Last night I received the worst $5.50 blizzard ever! NOT TO MENTION IT WAS A SMALL FOR THAT PRICE!!!! So being that I am pregnant and love chocolate I figured I would get a peanut butter cup blizzard with just extra hot fudge on top that I knew they would charge extra for but I didnt care. Until, I got to the window and saw that it was the tiniest cup Ive ever seen and one squirt of hot fudge even though I paid for extra. I then politely asked for a little more hot fudge because there was barely any on my blizzard. The girl takes my cup back and tips it upside down and says see theres hot fudge on this. I was appalled. I said no maam I paid for extra. Long story short they told me no I need to pay an additional charge even though I explained I already payed for extra hot fudge. I felt treated like such crap because that is not any kind of customer service thats acceptable. They were so incredibly rude. I love how the sign outside says eat here please. Maybe if they had compitant staff people would eat there. Oh and by the way I was the only customer there so there was no reason for any kind of lack in customer service. They werent busy at all.

This is the worst place to eat ever!!! I found a metal ring inside my cheeseburger and the only reason I noticed it was because the onion fell out and thats when I saw the little metal ring I called the manager on duty that day and she was absolutely disgustingly rude it was like she didnt believe me i am totally mortified on how this was handled unbelievable how these managers nowadays treat PAYING CUSTOMERS!!!! I would absolutely NEVER recommend ANYONE to eat here not even my worst enemy!! Im seriously upset on how the manager treated me and I will never ever go there again!!!! Dairy queen is absolutely ridiculous and people should definitely CHECK their food when they buy anything from here!! This happened in the Middletown ny 10940 store!! What a shame to say the least!! I just thank God that it wasnt inside my nieces food who came with me to eat there on this particular day!! I wish their was a button where I couldnt even give one star smh!!!

Decided to give it another shot since the last time my wife and I were there was shortly after they opened in Middletown, NY. We shrugged off the first bad experience as inexperienced staff. Well, the experience hasnt changed. Tonight, we were the only customers in the store. We ordered a cone and a large sundae. After waiting for 12 minutes for our order to come out, I had to remind the girl who took our order that we were still waiting. She completely forgot us and asked to see my receipt to be reminded of what we ordered. I returned to my seat while I waited for another 3 minutes for the order to come out. The cone was fine but the sundae was a small and not a large. I decided not to make a big deal out of this because I probably would have lost it. The staff looked very disinterested in their jobs so as a result, we are disinterested in returning there.

Total chaos!!! First, we met another customer who was returning a sandwich that had a tomato on it after she told them she was allergic. Next, we placed our order, and waited, and waited and waited. Then, the tomato allergic woman walked back up to the counter saying, "They are trying to kill me!" Yes, another tomato om her sandwich. I heard her tell them she would have to go to the hospital if she ate a tomato after the first mistake and yet they did it again. We went back up to ask about our food. Oh, they forgot to make it. So, we waited some more. Then, we got our sandwiches, no fries or onion rings. I went up again when we had finished our sandwiches and after being ignored for 5 minutes a woman asked some in the back to make our onion rings. Not wanting to wait another 40 minutes we decided to leave. Chaos and dangerous!

My family and I have always loved DQ, unfortunately this DQ makes it more of a chore in getting our delightful treats than a welcoming experience. For example this evening I ordered 3 small blizzards, a medium blizzard and a PINT of plain vanilla soft serve. What I received was 3 small soupy messes, an even messier medium soup, and a medium hot fudge sundae... On multiple occasions if I have ordered fried mushrooms as well some will be cooked while others are still frozen. I try and avoid going during the busier times because it leads to even more errors. Maybe its time to hire more staff so everyone can do their job accurately.

3 strikes and Im out. Over the course of about a year, Ive come for a simple ice cream order. Very slow service, staff seems either indifferent or numb to the fact that the customers all stand around waiting and frustrated. Ordered a cone and blizzard, and the cashier was flustered, got it wrong, needed the manager to come over 2x to fix it. Waited 15 mins and went in to check on it only to find out that they only had 1 of the 2 on the ticket, and who knows how long it wouldve taken. What a shame, wont be back. Nope.

I go to the DQ in Wantage, NJ to get friendly service. Middletown...not so nice and theyre skimpy on Sundaes. Say theyre only allowed to do 8 little squirts (they call stars) of whipped cream, and small amt of ice cream too. Their prices are higher as well. I dont like the staff either. I wont go back. Id rather drive another 20 mins for a decent Sundae.

They forgot the whipped cream on my sundae and after I asked for it again... the girl laughed with the other worker and shut the drive thru window on me and then they closed for the night. Geez...

I dont visit DQ often but I found the food enjoyable. The staff was courteous although I feel we might have confused the clerk with our family order. I would visit again if I were in the area.

Ice cream took forever, orders were incorrect, blizzard was not turned upside down, ice cream had obviously be sitting out because it was melting all over, no napkins were given to us.

Slow service. We got told AFTER ordering that they didnt have chocolate ice cream No apology. We then waited 20 minutes for 2 cones, 1 blizzard and a shake. No sorry for waiting.
