There is little good about this restaurant. It is the same food as any other indian restaurant, but the prices are horrible. Not only you pay around $20 for the most regular dish, you also pay $8 for a small bowl of rice ($8 for rice!? are they for real!?). The service is OK, the speed is also OK. When we said we werent interested in their napkins that they offer in the end of your meal, that smelled hard of detergent the waiter started complaining that everybody uses it. Well if everybody wants their hands smell like detergent, what can I say...

I have only been to the Bukhara weekend brunch. I find this place pretty expensive if you order a la care, but the brunch buffet is a phenomenal value. There is something for everyone and you always leave stuffed and in desperate need of nap. The best items in the buffet are the grilled paneer and grilled vegetable and the chat station. There are also 2 types of dessert! It is one of the pricier indian buffets that Ive been to, but believe me it is well worth it. The quality is definitely top notch.

Server was very rude. Secondly we ordered a roomali roti and it came out completely dry and rubbery. On complaining the server informed us that this item does not get ordered and he was aware it would be inedible!!!!!! We said okay get us a garlic naan instead and they got a plain naan saying the garlic naan was a dollar more !!!!! Overall service was extremely poor. The two stars is for the daal and garlic naan which was very good. Expensive for the experience they offered

Id give it 10 stars if I could. We only go there for their daal , paratha and acharya chicken- delicious! The staff is extremely friendly & recommend the right items and quantity. Their cocktails and wines arent great but that;s not what we go there for. Never been there when we havent received complimentary dishes or havent enjoyed our food. Its definitely expensive so save it for special days. Oh and the buffet is to due for! Go starving to be able to do justice to it

Service was just fine. Was checked on often and water refilled and never empty. As with most Indian places its not the cheapest but it was definitely better than any Indian restaurants where I live. It may be a touch dark inside but not a real complaint. The naan bread was the size of a bedsheet! The spice level was right on like I wanted. I was comforted by the fact that we were surrounded by many fine Indian diners. Go here!

Overrated, over priced, and super pushy! I will not be back. Servers constantly trying to upsell more food than you need. They brought an additional Garlic Naan even after I specifically asked them not to….and then charged me for it. The food was good, but not great, for the price. Also, the interior of the restaurant is dated. No wonder the place was half empty…even Friday night during New Year’s Eve weekend.

The best of the best NYC has to offer. Never disappoining, always on point. Whether youre new to indian food or just an average indian who wants great tasting food like you would find in India, this is the place to be. Bukhara Grill recently catered my wedding back in June and i was floored with the professionalism, kindness and guidance Raja provided. Im a loyalist and will be coming there for years to come.

Rudest staff ever! Server was very unprofessional! We had to wait for our cutleries for about 10 minutes before we can start eating! And then when they brought the spoons! He put spoons right in our plates. Instead of putting next to our plates! Took them and 10 min to get next round of Water. All the server were chatting on the corner. Food was just about okay but that doesnt even count If service is so bad!

I happened to visit this place on feb 14. I preffered ala carte. I had lots of expectation after looking at the reviews on google. However, to my surprise I had worst feeling ever. The food was served very late biryani was cooked with excess meat and masala in it. The prices here are much higher than other restaurants in nyc. Ambience is fine the staff is good. The food was far below my expectation.

I was dining alone, and just had a starter, one main course dish with a naan and two beers, and the bill came to $70 including service - the beers were $12 each! Thats over £40 in total at the current exchange rate - for Indian food for one! The quality was good, and this was probably the only decent meal I had during my weeks stay in New York, but Ive had better in London for half this price.

Delicious food!! Impeccable service! You get exactly what you pay for. The staff was super sweet. We were a party of 9 and they were able to accommodate us last minute. We also got there late closer to their closing time but they didnt rush us out of there. Very satisfied with the quality of the food, the ambiance and the service. Will definitely be going back again soon!

I loved Bukhara Grill Catering. I got married in May in Atlanta, and hired them for catering my wedding. I have to say they did the most amazing job. The presentation of the food was modern and appealing. The food was great! We had so many people come up to us and tell us that was the best food they ever had at a wedding. I would highly recommend them for an event!

What an amazing Indian restaurant! I was brought here by my Indian friend and he highly recommended here for their lunch buffet. For $17, you can have all these amazing Indian dishes from Nann bread, grilled Chicken tikka, goat stew to desserts. For me, that is a great value and you are guaranteed to have a good time here with a glass of Taj Mahal beer!

Came here for a late lunch after celebrating my first Holi festival nearby. They had a buffet lunch special for $16.95 and it was a pretty good selection of food. I counted at least 5 different currys chicken and lamb a plenty, rice, stuff with chick peas, stuff that was spicy and stuff that was not too spicy. Not a bad deal for the area.

Overpriced? - yes Good food - Definitely ! As a avid foodie, I have been to several restaurants. I am a vegetarian and dread going to an indian( desi) restaurant as they have very few options ( and I can cook most of the food at home ) But, this place surprised me. I loved the variety they had, and everything we ordered.

I loved the restaurant s selection of food and it was really flavorful. This felt really like authentic indian food I have had back in India. Although prices are high. I wont mind paying it if the quality is such with tender and juicy chicken. I went with my Filipino friends and they loved it too.

One of the authentic indian cusines in this area...the food is great, easy on the palate and decor is also appealing. I have eaten the buffet at this place, it is always so crowded and people often have to wait at the door too but its worth the wait. definitely will come back for more. :)
