Im only giving one star under protest. You cannot review without giving a star. They deserve none! When they first opened we were very pleased with the food. About a year after being open the food began to decline, the staff declined and we stopped going. Today my husband suggested sushi, my comment was well our choice is only Good Wok. He said its been so long lets give them a shot. No sooner do I call to place the order I say Im sorry I dont have the menu in front of me can you please tell me whats in a Baltimore roll. She kindly asked someone and they responded . I said ok what about a philly roll? She asked the same person and this time her reply was oh god tell that lady to get a menu and bring it home this isnt my job. I promptly said cancel my order I will go somewhere else. Honestly as a person who doesnt eat sushi that often I did not know what was in it. Obviously assumed cream cheese because of the name but wanted the other ingredients. The website gives no information to the contents of its rolls. I believe in being a loyal customer when treated appropriately. This is horrible customer service and truthfully I dont care if the food is steller, they will NEVER have my business and I will be sure to tell my friends and family who go there about my experience !

Just ordered and I decided to stay in When I order anything and spend my money I want happy servers and happy service. This is no the place for those that want the atmosphere. I lived in China and never were the people rude.iguess its NY Suffolk county attitudes. Also when I came into the place I wasnt sure if I should go in the side door where the workers were getting some air or the main door. Very dumoy and the servers speak in Chinese in feont if you like you dont understand. Too bad I understand. Very bad business!

I have been using Good Wok for several years. Their food and sushi is normally very good. Last night I ordered General Tsos which is listed as spicy. It was so sweet my teeth shook. When I called to let them know I was treated with such adversity it was ridiculous. I was told no one else complained. I said obviously you gave me the wrong sauce. They said no, the chef was "pretty sure" he made it right. What happened to customer service? I was more upset about the attitude of the manager than I was of the awful dish.

So we usually eat at Kiren in Rocky Point, but tonight we were near this place. We ordered Veggie Dumplings, Alaska Roll, Shrimp Tempura Roll and Sesame Chicken. The dumplings and Alaska roll were ok. The tempura was over cooked, greasy, and a regret. The Sesame chicken, if thats what you call it, was thrown out. It was gross! It was like they cleaned out the bottom of the fryer, threw it in some gross yellow sauce, and added rice. I pray I dont get sick tonight from what little bit I ate of the sushi!

The Good Wok in Middle Island is a combination of Chinese and Japanese cuisine. The menu offers lots of choices, and the food Ive had here has always been first-rate. Although the food is (presumably) freshly prepared when ordered, the service is very fast. Although they offer delivery, the Good Wok is NOT a dumpy "take-out" place. The atmosphere is pleasant, with several dining tables and chairs, nice decor and relaxing soft music.

Since their expansion and introduction of Japanese food this has become my familys go to restaurant in the area. Their Udon dishes are a welcome addition to the typical Lo Mein or Mei Fun dishes found in Chinese restaurants. The service can be slow at times, especially around dinner, but its worth the wait.

Watch out for the delivery man! He likes to round up the bill! Had it out with him tonight and reported him to the owner......Good food but their Broccoli is NEVER fresh. You have to ask them to make sure that you get fresh broccoli & even then its a shot in the dark. STOP GIVING US OLD BROCCOLI!!!!

Got sick twice after eating there food and so did my friend. They act theyre doing u a favor...asked for Bok Choy in my Wonton Soup for extra money they didnt know what it was....Have stomach meds on hand if u order from them Kitchen blocked my curtain..I can see why...probably filthy

Been to a lot of Chinese Restaurants all over the states ...for take out this one is fantastic...has spare ribs that were very freshly made ...pepper steak was fresh and tender...their attitude seems at times unfriendly (Soup Nazi on Seinfeld) but who cares if the food is great...

I ordered the sesame chicken and wonton soup. The chicken was spongy and extremely greasy. The sauce had very little flavor. Even the meat inside the wontons was greasy and had a strange taste to them. I have very low standards, so trust me for me to complain it has to be bad.

I go here primarily for there sushi. The selection is vast and delicious. It can get a bit pricey if you are ordering a la carte. The lunch specials are a great value though. The menu listed online is limited compared to if you read the menu in house.

Good Wok has the best Chinese food and Sushi in the area. It can get a little expensive, but its always fresh and tasty, and the service is always great. No crab rangoons, though, but they do have something called a fried cheese wanton, which is close.

I love the sushi here. They have a great selection and the food is always very fresh. The menu is a little on the pricey side but you def get what you pay for. They are sometimes a bit slow on the preparation, so try to call ahead for takeout.

Everytime i give them an extra chance they fail. Always gives way more rice than meat lol.. Spend 9-10 dollars on 85% pork fried rice each time lmfao.. People on here saying this is the best place around.. Obviously you guys dont get out much.

Ive lived in middle island all my life and even though a few other Chinese food places have come in, I still find myself coming here. A recent overhaul has brought a clean sit down restaurant with good sushi. Highly recommend.

This place is by far the best Chinese food in this area! Over all it might be some of the best food I have ever had. Always fresh and hot. Even the Sushi is great!

This is our third time here. We have had sushi and chinese food. Both were yummy. Prices are fair and customer service is good.
