I never usually have a problem with this place, but yesterday I ordered my food and the bacon was old ! It was dirty and had a fly on. It literally had dirt on it as if it was dropped on the floor and cooked either way . The waitress said she would get me a new one and since the bacon was layed on top of the food, she said they would remake the the plate Seconds later she braught it back. I can only assume the place wasnt remade. I took a look at the bacon and it had mold . Actual green spots of mold . The waitress avoided our table until it was time for the check she left it on the table, as I was going to mention the bacon she left and I didnt see her again . I had to end up paying for the bacon that I didnt even eat!!! No discount no apology or anything for that matter . As I go pay the check the lady at the register had a sour puss face on and instead of hanging me the card back she through it at me right back on the counter . Very unprofessional ! Im very disappointed

Nice enough employees, but the food was horrible. I got the fish sliders and my friend got the mac and cheese. All of the food was bland, the tartar sauce was an odd shade of green and did not taste like tartar sauce, the coleslaw was gross, and the mozzarella sticks we got as an appetizer looked extremely pale and were still frozen in the middle. They also messed up our order and didnt have ice, which would normally be fine, but adds on to everything else in this case. In short, all of the food tasted bland and like it had been frozen and then heated up. This diner received other good reviews, so Im not sure what happened. We went for lunch on a Monday so its not like they were too busy with other orders. Whatever the case, New Jersey is well known for its diners, so I would recommend skipping this one and finding another.

I recently placed a take out order of a gyro and sliders that came with fries. Upon placing my order I was told it would be ready in 20 minutes. When I got home our sandwiches and fries were all soggy. When I called to let them know of the situation I was received with attitude and being told the order sat for 30 minutes, which it didnt. I wasnt even asking for a refund or a new meal. I was just calling to tell them in the future if a meal comes out before expected they could call and let us know. They ask for our #s, why not use them? Completely dissatisfied with their customer service. I bet the food would have been better if the sandwiches werent falling apart.

Compared to other diners in the area, I prefer to come here because the experience is better. Ive eaten breakfast and late meals (11p - 1a) here. The service isnt bad; it doesnt come with an attitude, which is always welcomed. Our food came out in a timely manner, and our server checked in on us periodically. The portions are diner-sized, so I take leftovers home. This time around, we ordered pizza fries, and I like my fries to hold their shape, which is exactly what these fries did. They were crunchy, not overcooked, and certainly not limp or soggy. There was a good, even amount of pizza sauce and mozzarella, which wasnt overcooked. Those fries hit the spot.

The food is tasteless. The steak (multiple times Ive ordered) has so far been over cooked, hard or tasteless. The bread is most definitely old or hard. The chicken has an off taste and texture. I dont know what happened to this diner. It USED to be very good now it suddenly dropped in overall food quality and amount. This review is based on orders that I have done multiple times during the past 6 months for a family of 6. Dont waste your time with Park Ave diner. The breakfast has some flavor at least, but still not better than ihop for the price. $$$ /= quantity nor food quality.

Terrible. The food is mediocre but most importantly, the staff is rude and unprofessional. They messed up our phone order for the 4th or 5th time and instead of the manager taking responsibility for it and making it right with the customer, he made excuses and wrote it off as if it were not a big deal. After we called him out on his lack of quality customer service he became even more unreasonable and unprofessional, even prank calling us moments later and claiming it was an accident. Needless to say, we will never patronize this trifling restaurant again.

Ive been to many diners around New Jersey and beyond this is my favorite one, the food is great, there are always new specials to try, my recommendation is the vodka disco fries, fries with mozzarella cheese and vodka sauce, the staff are great and super friendly, the desserts are some of the best around, the Oreo cake and chocolate fudge are my favorites and my mother loves the lemon coconut cake, I live 20min from here with my fiancé but she used to live right down the road and we ordered delivery all the time, we now drive the 20min to go to this diner

I have never had a problem with the diner until today. When my mother and I went to pay our bill at the front counter, the man who was supposed to ring us up was on the phone while clicking away at the computer. We waited patiently for him to finish (3-4mins). He did not even acknowledge that we were there. When he finished, he rudely snatched the money from my mothers hand and threw her change on the counter. He has no customer service skills or common decency. This was completely disrespectful. I will never be spending my money here again.

I love the Park Ave Diner because of the friendly staff and the consistently good food. I usually find myself going here late at night with a friend and surprisingly there are quite a few people there. I always say you know a place is good when you can walk in at 2 AM and the food is just as good as 2 PM. This is one of those places. The portions are generous and the price is just as good as any diner around. This place is right around the corner from me so thats a big plus, but for me the quality of the food makes this place a cant miss!

25$ got us a gourmet burger a regular burger both with fries slaw and a pickle and a very Hardy portion of some damn good house made cheesecake topped with a lot of strawberries. Cant get any better for any less. Great staff, great first impression too as me and my fiance are from out of town and this was our first visit. Would recommend this place to anyone. Food was very good!!!

Diner with a liquor license. They are open 24 hours and they deliver! They have an awesome breakfast menu (I love all the eggs Benedict options). Something to try is their vodka disco fries- french fries with mozzarella cheese and vodka sauce. Its so good! Sometimes the service isnt the greatest, but for the most part, its a great anytime food option.

Its a decent 24hr diner in South Plainfield they serve all your traditional diner favorites.I personally like the cheeseburger its usually very tasty.The service is ok and during the day and effy during the overnight depending on how busy it is,Pricewish its a little expensive but worth it overnight due to not too many 24hr places in town
