Having grown up in the northeast, Ill admit I am a bit of a diner snob. We have some of the best diner options in the world in this area. That is why I have to say, skip this one. I was encouraged upon arriving by the classic diner look - mirrored panels, pie case, and booths. The menu is standard diner fare. The prices are not bad, but they are not very good either. They were out of the eggplant parm when I went, so I ordered a burger. Instead of fries, I asked to substitute a side salad. The waiter said no problem. Some places up-charge you a buck or two for this, but after the bill came, we saw that we were charged $7 for the side green salad that consisted of romaine lettuce, two baby tomatoes, and one slice each of a cucumber and red onion. We tried to correct it, but apparently that is their policy. I wasnt pleased at the lack of communication when ordering, or the way it was handled. We also ordered a Reuben. The pastrami was sliced too thin and was very dry. The coleslaw (which is only included as a side upon request) was soupy, limp, and bland. We waited a pretty long time between ordering and getting the food (about a good half hour) considering it was a diner and it was pretty empty. I rarely give negative reviews, but I take the noble tradition of the diner seriously, and they do not here, so I wont be going back to this place.

The place is good, but needs work. The waitress had very little patience for us. She wanted to rush us with ordering (the place was empty). We ordered first for my son. We did it right away because he was hungry. She immediately wanted to take our drink order, but I said I needed a minute. She almost bark at me. I ordered Greek salad with gyro meat. The portion was big, and the salad was good. It would have been perfect if I hadnt had to re chop the lettuce. The pieces were big, the salad was difficult to eat. The meat was delicious, but I almost cracked a tooth with the olives. Pitted olives would have been better (just a suggestion). My husband ordered lamb. He says it was just ok. The portion was on the smaller size. We ordered chicken fingers for my son. He liked it and they looked good, not frozen. We have to return our wine, a fly landed on it. We couldnt even talk without having bugs flying around us. They need to solve this. Maybe their plants are attracting bugs. Im not sure if we will comeback.

Never going back, worst experience ever. First, I know I was taking a chance going out for Fathers Day, but was surprised to be seated immediately, after that everything went down hill, took a while for our waitress to take the order (understandable), she then disappeared for 45 minutes, (other patrons that had arrived much later than us had already been served and getting ready to pay) when we inquired about her well being, she bursts out of the kitchen with our order, and of course its not right, so she decides to remove items from one of our dishes and replace them with items from the dish for the table behind us, we just watched in disbelief this happen just thinking this has to be a Seinfeld episode... I spoke with the owner about it, and I guess all of a sudden he suffered some sort of weird illness and forgot he spoke English, so he completely ignored my complaint. So no, I will not be visiting this place any time soon.

Used to go here on a regular basis, until one evening a friend invited me to go for a bite, really, a place to sit and chat. I ordered Jalapeño Poppers, on the menu the dish came with fries and cost, back then possibly $7 ish? Food served and at that moment was unsure about the fries? There was none on plate, couldnt get the waiters attention at all but ate up the poppers, dont remember much, but did check about he fries with the man at the register whom took the bill, he offered to get me fries to go, asked him to take fries off bill, as It was too late, said he cant do that, asked him why not, I have worked in the business for years and he can do it, replied that I didnt work in his restaurant for years. I was a little perturbed at his arrogance and will be a cold day in hell before Im back here. A big thumbs down

Ordered some hot wings or something that came with fries, the waiter forgot them, could not get his attention, when paying bill at register i informed the guy that fries never came and could the manager deduct price of fries from bill. He said cant do that but you can have fries to go. Told him meal was over and did not want the fries now . He said he cant do anytning about it, i said of course you can, ive worked in the business for 20 years, he said you havent worked in this restaurant for 20 years. Be warned. Sure there must be other shocking stories out there?

Will never go again, third time going and the service is terrible and the food never gets served hot or correctly. First complaint was when we ordered our food the waiter left the diner and went home and no one knew they had to bring out our food. After waiting for awhile we asked where our food was that is when we were told "SORRY" your waiter left we will get your food for you and of course when we did it was cold!! This kind of service has happened to us three times so we will never go again.

This place has gone downhill. Prices have gone up and food portions have gone down. Ordered the chicken souvlaki, you used to get rice or fries and salad plus a stuffed grapeleaf. Now you just get salad. Pita bread overdone and hard. Asked for no onions in salad and got them anyway. Husband ordered burger and it was med rare not med well. Owner gave a bit of an attitude mentioning she hadnt seen us for awhile. Unfortunately you wont see us again. This place used to be great.

My wife and I have been going here for breakfast for years and have never, ever had a problem. Maria (the owner) and her staff have always welcomed us as friends and the service was consistently outstanding. The breakfast portions are always generous and their menu selections are numerous. I cannot comment on their dinners but the gyros are quite good. By far, our favorite diner in upper Westchester.

Mediocre food and indifferent service are enhanced by the worst management attitude ever: the customer is always wrong. Very politely sent back dried-out, inedible Nova Scotia lox, infuriating the owners. Must have cost em all of $4. And for that they burned a longstanding customer relationship. Avoid these arrogant creeps.
