EVERYONE BEWARE THIS PLACE DOES SOME SHADY THINGS. WENT ONE DAY TO BUY CHICKEN DURING MY LUNCH BREAK AS I WORK IN TYSONS CORNER ACROSS THE STREET. I WAITED IN LINE FOR 10 MIN AND THEIR CREDIT CARD MACHINE HAPPENED TO STOP WORKING WHEN I GET TO THE REGISTER. MAN AT THE REGISTER SWIPED MY CARD 4X AND SAID THAT NONE WENT THROUGH. THEY DID NOT LET ME TAKE THE FOOD SO I SPENT 30 MIN OF MY BREAK FOR NOTHING TO LEAVE WITH NO FOOD. CHECKED MY BANK ACCOUNT THE NEXT DAY AND EVERY SWIPE THE MAN DID AT THE REGISTER WITH MY CARD WENT THROUGH AND I WAS CHARGED 4 TIMES. I CALLED IN REGARDING THIS SITUATION AND THEIR SUPERVISOR SAID I HAD TO GO IN TO GET A REFUND WHICH IS RIDICULOUS. SO I HAD TO LEAVE WORK EARLY FOR THE INCONVENIENCE TO GO BACK TO GET A REFUND. TALKED TO THE OWNER THAT IS A LADY AND I EXPLAINED TO HER THE WHOLE SITUATION AND I FINALLY GOT A REFUND AFTER WAITING FOR 20 min I TOLD HER THAT SHE SHOULD GIVE ME A FREE MEAL FOR THE INCONVENIENCE AND SHE TOLD ME THAT ITS NOT HER FAULT THAT HER SYSTEM STOPPED WORKING. I EXPLAINED THAT THE SYSTEM DID WORK B/C IT CHARGED ME EVERY SINGLE TIME. SHE HAD AN ATTITUDE WITH ME. BY FAR THE WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I WILL NOT BE TAKING MY MONEY BACK TO THESE PEOPLE DURING MY LUNCH AS I USE TO BE A REPEATED CUSTOMER AND BEWARE EVERYONE CHECK YOUR BANK ACCOUNTS AFTER THEY SWIPE YOUR CARD BECAUSE THEY MIGHT BE TRYING TO PULL A FAST ONE AND DOUBLE CHARGE YOU WITHOUT YOU KNOWING!

Might be the best chicken Ive ever eaten. Im always on the hunt for the best Lomo Saltado so when I got into Tysons Corner I looked around to find non-tourist/local places to eat. I stumbled across a Peruvian chicken place and saw they had it. But I couldnt pass up their specialty, chicken. They have a big rotisserie setup with charcoal, so imagine tasty seasonings, a super crispy skin and drippingly juicy rotisserie chicken, with a natural back yard charcoal flavor! Sadly the Lomo Saltado didnt live up to the one in Wynwood Ive been trying to find a replacement for. And the caramel cornstarch coated cookie, alfajor, was a tasty treat to cap off dinner.

Food is good and has veggie options. However, if you are ordering off of the menu as opposed to their buffet, plan on calling ahead. Am currently waiting over 30 minutes for a veggie burrito and side of plantains. 2nd Edit: Came back today and received a meal on the house. I truly appreciate the attentive management here. Called ahead and it only took 20 minutes, which is a reasonable time considering their lunch rush. As mentioned in my original review, the food is good, which is why I will continue to come back. Edit: changed to 1 star as I have waited 45 minutes for something that contains no meat.

This place is great! It is walkable from my work, and infinitely better than the cafeteria there. for the same price as some awful chineese food or a limp sandwich, you can get a half of juicy delicious roast chicken with crispy skin and mmmmmmm Im drooling all over the keyboard. The sides you get are also fantastic. I love the plantains, sweet and chewy and crunchy all in one. This place arouses my passions such that only poetry will suffice to express them: Moist, flavorful bird, I have eaten you all up. Your friends will be next!

I think this is turning into an addiction. What was supposed to be an occasional eating option a few times a year has turned into a once-a-week blowout. The chicken is juicy and delicious. I love the sauces and always ask for extra yellow as the green is a little on the spicy side. Budgetwise, its not very spendy and you really get your moneys worth as they are generous with the sides. Two sides with a quarter chicken is usually pretty filling. Service is okay, depends on who is taking your order.

Fast and friendly service, good food, clean and spacious seating. I recommend the roasted chicken over the other menu items. One of the best Peruvian chicken places in Nova I think. Tried for the first time today & already excited to go back I tried the dark chicken, fried fish, pollo saltado, with sides of pasta salad, yuca, and plantains (shared with friends!) I wouldnt get fish or pollo saltado again (too salty) but rest were good. Eat yuca fast while hot!

This was recommended today by my home health aide, so I placed an order on line. I ordered the taco salad and tres leche for me, fried trout with rice and steamed veggies for my aunt with a flan, as well as 1/4 chicken with plantains for later. Well I have to say that they were amazing. Now I know why there was a line out the door. I definitely will be back. I know the 1/4 chicken and plantains will be just as amazing for dinner. Thank you.

As far as Peruvian chicken goes, this place has some of the best in the area, and thats saying something. The sides, though, really distinguish this place: huge portions, many options (they usually have about 8 sides available at any time), and tasty. You can spend about $11 on a half chicken with 2 sides, and get a filling meal for two. Theres a big lunch rush here, but the line moves fast, and Ive never had a problem getting a seat.

Authentic chicken (not like KFC and Popeyes). I usually get the burritos and there good. Only negative is since they use cut up the chicken in house, sometimes youll get small pieces of bones, cartilage (?) that you have to pick out. Busy during lunch hours (11-1) were the waiting line goes to the door. And calling ahead most of the time doesnt work since theyre busy. But overall would recommend. One of my lunchtime spots.

This chicken may be the best Ive ever tasted. I would describe it as finger licking good. Good portions on the side orders as well.The sauces are great wish you could get two of each for free rather than just one, but oh well... My only complaint its that one of the cashiers is somewhat rude. If I had to guess she was the owner or owners wife. Ive dealt with her a couple times and she seems to have an attitude each time.

Ive tried out Peruvian Chicken places all over the DC/NoVA area and this one is by far my favorite. The chicken is amazing and the sides fantastic. You can also go a little off the menu with the sides (e.g. white rice with black beans on top). Customer service is great and the workers seem to be happy. Highly recommend this place!

Some of the best chicken around, with great pricing. My office orders dinner from here pretty regularly, and we love it. They just went through a full interior redecoration, and are available on Uber Eats and Doordash, making it super convenient.
