I’ve been going to Asian Delite for as long as they’ve been open. Although my family usually opts for take-out, this past week I stopped in with a few friends to eat inside. I hadn’t gotten much sushi there before, but I saw they had a new special: a ‘tuna dumpling.’ I have always eaten their fried dumplings so I figured I’d give it a shot. When it came to the table, I was blown away. It wasn’t a dumpling with tuna on the inside; the entire outside of the dumpling was a giant piece of raw tuna! Oh man, if you have ever enjoyed a spicy tuna roll anywhere in your life, get that dumpling. The inside had some spicy sauce, a little bit of mango, along with some other goodies I don’t remember; it was fantastic. We also tried the Pink Lady roll; which had tuna, avocado, and some other things. It was fantastic and came with HUGE pieces, much bigger than the rolls I’m used to seeing. As for the Chinese food, I usually get one of three things: Chicken and Broccoli, Giao Yen Shrimp, or General Tso’s Chicken. The Giao Yen Shrimp is my favorite, and I usually get that. There is not a thick sauce on it like a lot of other Chinese dishes, but they somehow add some extra flavor to make it taste great. Sometimes the General’s sauce is a little too much for me to handle, and there are hot peppers all throughout it. The Chicken and Broccoli, however, has never disappointed. It’s also great the next day out of the refrigerator, which is why my family always gets at least an order of it. As for the person who left the review saying the food was garbage and overpriced, give it a rest. You may have picked a bad dish, but their menu is currently HUGE, you can in no way judge a restaurant with such a large menu on a single dish. As for the prices, move out of the area if you’re going to complain about them. You wrote that post in 2009, when Somerset County was the 9th wealthiest county in the entire country. How did you expect to get an entree for LESS than 15 dollars? There are two things that I think the restaurant would be better with. One, is the addition of booths. Although the tables are spaced far enough away from each other that a neighbors conversation wont bother you, I always like to sit in booths when I go to restaurants. The second, is their website. It is pretty poor, and hasnt been updated in a while. And on top of that, there is an X-rated site with almost the same name. Make sure you search for “Asian Delite” and not “Asian Delight”. TL;DR Get the tuna dumpling!

I recently moved to the Bernardsville area and had a craving for Chinese food one night last week. Since Asian Delight is the only Chinese Restaurant in twenty miles, I decided to give them a try. I placed a telephone order for Mongolian beef and picked it up fifteen minutes later. I was suprised to find that the charge for a regular order was 15 dollars. But I paid without complaint figuring the Mongolian beef might have been a Chef Special or something...It wasnt. When I returned hom and unloaded the portion onto my plate, I found that there wasnt much Mongolian beef to be found in my order, it was mostly noodles. Ever worse, the food was disgusting. Im took dog food. I consumed all of four forkful and put the "food" exactly where it belonged, it the trash can. I will never eat this this pig stall again. It was awful.

I have gone to this place for years and it has been awesome every time.The food is excellent and is a perfect portion size for me. The one thing that holds this place back is the decor and that there is no delivery. If this place upped the interior design to make it more upscale, I would take a date there. Delivery is a must in Bernardsville. Since there are no true delivery service in the area (other than some pizza places) and they are missing a huge opportunity !

My family and I have been frequenting this restaurant for over a decade and I personally have not encountered any problems with quality of food or service. Asian Delite offers a comprehensive menu that suits many tastes. Calling in for a pick-up order is easy and the dining experience in the restaurant goes smoothly. All in all, Asian Delite is a great option for people looking for quality Asian food at reasonable cost. Enjoy!

I dont know where some of these other people went to eat, but the Asian Delite in the Kings shopping center has always had great food. I have eaten here multiple times, and have never been unsatisfied. Also, the fried dumplings are the way to go.
