My wife and I decided to try them out this evening and Im very happy we did. I ordered the Chicken Tika Masala which was nice and creamy and paired perfectly with the Garlic Naan bread that we had ordered. My wife ordered the Chicken Vindaloo which she really enjoyed. The staff insider are very friendly, the food is delicious, and I hope they do really well in this location. If you are in the area, I would definitely stop by - they also appear to offer a lunch buffet which I will need to try out some time.

we are from Arabian Gulf and we have lots of 5 stars Indian restaurants over there, this is one of the most competitive restaurant I ever eat in. Food is very delicious, quantity of food vs. price is very much acceptable, price is reasonable, staff are friendly especially the old man named Ibrahim. location of restaurant is nice and quite for couples. suitable for groups. After we eat our lunch we went to the Ice Cream store one block next too it. good luck to you all :)

Wow, this is the best Indian food Ive eaten in Connecticut, maybe anywhere. This restaurant has amazing food, with a great depth of flavor, and includes both popular dishes like Tikka Masala, but also more unusual and likely more authentic ones. The service is also really great, they are courteous and friendly, and even gave us some free rice pudding :) highly recommended!

passing through and picked the place out at random- amazing choice!! staff was friendly and courteous, and the food was phenomenal!! we got the chicken tikka marsala, the shrimp tikka marsala, and the chicken tandoori, all of which was amazing, very well seasoned. it wasnt super fast, but we had time to kill, so it was okay. over all, a wonderful experience.

Superior food and great buffet always fresh ingredients. They deliver to surrounding areas which is nice too. Attentive and friendly staff. This is my go to place for Indian cuisine, best in the area imo. Ive ordered the Chicken Tikka Masala, Chicken Vindaloo, the chef special Thali which consists of many small dishes of assorted goodies. Never disappointed.

I heard about this restaurant through a recommendation from a friend. The food is fantastic. My favorite is the duck because the sauce it comes with is so flavorful I could swim in it. The staff there are always so friendly. If you are waiting for your food, they usually let you try different samples of their food. I highly recommend this restaurant.

My wife I frequent a popular Indian restaurant in West Hartford. We decided to try another place based on the Google reviews. Everybody review we read on Himalaya was spot on. The food was excellent,prices were reasonable . Service was very good also. Small quiet place . We will definitely return. I think we found a new spot for Indian cuisine.

One of the worst restaurants I ever visited. Have no words to describe the discontent I had there. Ordered - gobi manchurian and it had excess of masala and very less gobi; onion kulcha had very little onion pieces; we ordered 5 dishes and not even one of the dishes tasted good!! I was deceived by the reviews posted for the restaurant

I have been to most Indian places in CT. Lots of good ones, some not so good. This one is great. The food is excellent, very flavorful, and never over cooked. Fast turn around and Ive had most of the menu. I go back several times a month. Highly recommend.
