Heard that this place was ok. So went with my family to try to BBQ. The initial plates ordered were pretty average for what is on their selection. After we got our meats and other proteins the hot plate was fired up and we started cooking. Well actually it took a long time to cook our food as it seems that the hot plate was not that hot. Most of the food took too long to cook and was raw on inside and burnt on the outside. I guess we took a long time to cook our food, so they removed the hot plate and used a metal grate with holes instead. But the food did cook a bit faster at first but got burnt very quickly as the fire was direct on the food. Overall I paid over $110 with discounts for 4 people and felt like I needed to buy some chinese take out with rice to get full. Maybe the hotpot we be better. If you want to BBQ, going to a real flushing Korean restaurant with better bbq equipment is worth it. Also why would they have a menu with food on certain pages which is available to their flushing location only? Why dont they print a menu for their Elmhurst location, to avoid confusing customers to save a few buck?

I came here with my mother during lunch on a weekend. The way it works is that you choose hotpot or bbq (or both). The cost irrc also increases in this order. We did the hotpot. You get the food by telling the waiter/waitress the stuff you want on the menu. Except for some meats, most items on the menu are included in the price. This includes a bunch of basic meats and I think most vegetables. There are a lot of ingredient types on the menu for hotpot. However the quality of the meat leaves a lot to be desired. The meat just looks...frozen, and do not impart a sense of freshness. The vegetables are okay as they look fresh enough. Service was decent. They actually come around asking if we want more stuff, pretty frequently. Given the cost of this place ($25+ per person), I would expect much higher quality. There are cheaper places around with better food.

I like this place .. but the last time we were there.. everything was in first 10 mins until the hostess tell us if we could finish around 7pm (it was 6 when she came to our table) because they have 17 people reservation at 7 , and they were gonna use our table (we were only 2 but they sat us in 6 people table because we want to try their bbq). So i asked her "are you kicking us out at 7?!" She was like .. no im just asking .. and then after a few minutes later she said .. "oh nevermind you guys can stay" . As we are sitting trying to enjoy our meal, we feel disappointed by the service . Around 640 the waiter came to our table and give us the check we didnt even ask for it. WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT!!!

I went there several times, but not any more. The lettuce came with root, the food I ordered was less than I expected, and, when I leave, a female waiter asked me to explain why I only paid the 10% tip. Excuse me?What makes you so confident?Would you pay a higher tip?Or does it can be defined as tip?I do not care about a few bucks, I care about my feelings. Do not go there.

The service was Fantastic and the food was just as great. The chef Dong, saw that we wasnt familiar with the hotpot and BBQ thing and he helped us out tremendously. I love that we can mix our sauce to find our perfect taste. The atmosphere was great, Good music, it was absolutely amazing. Thank you for a great last minute late dinner date. Will definitely be coming back again!

Overall comfortable hot pot style dining experience with individual pots and lots of room to spread out. Love the update to selection and translations and triilingual servers and foodrunners who were friendly. Sauce island had limited options but was still open, clean and abundant in volume and bottles so there is never a queue but added to overall decor.

Icook is a good option for lunch M-F. You get a good meal for the price. It is pretty standard fare for hotpot. You pick a soup base, meat or seafood and you get a selection of vegetables. I usually go with the herbal soup and fatty beef. The selection isnt huge, possibly because it is normally AYCE.

New Hotpot Restaurant. A little disappointed at this place - the service could be a little better and the food quality could be better. Since the opening - all other customers were disappointed in some way and now its pretty empty. They need to make sure to get the order correct.

A lot of variety of options for your all-you-can-eat BBQ or hotpot. There are meats, veggies, and seafood. The self-serving sauce station is also nice, so you can customize your sauce to exactly what you want.

Really nice place to eat and maximise your value vs cost, an expenditure. But the only problem: theres no takeout. Unless you tell them you are leaving some for your god you believe in.

Great for hot pot at any point in the day- even late at night! All you can eat for one price, and the food is clean and fresh. I recommend the half and half broth for hot pot.

A nice find in the middle of Elmhurst. Pretty cool to have a AYCE hot pot, Korean BBQ, or both. Unless you are REALLY that hungry, go with one only. Thats a lot of food.

Its all you can eat but with limited variety and average food quality. No wonder this place is half empty most of the time.

Hotpot is OK, while the BBQ menu has got the most featured and highly demanded stuff out of order, say, no kabab.

Belly busting hot pot and korean BBQ buffet. Its worth a shot if you live around the area. Price seems fair.
