Real rating 3.5 - Anyways the one reviewer got it right - good food good service but not a sit-down joint. Food-wise I love their dumplings and lemon chicken, but most everything is good. Now its no place to write home about - but if you live in the area and have a craving this is the place to go. Heres how I feel - I lived in Denville by Hunan Taste Chinese Restaurant - big place, with amazing decor and vibe. However not the best food and way over-priced. Hunan is small building thats nothing pretty to look at it but good prices and food. Thankfully I dont order food based on the building :)

My husband picked up lunch for us at work one afternoon and forgot the silverware and sauces. He drove back over within 5 minutes and when he was taking his silverware, etc the woman in the back came running our screaming, I mean SCREAMING "Thief! Thief!" My husband is a highly successful, well respected Hispanic business owner; excellent reputation. Never EVER again. Food is terrible also. Very greasy

Dingy space, no table service, and poor food. Just brought home a container of white rice and one of vegetable Lo Mein. The rice is one big , sticky clump and the Lo Main has precious few vegetables. Then I had to add my own soy sauce and Hoisin sauce to give it any taste at all. Wont be going back.

Havent been there for a few months. Was disappointed by the meal. Worse than I ever remembered. After nibbling a few bites, I threw my dish out and nibbled on the kids dish. Also poorly made. No longer a good value for the money. Moving onto a different Chinese restaurant. Caveat Emptor.

While nothing pretty to look at, Hunan Wok is some of the best Chinese food Ive found in the area. Their portions are generous and prices are fair. Great food, always made to order, unlike some other restaurants. The employees are friendly and swift. I highly recommend Hunan Wok.

Food was below average chinese the lady behind the counter shouts at my because I asked her how much for the food then procceds to snatch my money out of my hand and then screams at the guy behind me asking if he can pay with a card... do not recommend coming here..

I love the Hunan Wok - my favorite is Shrimp Lo Mein. My kids love the chicken nuggets. we all love the Wonton soup. it is the best! ask for the cream cheese wontons, they are yummy! They have alot of steamed food & vegies too!

My family has been getting food from here for years, we wont go anywhere else! They are very very nice, loyal to their customers, very hard working and not to mention the food is SO GOOD!! I highly reccomend them to everyone. :)

Love this place . Great food, good service. Compare to the other takeout restaurant, they using a big marinate machine to do all the meats without hands touching. So it is clean and health.
