I have been waiting for 6 months to write this review, hoping that this place would go from a 3.5 to a 5 star experience. Its almost there, so I have to write the review. My mom is a very persnickety woman, especially when it comes to food. Shes an awesome cook and can tell when the food is not properly made, according to her high standards. Shes been tasting several of the dishes over the past year and now, finally, she gives her 2 thumbs up. The naan bread is scrumptious, fresh from an imported tandoor oven; the chicken tikka leg quarters are mild enough for my palette, yet tasty enough for anyone else to enjoy the authentic masala; the chick peas (chana) with slight gravy mixture is done correctly, without overdoing it (could use a bit less salt, if you ask me, but nonetheless, its quite tasty); and finally, the customer experience is stellar. When you enter an establishment and people are smiling, it makes one want to linger and possibly buy more. Thank you for an excellent experience and for improving your food so much over the past year. Im sure well be back, along with others who will want to share your awesome cooking.

First time here with family. After a morning walk, we decided to have breakfast in a halal restaurant. And YES, we have found a nice, clean, and cool place. I would say this is the best place here in Buffalo to have meal with family. (Separate family room) The manager & workers are very friendly and helpful. Food was very delicious and cheap as well. Especially the "Nehari" and "Spicy boneless chicken curry" was very good. And bread (known as NUN)? I just like to say "WOW". Highly recommend and Insha Allah will visit again!

Great food and very friendly staff with excellent customer service. We tried different chicken orders, chicken wings and lamb chops. Everything was tasty and fresh specially the wings. Both the biryani and white rice tasted delicious. The food is halal. We liked the food a lot and definitely will go back to try the other items on the menu. I really recommend it to everyone and to try to promote for them as much as we can . Not many halal places in buffalo serve tasty food like them.

I loved it. The food is amazing, the place is under construction, but they are making it very nice. The customer service is also spectacular. They are very welcoming and nice people. The prices are very reasonable and tastes so good. I have plans to come back very soon!!! I had the Gyro/Shawrma here, and it tastes just like the ones I had back home. I ate shawrmas in many places, but this one really feels like the ones from south asia.

This is my second time eating at Appletree. It will not be my last! The food here is outstanding and one of a kind for buffalo, ny. The environment is very sanitary, clean, and safe. Also the owners and staff are very hospitable and friendly. I am beyond thankful to have found this restaurant and will be a loyal patron as long as I am in buffalo. Take my word for it and go eat here...

Just a couple minutes off the 33, this is one of our favorite places to go when we dont feel like cooking dinner. The staff is extremely friendly, patient, and polite. For a first timer, I would recommend you get the chicken over rice, with veggie rice. Always keep the homemade white sauce (Im not being crass-- I dont know what else to call it) nearby.

This is a great restaurant, my family orders from them ANY time we can, Farouq gives the place character, he is friendly and funny and always suggest the most delicious new foods to try. Even when relatives come from out of town they go there for food. This has become a family tradition, company comes "Order from Appletree" Sis fajr & family

Their food taste just as good as the food i tasted back in my home country. Also, i was looking for HALAL gummy bear for so long. Finally, I found it here. And the people that work there are really friendly; one of them gave me and my friends a free chocolate to try. I loved the place, food and the behavior of the people there.

Lets just say that I wish that they were open 24/7/365! This restaurant is so darn delicious! I want to go in and order everything on the menu. Ive had the Lamb chops w/rice, Chicken Biryani and the Lamb Curry w/ rice. Every dish was great! No, its not in the middle of downtown or anything like that but dont let that deter you.

Yooooo!!!!! Lamb and fish is wonderful!!! I make the drive from Amherst for dinner at least once a week, and I eat here for lunch during the week as well. At some point, I plan to tRyan everything on the menu. Thanks to my brother Baba Eng for turning me on to some delicious Middle Eastern food. Hotep!!

Wow, amazing. I had a Nanoose for breakfast and a tandoori chicken leg fresh from the oven. This is my first time trying a Nanoose. Its a wrap with chicken and cheese served warm so the cheese is melted. They have beef too. Both dishes were fresh, delicious and spiced just right.

The food is great overall but it could do much better. It could get a bit oily so cholestorol pasients should be careful. Also I am avouding food coloring to my most. I really liked the food until the food color "upgrade". Food color is not good for excessive consumption.

Homely food! Really delicious and fresh. Must try the nihari! The chicken kafta and lamb chop were off the hook. Best part of it is the price!! The price charged for such good quality food is very reasonable!!! Theres a family seating area for privacy and a prayer area!

Theit indian food is beyond-this-world good. they catered our wedding dinner for 300 people and the customer service, food, pricing, everything was awesome. I salivate everytime I think of their tandoori chicken.
