RM Bistro offers a whirlwind of flavors and textures for your palate to experience. Co-owner Aman is a welcoming host and his mastery of mixology is unmatched on the Island. The mango spritzer is highly recommended with or without spirits. Chefs Apar and Arun have taken the traditional Indian cuisine and transformed it into progressive dishes that will keep you coming back for more. They run a very clean and proficient kitchen. The decor and atmosphere compliment the cuisine and beverages to tie the entire experience together. We just got back from Mothers Day dinner and my family is still going, "Mmmmmm", from the journey our taste buds have returned from. Please do yourself and your palate a favor and go to RM Bistro to enjoy the best Progressive Indian Cuisine in all of New York State! The best Indian restaurant on long island just moved from Hicksville to Commack. Less convenient for me but more than worth the drive. Chefs Arun and Apar Verna need only touch the food and its better than any Indian fare that has ever passed your lips. Dont be afraid of Indian food. Dont listen to people who ate it once and ordered the wrong thing.If you dont know. Ask. Mild, medium, hot or God Im going to die. Flavors which youve never tasted will transport you to India. The only thing wrong with this place is that it will spoil you for any other Indian restaurant.

Food was amazing - wife and I couldnt stop talking about it for days. The service was friendly and we were visited by not only our waitress but the manager/host, head chef AND the owner. All came over at different points in the night to see if the food met our expectations and if there was anything that could be done to make the experience better. We were thanked numerous times. Service aside, the food was incredible and we already cant wait to come back!

I am not one to hand out 5 stars easily, but this one earns it. Having been starved of good Indian food on Long Island for years, I found this gem last night. Live Indian music, warm and knowledgeable staff, beautiful setting, and a clean environment. The story as I was to understand it, goes back to the Grandfather passing his restaurant knowledge onto his recently CIA Graduated grandson who just "Gets it".

The food here is absolutely outstanding. The lamb chops are outrageous. Staff is super friendly and helpful. If you havent tried Indian food before let this be your first experience. Absolute must try!
