that And saw employees eating the Food with no gloves on and Put some back in where the fries go Most unsanitary place to eat at I would rather starve than eat there food Is Also cold

Waited 20 mim for 3 cheeseburgers nd fries came home at it and sure enough in couple hours im throwing up and have food poisining thank you for ruining my russels getaway today.my lawyer will be contacting them soon not happy at all maybe if you had enough people on shift u wouldnt of pushed out uncooked food smh sickning

Absolute worst service ever. The manager was a short, young, white guy with brown hair (I forgot his name) but I asked for my fries to be made fresh. I ordered the huge one and he literally said they were fresh when they werent and he knew it!!!! They came straight from that nappy a** heat lamp and were barely warm

Pretty good fast food experience. Lots of options and some really good deals. Food isnt of incredible quality, but you are honestly getting more than you pay for. Definitely a good stop if youre on a tight budget. The shakes are also pretty great.

Worst Checkers burger Ive ever had! Tasted nothing like the several other Checkers that I have been to. Patties were cold. Never thought Id say there was a worse location than the one in Cheektowaga, but there is. I hate cold food!

Checkers is the best alternative to Chick-fil-A in Buffalo. The spicy chicken sandwich here is good. If there was a Chick-fil-A in Buffalo checkers would drop to 3 stars. Dont get a burger, thumbs down. The fries are great.

Great fast food. Mozzarella cheese sticks are always a go to. Tried a new slushie today: Watermelon slushie. It didnt make it home. Great flavor and nice cool drink on a hot muggy day.

Great kibble even at 1am. If youre looking for something different from McDonalds or BK its really good with a fairly expansive menu. Chicken box is a must have.
