We went into the restaurant in Clifton Park at 9:15 at night. The parking lot was less than half full. We were greeted by hostess Dominique and told there would be a bit of a wait, which prompted the question... really? Your not busy at all, are you short staffed? "No", was the reply. My wife then asked if we could just get a seat in the bar to avoid the wait, and we were told, "NO, there would be a bit of a wait to sit in the bar!" I have NEVER been to any restaurant that doesnt want a patron to sit in the bar if there would be a wait. (We might have spent money) It was pretty clear that she did not want to seat us after not wanting to seat us in the bar, so we left! I called back to ask for the manager, and was put on hold by the hostest that "greeted" us for over 6 minutes. I called back and they didnt answer the phone for over a minute and a half! I was told that the manager Peter was busy cooking, and that he would call me back as soon as he was free by another person "Trish, or Tricia" who identified herself as another manager. I never received a return call! We are a middle aged professional, clean cut couple around 50 years old. There would be no reason to not seat us! WE USED TO GO TO THIS RESTAURANT SEVERAL TIMES A MONTH and they have always been accommodating, but sadly WE WILL NOT BE GOING BACK after tonight! I will not be using my RR REWARDS CARD AND WILL BE SENDING THE CARD BACK TO CORPORATE WITH AN EXPLANATION OF WHY WE WILL NOT BE NEEDING IT ANY LONGER.

Went to Red Robin on a busy Friday night, waited like 15 minutes for a table and ended up at a high top in the bar. My only complaint is that the table we were seated at was pretty much directly in the line of traffic. Tarsha was our server, and it took my a few minutes to realize she was also one of 2 bartenders on. So no only did she handle the bar, she also handled a handful of tables....and did so with a great attitude and a smile. We never waited for refills on drinks, our order went in and came out quickly, easy cooked well and tasted delicious. We never felt like we were abandoned, even on a crazy busy Friday night. Overall, the experience was wonderful. But thats not abnormal....our experiences at this Red Robin have always been above average.

We didnt have to wait to be seated, and it was a Sunday, which can sometimes be a busy day. The servers were attentive with refilling drinks, but also not TOO attentive which can be its own problem.The food was good and hot, and the varieties seemed endless, just like the steak fries which are bottomless. Bottomless steak and sweet potato fries are a nice perk in a world that always seems to want to charge you for every little sauce and add-on. As far as chains go, you cant go wrong with Red Robin.

Bottomless fries are great if you actually get some. We waited 25 minutes for 12 fries in a basket for 5 people. The kids and adult chicken strips meal prices are outrageous, which the manager said is because of the "bottom less" fries. The waitress was not very prompt or polite. After getting our drinks and small basket of fries, 30 minutes later we decided we were waiting no more, paid for our drinks and went to Grecian gardens down the road where the atmosphere and service were much better.

This is a favorite place for my wife who has Celiacs and cant find much good food around Clifton Park. The waitresses are always very friendly. I love their garlic fries. And she enjoys their lettuce wrapped items. Im pretty sure they have a gluten free but but gluten free stuff is always so dry and flavorless that she doesnt want to ruin good food with it.

The food is always fresh and delicious! The last time I went they had a new appetizer, the Great Northern Poutine Fries. Although a little pricey at $9, it is quite large. I was eating alone, and took more than half of it home for lunch the next day. I also think their loyalty (Reds Royalty) Club is one of the best Ive ever been part of!

They have a tower of onions need I say more... but I will. One of the few places that cooks burgers the way you ask. The wait staff is awesome and its always kid friendly. One star off because I hate those digital game centerpieces they put on the table. It makes the kids turn into zombies rather than talk, but thats my preference.

This is one of my familys favorite places to go. The staff is kind, and the total price is about on par with Friendlys or other comparable diners. Try and get one of the booths in the way back, that avoids an awkward seating assignment and significantly enhances the experience.

Great allergy menu app that lets you pick the best meal option, and offers comprable substitute items to replace what you must do without! Plus the bottomless sweet potato fries are fantastic! I recommend getting the campfire sauce to go along with it!

Free Bday burger, whats not to love, had the Sir Acha Tavern Dbl. Only gripe I had, waitress didnt ask if I wanted more bottomless fries, or an ice tea refill, which I wanted neither, but would have been nice to ask, otherwise she was great!

Great for families on a budget looking for a few burgers to eat. The service at this site has always been pretty good. It does occasionally get busy to the point where you may be waiting to be seated for a substantial amount of time.

My husband and I go here all the time when we are in the area. Wish there was one in Plattsburgh,N.Y. Took our son, he had the mac& cheese burger he said that it was so good. And the prices are reasonable.

Juicy delicious burgers, we come here often. I love the Royal Red Robin burger, with an egg on top! Heads up, a recent to-go order took 37 minutes, it was placed at 6:15. Was told 15-20 on the phone.

Always call ahead to see how long the wait is (usually at least 25 minutes). Food can take a little long, but the bottomless fries make up for it.
