Good food, terrible service. Had an awful experience there on Mothers Day where they refused our reservation because they were at capacity. The pair of 8 year-old kids working the front desk stated they could not honor the reservation, and, instead of being apologetic, the owners son came out and yelled at us, saying that they would have never accepted a reservation (they did, we even called back to verify the next day), and told us that we would have to take a number and wait in the queue. The food is good, but well never go there again.

Good Dim Sum, Terrible Service! The restaurant gets extremely busy on Sunday during lunch hours, and if you get placed at a bad table, you can expect to wait 15+ minutes between plates!! The owners dont seem very friendly and the wait staff is not helpful at all. Food is tasty but they do use MSG. Unfortunately theres no real competition in Rochester area so dont expect service to improve anytime soon.

Great food, one of the very few places to get dim sum meals in rochester and Im not talking about the dim sum foods where you order from a menu and wait for it to be cooked, Im talking about dim sum meals where they actually walk around with carts and you get to see and choose your foods, thats how dim sum should be. They also have an actual menu to order your traditional Chinese meals

Phenomenal place! I go here every time Im back in town and it never disappoints. Salt and peppered squid and sesame chicken are out of this world. I live in Colorado and of the minimum 15 places for Chinese Ive tried, theyve been disgusting and are not tolerable to eat. Take advantage of places around here and get your Chinese from these folks.....you wont be disappointed.

Rochester is not a city with many options for Asian food. When I lived there many years ago, at the old location, it could have been argued that Cantonese House was the best Cantonese food in the city. In the new location this weekend, we were all disappointed by the dim sum. They may still be the best in town, but its not really recommended.

Speak from a Chinese myself, if you want to try authentic Chinese food, come here! Food here unlike most Chinese food I have tried in the states which are Americanized and very salty. A Chinese grocery shop is next to the restaurant. Also the decoration of the place is kind of outdated, and dimly lit, the waitress was friendly.

Very authentic Cantonese Dishes and Dim Sum, which may mean a lot of Americans would be put off by it.But if you want real, non bastardized Cantonese Food, this is the place to go in Rochester. They also have a good if somewhat small Chinese Grocery .

Its definitely not as good as it used to be when it was near the corner of Winton and Jefferson. They need to change the oil they fry in more often. The people are wonderful and the customers are mostly Chinese, which is always a very good sign.

Dim sum on Sundays can get a bit crowded so make sure to get there early or you might not have a table for a while. Food is made fresh and walked around in carts. Also has a grocery store attached to it.
