From the other diners in the area I would say this is my new favorite. The servers were clean and friendly, the atmosphere was pretty good, and there was nothing wrong with the service. The food was fantastic. Im on a diet so on a whim I got the "lean buffalo burger with cottage cheese and peaches on a bed of lettuce," and it was fantastic. Truly great. My girlfriend got the caesar chicken wrap with fries, and that was also really good. Despite my great experience I wasnt going to write a review, but I forgot the name of the restaurant. So I searched on google maps and it brought me to this page. I was shocked to see it had received poor reviews and wanted to balance the scale. I look forward to giving them more business.

id give less stars if i could. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. i called for delivery and tried to pay with a card to which i was told is not allowed so i said okay hung up and waited. an hour later i called to see the status of my order and they had no knowledge of the order. for their mistake i asked if i could get a discount which was another no ( i would have been happy with $1 or $2 off) also i overheard the workers in the background being nasty about my call. So their menu is in the trash and me and all of my coworkers will never order from them again. Hope they are happy losing hundreds of dollars of orders because they didnt want to budget even though they made a mistake...

This place has terrible customer service, made an order on grubhub the other night I accidentally selected beef instead of bacon (honest mistake) so when my food arrived I gave them a call , first and foremost I apologized for making my error and asked could Inger bacon instead the guy angrily replied no!!! And insisted that I come get the bacon because hes not sending his delivery guy back out. So I politely asked for a refund he refused to give me my money back after I returned his food.the guy had a disgusting attitude and does not know how to speak with respect so now I have to take his store to civil court just for $25

Its a diner. Every time I have gone in to eat I get good quick service and a clean table. The food is good, not spectacular. I usually just get coffee and breakfast. Its a diner. The breakfast potatoes are not my favorite, not much flavor. Had an experience where they wouldnt split the check when we had a large party, that was very annoying. I understand it is a minor inconvenience, I understand that the credit card company charges a fee, I am a reasonable person. Just accept our money and wait for your nice tip. Dont act like asking to split the check is disrespectful and doing so is impossible.

Theres nothing better than placing an order and getting a solid meal delivered that can satisfy a man. I have quite an appetite and a complete meal, salad, bread, main course, sides, etc., and this diner has always delivered. Never to skimp, the food is good and the people who serve care that you are happy. I dont get the criticism considering you get everything with your meal that a normal person would expect. I like Classic Diner for all the right reasons.

The food was okay.. not great. Part of my meal was cooked to the point of being barely edible and one of my dining companions had food that was both severely underseasoned, burnt, and overcooked which I didnt think was possible seeing as she just ordered a sandwich and bacon. They redid the bacon for her which was nice and the server was pretty decent but I cant reasonably give a better score for food that ranged from just okay to basically inedible.

This is a typical diner. The are almost always open. The staff is friendly. There is a huge selection of food: everything from eggs and toast to full dinners. I ordered the chicken souvlaki platter. It was served with pita bread and salad.and tzatziki sauce. It was delicious. The coffee was strong and hot. The prices are moderate to expensive. I would go back and try some of their other dishes. Everything looked and smelled delicious.

I love that this place delivers late - YES! The menu is fairly varied - though probably on the lighter side for a diner. Regardless, delivery was quick - well under the estimated time. I had their souvlaki wrap, which was a hearty portion. Enough for two meals. It arrived with steak fries, slaw and a pickle. Late at night with pouring rain, it was just what I wanted to show up at my door.

I like my diners a little trashy but usually because they are cheap or good or both. This place was neither. Two eggs, sausage, toast and homefries should not cost $9. And if it does it should not be good - flavorful - substantial. This was so disappointing, the service was mediocre, and i could have gone to any number of nice restaurants in the hood and paid the same for some delicious.

For the people who hate on this place, I ask, "what do you expect?" Its a diner, open 24 hours a day, and delivers faster than any other place in the Cobble HIll/Boreum Hill area. Is it Frankies 457? NO, its a greasy diner with decent diner food and FAST service. Add in the fact that the guys who work there and deliver and super friendly....and its a no brainer for quick delivery

This is not typical Smith Street hipster eatery. It is more like what this area was like before the arrival of the hipsters. The food is great, lots of choices, good service, good price, open all the time. The ambiance is not white table cloths, but comfy old school booths. My favorite place on Smith Street. Oh, the serving size of wine is really big.

THIS place has the worst service I have experienced in years. There is no one on staff who speaks english - our delivery took 2.5 hours and every person was extremely rude. Had to call my credit card company to get a refund because we never received our food. Extremely dissatisfied with this place and its service.

Me and my wife went and my daughter and we were having brunch and there was a roach in my home fries to make matters even worse I was almost 3/4 done with them :/ management didnt even apologize or anything he just walked up to me and said I dont know what you want me to do .

This was genuinely one of the most repulsive meals Ive ever tasted. The only thing that was more vile than the food was the service. If youre considering eating here, I understand youre desperate, but I assure you that youre not desperate enough to stoop to this level.

Came for a 03:30 early morning breakfast. The restaurant was quiet at 03:30 in the morning, but I was provided with friendly and quick service. The Sausage and Eggs were good, with quality sausages (better then most diners). The Popeye Spinach Salad was massive!

They are quick and efficient when delivering an order and they are personable when dining in. Ive never had a problem. The food is always hot and exactly what I asked for and they are always open so its like the friend thats always there when you need them most.
