EXCELLENT FOOD – GREAT SERVICE The good thing about the 23 Buffet is that they will make any dish you want to order – IF YOU ASK. Have ordered items and were brought to my table. If the food is dried out they will make it fresh for you. Jack, the owner, is always walking around talking to and giving customers samples of the new food items they have. They have pictures and descriptions above the food that they offer – great idea. REVIEW - Sushi – Made fresh every four hours. By far the best sushi in any buffet or restaurant in the area. The rice is perfectly cooked with the right amount of vinegar and sugar. The quality of the rice is far superior to the other buffets. I always get the shrimp tempura with the dressings on top. Most of the sushi also has condiments put on top (unlike the other buffets). The sushi chef will make any sushi dish as per your request (unlike the other buffets). 23 Buffet has quality instead of quantity. Wonton Soup – Handmade wontons daily with a generous amount of stuffing. Soup made daily with chicken, herbs and spices. Crab Rangoon – Made fresh daily with a good amount of stuffing. Other buffets have very little stuffing and mostly all pasta. Best around. Cheeseburger Sliders – Angus – Made fresh daily with the best Angus beef, montreal seasoning and onions. These are as good as, if not better than, Tiffs, 25 Burgers, Alps Diner etc. These are a customer favorite. Philly Cheese steak – Angus – Made fresh daily with the best Angus beef, onions, peppers and provolone cheese. Another customer favorite. Coconut Shrimp – These are the most flavorful and crisp shrimp I have ever had. The shrimp had a snap (cooked perfectly) with crispy breading.. Not available in other buffets – they have coconut chicken that is dry and tasteless. Fried Calamari – The calamari was soft, big and had a crispy crust. The owner told me they use very expensive calamari unlike the other buffets. Baked Salmon – One of the best. The Salmon is from Norway and they filet it fresh every day. Much better than the other buffets. Stuffed Crabs – Absolutely great. Great ingredients. You can taste the combination of spices and ingredients. Best of all the buffets. Meatloaf – Made with Angus beef. It is a family recipe that is made fresh every day. The sauce is also made in house and has great flavor. Oysters – Freshly shucked for the customers. Tastes clean with a hint of the sea. Unlike the fishy smelling oysters at the other buffets. Ribs – They are tender and juicy. The sauce is also very good. When you bite into the ribs they have a bit of a chew (Which is a sign of a perfectly cooked rib). Better than Tiff’s ! Spinach with Cheese topping – Made fresh daily with quality spinach. You can really taste the spinach in this dish. My brother in law, a vegetarian, said this is one of the best he’s had. Quesadillas Chicken & Shrimp – Freshly made by John, the chef. The combination of spices, onions, pepper & provolone make this a go to dish. Tomato, Mozzarella and Basil at the Salad Bar- The mozzarella is made fresh daily at this buffet. It is creamy and as good as any fresh mozzarella out there. Tiramisu Dessert – This is made fresh daily and is my wife’s favorite. One of the best she has had. Brunch / Breakfast items – Scrambled eggs, scrambled egg whites, omelet with spinach, waffles, french toast, turkey sausage, turkey bacon, ham etc. These are made to order, if you want. Additional excellent tasting items – Fish filet with shrimp, spring rolls, shrimp bisque soup, baked calamari, dumplings, egg rolls, clams, beef meatballs, CONCLUSION – 23 Buffet is by far the best buffet in the area. Is it perfect? – NO – But they will make it perfect IF YOU ASK. If you want to pay less and get dried out, tasteless and possibly dangerous food go to the other buffets. If you want great food at a reasonable price 23 Buffet is the way to go

Wish I could leave negative stars!!! Went in for lunch on Sunday at about 2:30. First of all the tall lady at the cashier felt like a prison officer instead of a greeter at a restaurant. She said if I waited 10 minutes it will be dinner and pay the dinner price. I told her I was there for lunch so she got snippy about it and said when the dinner items come out do not touch them (just like that she said it with a very serious attitude). I shrugged it off and we proceeded to be seated and my family proceeded to go pick up items at the buffet. We all felt we were being investigated by both her and the staff as we came and went to the table and buffet. Then my 76 year old mother made the mistake of getting a crab leg . All hell broke loose!!! The waitress came running to the table and said that is a dinner item and I told her she simply made a mistake and did not know. Then the lady from the cashier (who already had it in for us since she couldnt get the dinner price in the first place out of us) came running over and said you need to pay the difference for dinner (keep in mind we were all eating dessert while my mom made the mistake). I tried to explain to her that she simply made a mistake, and as they can see we were all practically finished. She said "NO, NO" she is eating dinner item. So my mom simply handed her the plate with the crab leg on it. We were all basically humiliated at this point and simply wanted to leave. All in all a simply horrible experience. Very unprofessional , rude attitude, and very manipulative business practices. The food is not exactly worth taking all of that from them. I think eventually many people are going to get this same impression about them.

Food has always been good. Ive been going for years but recently took a break from it. Went last night for dinner and service was TERRIBLE!!! It took the waitress so long to pick up our dirty plates. After dinner we asked for green tea and she didnt understand. what asian person doesnt know what green tea is? She probably didntt speak a word of english anyway the other waitress understood and brought it along with 1 cup. we asked for 2 more and they were DISCUSTINGLY DIRTY. LIPSTICK STAINS, COFFEE, JUST GROSS!! It was so discusting that we left them their green tea and dirty cups. Wont be going back. When the owners wife was there it was perfect. They need to bring her back

Came here a family of 5 adults and two kids, we were extremely pleased with the food, even though they didnt have things out as others advertised, but what ever was not out there, all you had to do was ask, and quite frankly its better that way, the food is actully fresher this way. The hibachi was to die for, so good, the short ribs and the sirloin steak was fresh and well cooked and tasty. Loved the sliders oh and the crab legs was a descent size as well as the lobster and shrimp. The owners hospitality was amazing, overall our meal was pleasant, will definitely come back if were in the area. Thank you 23 Buffet.

I see you wrote me back. We came in on a Sunday between four and five in the afternoon. No you didnt have ham or lobster or roast beef or duck. I tell you one thing you did have was hamburger sliders. They were o.k.. But we were charged about 50 dollars to eat there that day. Fifty bucks for sliders? For two? I know you cant have everything you advertise so don"t advertise it, We went there expecting a lot more than we got. As far as i am concerned neither of us were happy with your very limited menu. No i wont go back and get robbed again. Now i see why you charge first when you walk in.
