IHOP is over rated. Theyre expensive and the food isnt that great, certainly not what it used to be. Now they will leave your food sitting under those lights to keep it warm but for fresh cooked food our breakfast came to the table with the food not hot like it was just cooked. The regular pancakes feel like mush in your mouth and have no taste. Before the butter pecan syrup used to taste like butter pecan, today I could barely taste the difference from regular syrup. When the host welcomed us and wanted us to follow her to seating, there were many seats available but she decides she wants to seat the two of us at this small table right next to where the waitresses and people walk back and forth from the other room to leave or go to the bathroom or to get into the room. In other words we would have people constantly walking back and forth by us possibly even bumping into us. Thats a major faux pas on how to treat your customers. We wanted to try it again because we havent been in so long but after the treatment and food of today we remembered why we havent been back and hopefully we wont ever forget again. SMH.

Okay I cannot lie, I love this IHOP. Its in a nice peace location just across the street from Wendys and the Pelham Mall. The food is great and it is open until late. The best time to go and grab a bite and entertain a friend or family is Sunday morning just before they open, they treat you like Kings and Queens. The dining area is not to shabby, nothing outrageously visual to mention or note, but if you are looking for a peaceful breakfast of lunch and maybe a nice stroll in the mall to GNC or Fairway, IHOP got those Pancakes, Eggs, and Hot Chocolate and not to mention the various delicious syrup you have been waiting on. Enjoy, eat up and smile.

Worst ihop I have ever been to. I walked out once before because literally 35min after ordering the food it still didnt arrive...and the place was not that busy. I wish I learned my lesson, but fast forward a year later. I walk in, the hostess says the wait is 10 min, no problem. I see all the people that were there before me seated, then I watch four more sets of people come after me seated. Granted, I was alone and they were a party of two, three, and four, but courtesy is courtesy and money is money. Im waiting 15 minutes and watching new people go in is no where near acceptable...especially against two party groups. Last time, lesson learned.

The staff is pretty much very incompetent and inattentive . Literally had to ask for service , when it reality its supposed to be given . They would walk by our table and notice that we werent even served . Not even the courtesy to be given a simple glass of water . Took literally 5 minutes for a waitress to approach the table ! Lack of professionalism never mind hospitality . Makes the entire experience horrible . Its pancakes not a whole production of 3 course meal ! There was even a debate between 2 waitresses as to who should approach the table , since some of them simple refused to do so ! Its a disaster of a place !

I came here with my wife and two-year-old son after a shopping trip. The good: The food was good. Typical of IHOP. The bad: With the exception of two servers (including ours, thankfully), the front-of-house staff was really unprofessional, including the manager. They were cursing and making rude comments the entire time in both English and Spanish, and at one point, they were making fun of a customer who had just left the restaurant. Bottom line: This is not what were used to at IHOP. We wont be back to this location.

Normally I enjoy going to ihop but I cannot say the same for this location. I was sat very fast, which was great. But the service from our waiter was another story. I received a spoon with a piece of food at the tip of it, my order was brought to me in good time but it was under cooked and smelled funny. I had to ask him for multiple items that should have been on the table when we arrived. Honestly, Ive been to many ihops, but this was the only one that made me sick to my stomach.

The waitress that served me and my table mates for the evening was a much elderly woman who less fit and equipped for this fast paced food service environment. The food was ok typical ihop but due the waitress was unequipped my experience was poor and lack luster and i also received a drink i never ordered. The waitress name was ms.joan avoid her at all cost for a good dining experience.

Literally every time I order, they get it wrong. And since I know this, I speak as clearly as possible and make sure they understand what I want, they repeat it back to me, but still get it wrong... I wont give 1 star because I know my fat ass will be back there soon. Lol and thats the only issue I have.

I have a order to go and they make it so i have to go all the way to the back of the crowded store to order. This restaurant is small and they know there isnt room. I couldnt find where I had to order and no one helped.. They have terrible attitudes!

The food was good. We asked for the big orange juice and they no longer had it. Plus not many options for dessert. The waitress brought out a sundae for my son that was not on the kiddie menu which was what we wanted. Overall it was ok.

Overpriced chain restaurant, minimum $10 a plate. Went there for the cheesecake pancake special, they were all out of it. There was some piece of plastic in my wifes food, they were kind enough to remove the food from the bill.

No, no, nooo!!!! Ordered pancakes and they disappeared, mowhere to be found until Im to pay for an order that was not the way I wanted it, and then no one would ask if Im ok or if Im enjoying an order I clearly disliked!!!!!!

Service was fast. But the food taste like it was reheated. Nothing taste fresh. The manager ensured me everything was made to order but Ive eaten at different ihop chains and cooked myself. I know the difference. Never again

Food is fresh and taste good. Only downside is its tight inside. Not enough space. Crowded! Not spacious at all. Also parking is extremely limited. However the staff is very pleasant. Dont have to wait long for seating.

Love ihop! Great food, awesome prices, cannot beat it. We took our daughter out for her birthday, they sang happy birthday & gave her ice cream. They were great. Clean bathroom, clean place all around, no wait time.

The best Ihop in the Bronx. The service and atttitude of the of all staff is rate top 20. The Manager always greets you at the door with such a pleasant atttitude. This place is like no other! Keep up the good work.
