I was going to the bagel store next door but when I saw the Shake Shack I figured something new so Ill try it. I got up to the menu and felt the prices were expensive ($5.49 for a shake) but what the heck, Ill try it anyway and hopefully I get what I pay for. I got up to the counter and Charlie was very courteous and greeted me with a smile. He must have seen my eyes wide open as I checked out the menu and asked me if everything was okay and if I was ready to order and I said yes and I cant wait to taste the food because its very expensive so Im expecting quality. He asked the manager to come over and said that we have a customer who is concerned about the quality and he immediately gave me a complimentary lunch! I told him I promise Im not complaining its just that it seemed pretty expensive. My meal would have came out to over $15. I thought that was very nice of them and they said all they want is my opinion once were done. Well, the Sheikh was great although I would have liked it a little thicker just personal preference, the burger was very tasty and Im a sucker for potato bread so check on that, the tomatoes were the smaller sweeter Tomatoes so why was fine with that and the lettuce was a little sliver so I told him I wish there would have been a little bigger piece of lettuce. The burger was a small size burger like a junior cheeseburger at Burger King. I expected a bigger Burger. The fries were good but I felt I got the bottom of the bunch because they were little Nubs but they were not too salty and not too bland. They put cheese on it and half way through eating them the cheese was gone so I told them they should put a little more cheese on it because another customer complains about the same thing while I was talking to him. Overall, not impressed and since this area is full of Doctors that come over here for lunch they should be fine. The cows were not tortured in the making of these Burgers according to Charlie and the potatoes may not have been tortured or bruised one being pulled out of the ground. LOL that was me. It was good but not somewhere I would go all the time. Sorry for the book but I wanted you to really get a gist of my experience. Enjoy!

Had shake shack in the city and Carle Place. I felt like both were a bit of a zoo.I was worried this one would be too, but thankfully it wasnt (I went at 7:30pm on Friday). Came with my 11 yr old son and all he kept saying was "this place is quality" thanks to the decor, ingredients, and most importantly, free WiFi. Burgers were good (slightly pink inside, natch). Vanilla shake was like stick a tub of Haagen Daaz in a blender and voila. So you know what to expect in terms of cost and food, but with a more relaxed, local neighborhood, vibe. -1 star because frankly I could have gotten 2 Wendys 4 for $4 for the price of a burger and fries.

I usually stop by this location when I visit the mall. The service is always good. Today Friday 10/4 I was dining with my two toddlers and my double stroller. I was hungry and overwhelmed and JEANIE was working in the dining area was so helpful helped me find a booth to sit and got me some water and asked KAI (who was also working there ) to bring my food. I really was blown away by their patience. They really made sure I felt like a guest at Shake Shack! Thank you guys you made my day and the kids loved the ice cream with sprinkles.

Ive gone once, and I dont think Id go again. The location is fine, the staff is also fine and friendly. The only issue is that the price is high compared to other fast food places and the portions arent that great. Its more of a fad than anything else. Shakes only come in one size and are way too overpriced to justify that size and the burgers are mediocre compared to some other places. Its basically the Starbucks of the fast food world without the variety that Starbucks offers.

Oh how I love thee. Fills up for lunch and dinner, though they have many seating options, its just so popular. Faves are the shack burger and chicken shack. Dont care for the cheese fries but I like the white cheese on the side. I think its seasonal. Strawberry milk shake is to DIE for but if youre in luck, and its being offered, and feel like being wrapped in a warm velvety blanket of chocolate deliciousness, give the brownie batter hot chocolate a go. Seriously, divine.

They messed up my order and didnt give me the burger I ordered. I told them I ordered a burger as well and he turned around as if he was going to make/get one for me. Waited 20 minutes while eating my custard and never got my burger. Then I asked whats up with the burger and he said he had to go check. I walked out, burger-less. Will not be going back to this location again. The one by the mall is the best one even though the line is out the door.

food was incredible! Manager came over and had a great conversation with my friend and I. When I told him that Shake Shack didnt exist in Indiana, he gave me a malt whitman on the house. Manager was such an awesome guy and the food was sensational. Definitely will come back when I visit New York again. 5/5!

First and last time..a cheeseburger $5,59, plain hot dog $3,39 and 2 shakes about $11,30 . the cheeseburger look just like the one from Wendys, the hot dog its bigger and much better at Nathans and the shakes are good but for the size not worth the price. Too expensive for low quality and size meal.

First time at SS but not the last. Assistant Manager Paige was so helpful, helped my friend and I find a seat as it was very crowded. Burger was great, shake was amazing! Told her it was my first time, gave me a complimentary shake for my next visit! Great customer service! Excellent experience!

Its not that great a deal. I can understand if you particularly like the burger style from Shake Shack, but the nearby Smashburger gives much more food for the same price. I find the burgers there less oily and more defined, while Shake Shack gives a very oily, cheesy and sticky kind of burger.

I didnt believe the hype until I finally was able to set foot in a SS and now I am a believer! If youre looking for faster service try going during the weekday, especially before the dinner rush. Their burgers and fries arent too shabby but as in the restaurants name, the shakes are dynamite!

The shakes are awesome. Each h week they come out with a seasonal regional flavor. For NY in the fall they had an Apple Crumble shake. Currently, there is a Peppermint and Chocolate Shake, and a Pumpkin Shake for October. Everything else is first rate, buy the shakes are from another planet!

I went to shake shack during my lunch break and the manager Philip was friendly and attentive. He asked if everything was ok and if we were satisfied and we were joking with him. He made is feel welcome and we were very happy with the service. I recommend this location!
