This place is TERRIBLE. The waitresses have obviously never waited on people before because they were nowhere to be found the entire time we were in the restaurant. There were literally three other tables in our section that had people eating, so it was NOT busy enough to be excused for the terrible service. We had to wait 15 minutes for a table when the restaurant was EMPTY. We had to wait 15 more minutes to have some random lady ask if we were being helped and when we said "No", she went to go find someone to help us instead of helping us herself. When she couldnt find our server she took our orders, it was then another 15 minutes to just get our DRINKS, then another 5-10 minutes for them to bring me milk for the coffee, then another 5 minutes to bring half and half(there was NONE on the table). When the food finally came they messed up 4 out of the 6 orders, When told we asked for cheese fries instead of an apology we got a response like this "well we gotta melt the cheese on there, Im gonna have to bring it all the way back", UM OK? NO, Ive waited about 90 minutes just to get my food finally and now that youve messed up you are not going to apologize but also discourage yourself from fixing the mistake? Terrible, I can go on and on, but I already said enough in my opinion. People who work here are just plain STUPID and have to find jobs they are good at or something because this is NOT their specialty at all

If I would be able to rate it below a one star, I would. I used to be the person who never really payed attention to reviews, but after this experience, I realized I should have. 1. The service is horrible. They are just incompetent. There is no expression or emotion on their faces. I know its IHOP, but it doesnt matter. You are working for a living. You are the employee who needs to meet a customers needs. 2. The amount of time you have to wait for food is outrageous. This goes back to customer service (a.k.a. number one ^). I asked my waiter for a bottle of ketchup and he never gave it to me. I had to ask another waiter for ketchup and they finally (after 10 more minutes on top of 10 minutes waiting for the other waiter to bring me ketchup) gave me a ketchup bottle. 3. The food finally arrived and it wasnt even cooked right. It was too burnt. My burger wasnt even cooked the way I had asked. The food was just below mediocre. I had to wait at least 5 or 6 minutes for my group (of four) to be seated. I, as well as others that will review or have reviewed this place, am urging you to not eat at this place. No matter if you have been traveling and want to stop for a bite, or youre either looking for a place to eat out, dont eat at this IHOP. Please take these reviews seriously. Service was a joke...Im very surprised they are still in business with this type of service. The 15 min wait wasnt too bad, but once we took our seats thats when it started. The waitress took our orders (only 3 of us) then mentioned she would be back with water that never showed up. I ordered sausage with my order that never showed up with the food. The food was ok the hash-browns were nasty. She never came back to check on us except when it appeared she was taking care of her familia next to us, who got the excellent, respectful and prompt service (yes Im going there), then turn her head back to say is everything ok 20 min into our meal. I even ask for water she forgot she passes by 10 min later to say, awe water water then went to get it. We were almost choking by this time. We looked at each other in total disbelief. Ive lived in yonkers most of my life and eat out often but seriously the worst experience I ever had. Guess it is a sign of the times... To add insult to injury she expected a TIP! Never again Im done with this ihop. The ihop on boston rd in pelham is better. Oh I almost forgot she tried to charge me for the sausage. Made her take it off the bill.

The short answer is disappointed the details are such that the service was mediocre the waitress with leaves extended periods of time without checking on us and restaurant was nearly empty at 7:30 Sunday morning as we were leaving we noticed that the line had become long when we arrived there was no one in front of us my wife said to me why is everyone still waiting with all these tables and two because the service people are walking around talking to one another leaning against the walls shooting the breeze rather than taking care of the customers the menu so expensive is not what I remembered it to be I asked for omelette with yellow American cheese and receive some cottage cheese sauce no potatoes come with them the cold when is the manager to be the man as he was walking by he gradually brought me a second cup of coffee the service was tolerable at best the food was mediocre and I thought it was very expensive we normally eat at 7 Brothers on Saw Mill River Road in Yonkers and enjoy yourselves with a side of sausage omlette spreads whenever the bill comes around 2526 but this bill was nearly $40 and

I will never go here again. A friend and I went during late breakfast hours (10am-12pm) on a weekday. The wait was about 20 minutes. It was kind of crowded. We got seated got our drinks and ordered our food. About 15 minutes later the waiter came up to to tell us their computers werent working, and she forgot our orders. Mind you, she didnt even apologize. We waited another 1 hour to get our food, which wasnt even HOT!! We were going to walk out . About 5 other tables that came in the same time as us, had already eaten and left,., but of course our table was the only one that took this long.. Our waiter wasnt even professional. She semmed way to tired to be working, and kept forgetting our orders. SO ANNOYING. NEVER EVER going there again!! When i asked to speak to a manager on the phone i was put on hold for over 45 mins. RIDICULOUS! Ill stick to the Ihop inb Hartsdale or the Bronx.. THis yonkers one is a poor excuse. AVOID

Was seated quickly only to wait 21 minutes (Yes, literally 21 minutes) before even being asked "Can I start you with something to drink?" It wasnt busy at all which is why I even put aside my reasoning for not coming here anymore after another horrible experience months ago. Was finally asked about drinks and what are we eating from a busboy because whomever our waiter/waitress was, was just too slow bringing other dishes out. After another wait of 23 minutes we finally left. Yes, this was horrible but its the same thing that happened to me twice before at this establishment so I blame myself. Horrible place. Even worse management. Hopefully it shuts down completely this year.

This is the worst IHOP Ive ever been to. Every time I come here they dont have the items on the menu. They have no bananas. They never have soup which is all my mom eats. The music is too loud. They are understaffed it takes forever to be seated and served and today they are closing early because the servers dont want to work. They allow people to talk loudly on their phones and curse. Kids run all over the place. This is the most poorly run IHOP I have even had the misfortune to come to. Every time I come I say never again. This really is the last time. Sad. Its the closest one to me.
