My roommate and I have ate at Olive Garden three times since it has opened in Las Cruces. The first two times were ok. We didnt have long to wait and the food was ok. The same could not be said for the third time. We had to wait for nearly an hour to be seated. The food was again below par. The biggest problem came when we got our bill. Usually I will just sign the paper and walk out without taking a second look. My roommate looked at the bill and asked me what happened to the other meals the bill said we had ordered. The bill had four drinks and four meals and an side item. This came to over 75 dollars. It took forever for our waitress to come back to the table. At first she seemed like she didnt want to go back over and correct it. I guess this is a new thing paying for some other persons bill. It took twenty minutes for the bill to be correct and over a month for it to be fixed on my debit card. When the waitress brought back the bill she had not taken off the extra drinks. I just paid for it and left. I was later told that this was not an uncommon event to happen there. So Kudos to Olive Garden for finally building here but this is way to small of a place for Cruces. I will have to look elsewhere to dine.

OK... Ive been to the Olive Garden many times in El Paso. I have had enjoyable experiences there. Las Cruces has been talking about the Olive Garden opeining for many years.. let me tell you what a disappointment! Food was horrible, waited 30 min to be seated. It took 45 minutes to have our order taken after being seated. Sat in a booth?? What happened to table service with white linens? 15 minutes after ordering our food the manager informed us that they were out of that dish.. Ohhhhh K. Ordered a steak..go figure cant go wrong...Wrong it had no flavor and the smell was horrible!!! The veggies it was served with were burnt, do to not being of the same size. Someone needs to train the prep cooks on how to cut veggies!!!! Complete mess. I will never return to this location. It is obvious that Las Cruces cant find good help!! As my friend put it, they are the "Dennys" of Italian.

We went yesterday for my mother in laws birthday, our waiter sucked! He took forever to ask us for our drinks , then when he dropped them off he left for a good 15 minutes and he kept talking to the bartender and this guy who was at the bar he didnt even mind going to our table and taking our order which we figured out what we wanted right away. He just seemed he did not want to be there and he wasnt happy. When our entrees came out he didnt bother asking us if we wanted more breadsticks since he had taken the basket with our appetizers without asking if we wanted more .Im a server and I keep a happy face even on my worst days. When we were done he didnt drop off the check we had to ask for everything by getting his attention from a far distance. Overall food was good but the service sucked I hope I never get that server ever again.

its a chain restaurant, so the menu is consistent and food tastes fairly good from place to place. what makes me rate this a 2-star restaurant is the ambiance and experience. i have tried this location on six separate occasions and each time there is an issue with lag between parts of the meal. Example: drinks didnt come out until the soup and salad, where normally the drinks come out first and then the soup/salad. literally 40 minutes between soup/salad and entree on the most recent visit (6/2/85). and then a 25 minute delay on the check. I spent 1 hour and 45 minutes at a moderately empty location. SMH. never again!

I placed a carry out order to be picked up at 3:50. My husband had some appointments that were running very late, so I called to let them know he would be late. He ended up being a little over an hour late to pick up the food. It was still warm and the second he got there an employee got his order and began walking out before he even called to say he was there! they were very friendly and accommodating and have been on previous car-side to go pickups.

I dont like chains or commenting about them because I relate them to the golden arches... I dont ever expect much. However this place for me has always had great service. My last visit the waiter was incredibly attentive especially considering how busy they were. The food was presented well and was really good. They were swamped that night but the food came out great in a reasonable time and the whole place seemed well managed.

Good, and standard Olive Garden fare. Good combination of kids meals and adult food. They had a sample of wine when we sat down. Declined the actual bottle because the cheap wine was overpriced, but nice touch nonetheless. We regularly buy an entree and then fill up on bread / salad and take the entree home. This is the only way the price justifies stopping at OG. Otherwise, nice filler at a sit down place ....

Usually when I go the service is amazing the food is great ...my recent visit was not the same as always. Service was very slow and the resturant wasnt busy if I may add. Also the plates we got were filthy it grossed me out. I ordered the chicken alfedo and the noodles were hard. Like I said the visit is usually great but this time it was off.

Went last night with my entire family (16) the food was amazing and one server for all of us my gosh i felt bad and usually servers arent that great but he was absolutely the best he kept up with us all made sure our glasses were never empty if your deciding to come here make sure you ask to be on the side kyle is at again thank you

I dont know where you all are. But the customer service here and wait staff are not friendly or very helpful, in requesting items needed . Like really we are a family of seven earring now , and every request we make is like inconvenience for him. Will not come here again . Today is 6-10-17 wanted a good meal and service guess not!

The service couldve been a bit faster. My guest and I waited more than 9 min. to the point where I stopped a waiter and ask for drinks... This is why I enjoy El Paso staff is well trained and always on their toes.. I still tipped my waitress good. Yeah crazy me.. but hey the meal was great waitress wasnt to bad after all...

Great food, wonderful service, and prompt care. We usually use their car side pick up and the to-go portions are on par with dine in. Today they made a minor mistake and went above and beyond to fix it. Their management is by far the best around. We will certainly continue to give our patronage to such an awesome place.
