My girlfriend and I went to Namaste in Williamsville on a Thursday night. Around 7 30. It was very crowded. We got to choose our own table from what was left. We got menus right away. Got good recommendations for drinks. My gf got a mango lassi and I ended up drinking half of it. It was so good! I order there chai masala tea. It was very tasty. We ordered there namaste medley for an appetizer and it was outstanding! The our entrees came. When I say this was the best Indian food I ever had. I mean it had to be the #1 o ever had and I really enjoy Indian food. She ordered the chicken birayni and I order the lamb kadahi. There birayni was soo flavorful. So tasty. The kadahi sauce was also just as great. We had to come back for another dinner. Instead of an appetizer we decide on entrees and desert. This time we got there chicken curry and paneer pakora. Again just amazed on how good this food was. Desert we the rasamali, and also there kheer(rice pudding) . The stuff they put in it is just so wonderful. All around a great restaurant. I will be back many times to enjoy this wonderful cuisine. Great service too. Very friendly! I highly recommend coming here!!

It was very nice day out at Niagraa Falls NY. We came back at Hotel around 6 pm and went to this restaurant for dinner. First I checked the review online and it has good comments so decided to go for dinner. We ordered appetizer and main course together. Appetizers was good but when we about to get main course the story started. 1- First of all there were only 3 ladies working there and none of them having smile on their face. 2- They gave us plate in our hand instead of putting on table. 3- We have asked for Water.. papad.. chutney. They not even come and ask what you want or you want to order anything else. They charged for papad which suppose to come complimentry.. ( I dont care since it was only $6 but just an FYI only one time papad is free). we were 4 people but they charged 15% gratuity fees in our bill. I had to get corrected that since the rules does not apply if you not more than 7 people. So long story short dont expect good service from these people.. food quality is ok ( i will give 4/8 for food).

Me and my friends went to this restaurant with lot of expectations because it is rated 4.7*. Ambiance is good, food is tasty but service is awful. One of the elder attendant initially rushed us to order main-course along with appetizers and gave us a look when we asked for more time to order main course. We ordered Chili Naan which is made without salt at all. When we told about this to her she said OK and left without replacing it. Later, when we asked her to replace, she was furious and reminded us that "CHILI IS HOT". We had to finally ask her to taste, to convince that it does not have salt at all. Boggled by that response, I observed her rest of time. I realized that she was rude only with us. Dont know if its because we are students or because we are Indians. If these are the reasons then put a hoarding that STUDENTS AND INDIANS NOT ALLOWED. But the food is tasty so I still give it 3 stars.

First time we ate here and we are overly pleased. Saturday lunch buffet, greeted, seated, and enjoying our Indian food in no time. My husband and I kept commenting on the great food. The flavors, freshness, and varieties are amazing. Many guests of Indian Descent enjoying their cultural food, that tells you something. However the restaurant also had families, young couples, and older ones like us. We usually frequent a different Indian restaurant that used to be on Transit and is now on Main Street, but no more, this ones a keeper. Table cloths, cloth napkins, clean, clean! Btw, on the buffet, Indian Chai tea. Give this place a try, you wont be disappointed. We hope to see you there!

We heard good things about this place from some friends so we decided to check it out. Arguably the best Indian cuisine weve had in the area, and we love to frequent Indian restaurants. Staff was very nice and attentive, and the food came out piping hot very quickly. The lamb melted in your mouth and the breads were perfect. We tend to overeat when eating Indian and we certainly did that here. Well be back with friends!

I have to say that this Indian restaurant is probably the best in all of Amherst. They made us feel so welcome and the food was excellent. The ambiance is pleasant and the restaurant is clean and inviting. The menu offers a large selection of options, with plenty of vegetarian entres. The portion size was perfect. I definitely plan to make this a regular dinner spot. Cant wait to try out their daily lunch buffet!

Namaste is a cozy and warm environment to eat. The staff provides great attention to customers. One is able to request halal meat if needed and everything is clean. I am quite of meticulous regarding the state of restaurant cutlery and I have not had to worry while here. My favorite dish is the chicken makhni and as appetizers I hands down always get samosas.

We tried the namaste and the keema naan, and they were by far the best naan Ive ever had. Also ordered the tandoori chicken which was very good. But by far the standout of the meal though was the Tika masala which was absolutely wonderful. I cant stress enough that this may have been the best tika masala if not the best Indian dish Ive ever tasted.

Food is great, good choice of veg and non veg items. Place is good, neat, and service is very good and friendly. We are from Atlanta which is famous for Indian food, this restaurant is in same level as GA Indian food. Loved it, liked it.

The staff specially the owners are super friendly and welcoming. I would recommend shahi paneer and dal makhni, these are two of my favourite of all time. I usually go there once a week and the whole experience is always perfect.
