Lets start with the good since it wont take as long. The dining room is well lit and the decor isnt over the top. There are a couple of TVs to distract you while you wait an absurd amount of time for your food, of which may not even show up. The sushi bar looks quite nice and clean, and the waitress was nice when she decided to visit our table. Now for the bad. As I stated before, the wait times for food are unacceptable. We are a table of 2 and waited over an hour and a half for the full order. The food is good, but it tends to end up at the wrong table more times than not. The manager (maybe the owner?) has close to no people skills and didnt do anything to help the situation. We got up to leave and he became confrontational. I understand that places have bad nights, but he had the balls to say "if you knew anything about running a restaurant, youd know that its not easy." Thats rich coming from a guy who obviously has no clue himself. The only reason Im giving this place 2 stars is that the food that actually made it to the table was good. If you have 5 hours to wait for 2 rolls, then this is the place for you. If not, stay away.

Best sushi I ever had! It is an all you can eat place, not a traditional buffet. You get two order sheets, one is a sushi menu the other a kitchen menu. The sushi menu has sushi, sashimi, special rolls, as well as classic rolls. The kitchen menu is longer that any other all you can eat menus that other retaurants have. The lunch buffet is $14.00 and the weekday is $21.99, weekends 23.99. This place has some unique items like Kalbi that others do not. The Papper Salmon is outrageous! They have this stuffed tuna sashimi aappetizer called a Cherry Blossom I would recommend. The Spicy Seeweed Salad is awesome! They have menu items like chicken or shrimp yakitori or chicken wings that is great for kids. If you do not like the all you can eat or sushi you can order Hibachi ala carte. The ala carte menu offers a whole line of asian fusion as well as teriyaki and tempura. The place does sell wine however you are allowed to BYOB! Atmosphere is great they have TVs, wifi and their own parking lot.

I went to Teaneck Sushi last night (2/27/2017) my family and I had a very bad experience. I understand it was sunday and it was 830PM when they close at 10PM. The staff was friendly, but did not pay us any attention. We ordered our first batch of sushi and couldnt get the attention of my server let alone any other workers in the restaurant so that we can order more sushi!!! I had to get up and get the paper to order.... I love dragon rolls, but the ones that were served to me were very scary to eat as i had to keep picking out the eel bones... the GYOZA/dumplings were very oily and big designed to fill you up... When i needed the check I also had to get to to get the attention of the staff... It was very surreal I thought my it was a joke. The staff was busy cleaning and to close the store the entire time we were there. I love sushi buffets but I do not reccomend this place. Food and service needs work....

I came here to try out the lunch buffet and I was not disappointed. They give you 2 slips of paper that is filled with items for their lunch menu and a blank space is provided next to the food item where you can check off the number of items you want. Next the waiter or waitress takes those slips and provide you with your food. The sushi was impeccable and the vegetable tempura was perfect. I have no complaints with the food I had ordered and was completely satisfied with the service and portion size. There were television screens around the restaurant to keep your eyes and ears entertained and there were plenty of tables with several seats to choose from. This place is good for dates or celebrations and you can really enjoy the food and environment. I also loved the fact that none of my items were forgotten! Everything I ordered was delivered to my table in a timely manner! I love this place!

Worst experience Ive ever had at a restaurant. They served us undercooked dumplings and old pork ribs and brown lettuce in the salad. Im pregnant so I need to be careful about the freshness of the food I eat and have never had this issue at any other place I have gone for sushi. I also politely asked if I could get the Salman in my roll cooked because I cant eat raw fish. They didnt bother to check and served me it regardless when I could have chosen another roll to order. There was dirt also in my glass of iced tea and in the glass of water. We asked to speak to a manager and he was very rude as well insisting that we pay for food that we couldnt even eat without getting sick. Never again will I go to this poor excuse for a sushi place. Pathetic. If you want a safe dining experience I dont suggest stepping foot anywhere near the establishment

I have been to this Sushi Buffet many times thinking it was just a off day for the restaurant. Every time I go there, the service is pretty bad. They want you to take their $23.99 Buffet deal for everyone that comes and if someone doesnt take it and another person in your party takes it, they make the person who didnt get the Buffet deal wait 10 minutes + to receive their food after the people who got the food with the Buffet Deal. The waiters do not particularly understand english very well. They are not too friendly but it is the owners responsibility to teach their staff how to operate at a friendly manner.. I will say, i would not be coming back here again. Very disappointing. They do not even get the orders right. When you order 6+ things, they barely bring out 4 of the items you order.

Not the best service. We didnt order the buffet and to the shock of our waiter went instead for the sushi off of the menu. The biggest problem was that the owners of the restaurant intentionally send out the food slowly one or two plates at a time. This is so people who order the buffet dont over eat. I guess thats fine for people ordering the buffet but we had ordered off of the menu and were expecting everything to be served at once. Unfortunately took 50 mins for us to get all of our 6 dishes. By the time the lasts two dishes arrived we had tired of the waiting 10-15 mins between dishes. Didnt make for a pleasant experience.

Just received delivery after 2 hours. The man who answered when I called to inquire said he could not talk because he was getting other calls.. Boba tea was warm and watery, the General TSO chicken was cold and hard, the broccoli was soggy. The first time I ordered (when they opened) it was the same bad ciustomer service and food. He refused to give me money back then so I wont bother calling now. My teenage daughter said all her HS hates the place. My mistake to try again. I should have written review first time to save people money and time. I hope this really helps.
