Feeling hungry for more food? Dragon buffet is by-far, one of the most popular buffet places in the Capital District of NY. The place has everything from Chinese food to some selections on American food, Sushi, and they also have a Mongolian Grill. The Mongolian Grill is all you can eat as well, but just one bowl of their noodle soup already fills you up. Everything looks fresh, especially the Mongolian Grill, since they make the dish right in front of you. My plan is always go for the hot food first, then the sweets, and then fruits to end the day. If you come here, make sure to bring your loose pants, because you will be doing some serious eating. For under $10, you can stuff your face as much as you like during lunch time, and dinner is less than $15, so this place is not to shabby if you ask me. If you know you will have a large group, this would be the place to bring them. They’ll thank you later for inviting them and they would be coming here again.

My best advice is dont go here. Im pretty easy to please and not against buffets, in fact I have been to several other Asian style buffets in the past few months. thinking that they are all possibly similar we tried Dragon Buffet. Well, its clean, and variety is good...the sushi rolls are good to be fair but the rest of the buffet food...terrible. Its not the flavor thats bad its the grease. Soooooo much grease. Everything and I mean nearly every cooked item is saturated with more oil than I or my dining partner could tolerate. First bite, not bad...tolerable...maybe even good...but it got so overwhelming that we were actually feeling sick on the ride home. Not from the quality of bad food...from the grease. I recommend you skip this place entirely...and I dont trash restaurants normally, in fact I have never even written a review before.

Just came back from this dirty place. They seem to have the workers who dont speak English live up stairs and in those motels in the back. I looked in the kitchen and saw disgusting refrigerated items that were sitting on the floor. This place is so dirty. I dont know why the health department has not been there to shut them down. They have people who dont speak English. How did they get her from China if they cant speak English. The food is either soaked in fatty grease or so dry because it was re used from days before. They leave food out for days in the back and do not clean the cooking area. I hope the state looks into the conditions of this place and the illegal Chinese working here. Dont support this place. Nothing good at all about it

Visited on a Sunday just before 2pm. I think it was $12 for the all day Sunday price. Me and my friend were lucky to get there just before 3 or 4 tour bus groups showed up. Good food, lots of it, and most trays were replaced quickly. Frog legs really do taste like chicken! Tiny sushi- didnt try it but it looked liked everyone else did. Hibachi line was long so i didnt try that, either. Better than expected. Also, their sign on the Central Ave. side was taken down so we almost thought it was closed, but it all looks normal on the side.

LOVE this place. For $11/person for dinner, you got the standard buffet items, small crab legs, small raw oysters (not too fresh), sushi, Mongolian grill, Cantonese noodles, Chinese Congee, and probably steaks (grilled to order). It far exceeded my expectation! However, the servers were a bit slow to take away my plates and refill my soda. I ate at this buffet over 5 years ago. I was traveling through the area again and this place did not disappoint me! Good job! Highly recommended!

The best Chinese food buffets in the Capital District. Food is good quality. 80% of the buffet never changes, so if you like the food you get there, there is a good chance it is there when you go back. Chef also makes dishes for you with your ingredients (usually referred to as a Mongolian grill) and they also have good sushi. Wait staff it typical of the place, they arent always asking you if you need anything, but take care of your drinks when they need it.

Food is so terrible here, I seen a staff member sneeze and cough purposely into the food. There is a creepy old hotel that is behind this place that illegals are probably housed. I had food poisining after eating here and I called and they told me to go to hell. Please DO NOT GO here.... Unless you want food poison and to pay ridiculously high prices for terrible disgusting old food.

Went yesterday with my parents and girlfriend seemed like the food looked good, until I bit into a frozen stuffed mushroom. Stomached my way through my food and the very next day had the shakes and shivers. Couldnt stop going to the bathroom and throwing up. Terrible time never had such a bad expirence or got so sick from eating Chinese rate 1/5 stars will never go back again.

The food wasnt TO bad, but they sat is right next to were they dumped the food and trash and just left it there. one of the employees stepped on some rice and wiped it of right next to us. I SWEAR that it smelled SO bad that he wanted to just walk out without paying. It was 3 people and it costed $44. THAT WAS THE WORST FEELING EVER

DONT NOT GO HERE!!! They have moldy old food here. Also no one speaks English and they have a weird motel were they house the workers. If you want to become very sick with no refrigerator food then go here otherwise I would stay away. I did get very sick here and saw a worker use their bare hands to mix the rice

Cheap and lots of good food. Dont expect anything gourmet here. Many of the dishes are fried, but there are still many healthy options. Vegetarian options are also available. In short, a huge selection of dishes and all you can eat for a very low price ($7.99, kids for $4.99, under 2 free).

Its OK the lunch and dinner menu are the same which is boring for 11.49 a person EHHH. Waiters and waitresses look bored being measure I almost feel bad for them yet they are attentive however. If your in the mood for your regular run of the mill cover buffet its not bad

One of the best Chinese buffets in Upstate NY. Great selection, fresh food, friendly folks. Sufficient choices for vegetarians, especially if you ask the sushi chef to make some that way. No ice cream, but they have a very good selection of other desserts.
