Ive always enjoyed Indian food, so when Saaz opened in Southampton I was beyond thrilled. The buffet there is just about the greatest thing on earth, and when I go during those hours I prefer to seat myself as close to the food bar as possible for easy access. Each food container is kept hot, and they all have covers which keep the more gross patrons from coughing on the food. Theres always a satisfying selection of foods during the buffet hours. Im not sure of the proper food names since I tend to make my selections based on color, but the lamb cubes and the cheesy tofu-like chunks are my favorites. They have a couple of soup selections as well, which are useful for washing down the heavier meats. Theres usually a sweet, orange-colored dessert as well, which tastes like a high quality version of those orange gel candies that everyones grandmother loves. The staff there is always very friendly and welcoming. They even kept the buffet open a little bit later one day when I got there late with two of my cousins. With eagerness and heartfelt thanks, we cleared out the remaining buffet items. The waiters are always on top of the water refills too, which is much appreciated when the soup bowls run dry. I went there for dinner once, and while the food was much more expensive during that time, it was certainly still worth going. Ive never been disappointed with the quality of the food. The atmosphere is quiet and aesthetically pleasing, and they keep the Naan coming for as long as youre willing to pay for it. Oddly enough, Ive never been in the bathrooms there, but I imagine they are clean and well-stocked. Each time I eat there, the food makes me want to pass out right at the table. To me, thats a sure sign that the meal totally hit the spot. The weariness might make for a hazardous drive home, but its always worth the risk. They have a useful supply of toothpicks by the exit as well, so you can further distract yourself with basic dentistry practices during your drive. In all, Saaz is a terrific restaurant with great food and an amazing staff. It instantly became my go-to spot on the east end, and I always look forward to my next visit. I recommend this place to everybody I know who comes out east.

The lunch buffet is reasonably priced at under $15.00. There is a rotating selection of dishes and the restaurant is spotless with excellent attentive servers that dont hover or intrude. They also have some delicious staple dishes and vegetarian options daily that are good for the unadventurous eater, or anyone new to Indian Cuisine. The owners are wonderful and are always there to keep things running smoothly. Enjoy!

What a perfect evening. Gorgeous restaurant, friendliest staff, out of this world food, and over the top hospitality and service. Cannot wait to go back. The owner makes it a point to stop by every table to make sure that his customers are satisfied. We were so impressed with his attention to detail and desire to serve to his best ability. Thank you for the beautiful evening, Samir and Saaz!

Incredible service! The wairstaff was pleasant, couteous, and very helpful. We had the lunch buffet and there was a very nice selection of foods from meat (lamb) to eggplant to salmon. Only a small selection of desserts ( rice, vanilla and chocolate pudding) I did not order drinks but the bar appeared fully stocked. Very clean restaurant and restroom.

Wish I starting eating here earlier. Fantastic, delicious food! Staff and owner were so helpful and polite. Extremely clean and professional. So nicely decorated inside. Big portions. Best Indian food Ive had on long island and NYC. Girlfriend was so excited and wants to start eating here weekly. Thank you so much for our experience.

Sadly a bad experience, waited for our entrees for over an hour. Watched other guest who were seated after our group receive their food first. Being the only black group in the restaurant also made the experience upsetting. On the upside the manager decided to comp the appetizers but it was too little too late. I would never return.

Love, love their food. The lunch deal cant be beat. Try the Dal Makani, it is fantastic. The scallop appetizer on the dinner menu is excellent. Everything we had was delicious and the owner and staff are lovely. Have been there many times and look forward to many more meals with them.

Horrible!!! We waited more than an hour for our order and watched everyone who arrived after us get served. I couldnt help but presume that our race had everything to do with it. We are also residents in the area. Is our money not green!!!! Poor service. 5 thumbs down!

Good food. Staff is nice. Only Indian place in the Hamptons. I dont typically like Indian but the wife does. She knows more than me and says they do an excellent job with the curry. I like the kebabs and they are always very good. Fast takeout available online.

Excellent food and I was told by the bartender all sauces are made from scratch. That explains the smooth taste yet flavorful. They could use a little more salt but I guess I just like extra salt on my food.
