Ive been to this location many times, but this last time was the complete worst. My fiancé and I came here at 8:00 pm on 6/6/16 for a dinner and found our selves to be 1 of three couples in the restaurant, first thought yay everything will be quick! Nope.... Took 15 mins to get my drink from the bar, my fiancé forgot her ID and was refused alcohol, that I can understand but neither one of us are near the minimum age, and he didnt tell us he wouldnt sell her a drink he just never brought her drink at all, furthermore he didnt ask her if she would like an alternative just left her completely without an option. 23 mins in and still waiting on our food, we ordered some motzerella garlic bread that came about 22 mins in and some olive oil and vinegar in a dish well at least we can fill up on starch. I looked around the deserted restaurant and noticed that there was about 5 tables in our area that were left with dishes and glasses and not even cleaned up, I was astonished because literally there was zero customers and they cant clear tables? The waiter magically appeared and asked us if we were celebrating anything, I told him no just a casual dinner, I asked him if my fiancé was not getting her drink because of her ID, he said no she didnt have a proper ID and that they have been getting a lot of undercover people And they couldnt risk anything. I replied to him saying that was fine but letting us know that would have been courteous, it had been 15 mins since my drink arrived and nothing was offered to my fiancé, he cut me off to ask her what she wanted to drink and she told him nothing lol oh well. 10 mins later our food arrived and he just put it at the edge and walked off, the chicken was over cooked and sub par but overall wasnt bad we had the chicken carbonara. About 42 mins into our meal they finally decided to clean the surrounding tables, the waiter came back around 50 mins in and asked if we wanted to box our dishes, I replied yes and for the first time since Ive been dining at Buca he took my food to the kitchen to box it, I assume to spit in it or something since I was inquiring about the drink, so much for those left overs. Finally after all was said and done we got our bill, just under $68 I had an emailed coupon that saved us a $15 off coupon I let the guy know and he asked me for the bar code. About 10 mins later he returned with my bill and it was around $49 so I got a little more off than I was supposed to so yay I got a little more off then I anticipated so I left a decent tip even though he clearly didnt have any customer service skills at all. I got home to put the left overs away and about an hour later I got a bank alert on my card and I was charged the original charge before discount. Which is funny because I didnt give him my card to charge on the original amount I gave it to him after the discount, so he charged my card for the entire amount without tip and probably pocketed the $19 difference. Needless to say if the amount doesnt correct tomorrow when they clear the batch Ill just blow it off as a very bad waiter screw up. Sadly of the 30+ times Ive been to this restaurant this was by far the worst service Ive ever had here it wont hinder my return as Ive had plenty of great services but if I am ever given this waiter again Ill walk out and return another time, I regret only that I didnt pay attention to his name, however hes a blonde younger guy in his 20s with a scruff facial hair goatee, this guy has no customer service skills at all and definitely shouldnt be in the food service industry, I assume hes just some college kid that doesnt appreciate his job at all. Hope my next service will make up for this kids inability to care about a customer.

You have to watch your bank account when you eat here. I was charged for my bill along with a completely different table back in May. When I went back and talked to the manager, Scott, in Broomfield, Colorado showing him two different charges on my account. Scott said he would look into the issue. Later that day he called and stated he found the issue and that the waiter had used my card on accident for another table when processing payments. Scott assured me that it would be corrected. Two weeks later I returned and he said corporate approved the refund for the mis-charge but it takes time to post. Another two weeks go by and I disputed the charge with my bank as I believed that Buca has no intent on making this right. My bank gladly refunded the money when I filed the dispute. Buca, who had all along said they would fixed it, then denied my banks dispute, causing the bank to reverse the credit. So after 4 months, I am out over $70 and Buca who admitted the wrong doing, has done absolutely nothing to make this right. I am now forced to file a fraud claim and force Buca to provide a signed copy of the second receipt to get my money back. To Buca, thanks for the multiple trips to your location, numerous phone calls and time getting to know my bank and dispute process better. To those who I paid for your dinner, I hope it tasted a little better finding out it was on me.

Horrible horrible horrible SERVICE. Came here for a Christmas party for 5yr olds school, party of 40+. Had about 5 waiters, one takes your order and another brings it.... so I thought you just ask any of them for service. Well when I did, I was pretty much blown off after he gave me the look like he was busy with another table. Then after several minutes of waiting we finally got bread.... several minutes after that we received salad.... then they started to clear the salad plates... Now heres the kicker I asked for more salad since it was taking FOREVER and we asked for more bread, the waiter goes and grabs half eaten salad bowls off the other tables and brings them to me, 2 to be exact, then with the bread, we are sharing a table with 2 other families so when I asked for more bread he tells me there is some at the other end of the table. I asked for my own and he gave me the " put out " look and finally went and got us more... so after all this then came the spaghetti.... the order was 1 spaghetti with meat sauce and 1 fettuccine to start per table..... these idiots bring 1 bowl for the whole table..... I got so pissed I just walked out before I made a scene and left my family there to eat! NEVER EVER GO BACK TO THIS RAT HOLE!!

We used to think Buca as a nice restaurant, but after this experience, we think worse. After we were seated, a waiter came and asked us what we would like to drink .A few minutes later, he came with our water. He asked us for orders, and asked us if we wanted any bread;and we said yes .The waiter gave us two options ,mozzarella garlic bread or plain. The way he asked us,we thought the bread was free(the mozzarella garlic) so we ordered it with our food. It was a rather nasty shock when we found out that the bread was 8 $.Roughly 8 minutes later , we inquired about our "free" bread to our waiter, only then would 1 min.later our bread come. Our main complaint is that the larger table next to us got much more attention and less time to wait. Our waiter would visit the larger table again and again while we waited. He was warm and showing enthusiasm with that table while was pretty cold with us and booth next to us. He even took the dish we are still working on without asking. His mind obviously was not on our table. The food was a bit dry but okay. In general, we are disappointed with this experience.
