This is the best Sushi/Sashimi Buffet around. I have been a customer for years., Ping and David are very friendly and family oriented. My family and I love Koki Buffet. The Sushi prepares are very clean and friendly as well. Its so good that my sister , Honeybunch, who lives in PA makes a trip once a month to visit Koki Buffet. This is such a wonderful place , I would give this place 10 stars if I could. I have gotten many family and friends to join us at Koki and now they are regulars!!. , My boss enjoyed it so much that this year he has scheduled our annual Christmas Party there..I am so excited!!!.... I cant say enough about this wonderful restaurant, Thank you Ping and David for a wonderful Sushi/Sashimi Restaurant in Union County, actually the State of New Jersey!!.. Your satisfied customer, Dana and Family and Friends...

Came on recommendation of a friend after they had a good experience half a year ago. Mediocrity sums up my experience. I knew immediately it was bad sign that on a friday night at 8 pm, less than 1/5 of the tables were occupied. After being sat-down the waitress slammed the utensils down and responded in aggressive tone when my friend asked for club soda (she snapped back "seltzer water only"). Customer service= f. A few of the staple chinese dishes were dry (been sitting under heat for some time) and heavily laced with sugar, with a utter lack of nuance in other flavors. The floors were slippery and evident of spilt sauce or some other type of liquified mass. I didnt even want the sushi at that point and wanted to get the heck out of there after barely two plates. Never again.

As with any buffet your dining experience will depend on your personal taste and preference. That being said I was happily surprised with the sushi and sashimi selection, which actually had fish and other tasty ingredients. Ive been to many Chinese and Asian buffet style kitchens and this is worth the extra buck. Some review complain about bad service, I would disagree. The service in minimal but optimized, its a self-service (no ordering food) buffet and the service reflects that. I rather like that the help does not hover around my table stressing me out. Thats just my personal preference

My family and I have become frequent visitors, as this is a good buffet restaurant. They have a nice fountain right in the entrance of the restaurant (great for the kids). Its a lovely and calm place. The sushi choices are tasty and seem fresh. Salad bar is ok (the only green salad is the Cesar dressed salad). They also have Mango salad, seaweed salad, pasta salad... The self serve ice cream selection is good (they have green tea ice cream, chocolate, strawberry, chocolate chip, vanilla and what I believe was cherry ice cream). The craw fish is good. Nice place.

Been here many times. There is a varied selection including all kinds of sushi and sashimi options. Numerous beef, chicken, soup, and vegetarian dishes. There are also great salads and desserts. If you are hungry, run over there; its a great deal. Their rice dishes however are under cooked. Service, really just bringing drinks since its buffet style, has been spotty at times. The staff is not friendly, but who cares? Overall it is clean with darn good food for a decent price. Im a regular, and have never gotten sick from their food. See you there!

This place is one of the go-to spot for lunch. You can not go wrong for $13 on AYCE with tip. A few items I enjoy besides the sushi is the walnut shrimp, seaweed salad, clams in black bean sauce, crayfish, and the miso soup with seaweed. The quality of ingredient on many of the dishes here is a lot better than many of the Chinese buffets Ive been to. My coworker and I enjoy coming when the price is right is on. Thats the time before the lunch crowd comes in. Credit card accepted here

I give it five star for the value for fresh seafood and sushi! $10 for lunch and <20 for dinner?! will be my new favorite rest. in this area I was definitely impressed by the quality and variety of food. FYI-prices are slightly cheaper from Mon-Thurs. The variety of sushi and sashimi was quite impressive. Even the cooked food selection was pretty extensive. Definitely a great place for large groups as theres definitely something for everyone~!

Overpriced, terribly rude wait staff, and VERY mediocre cood. Even for a buffet. While dining with family we were rushed out the door because a large party was coming in... Even though we were the only diners in there at the time. I wouldnt recommend this establishment to anyone. You could go and have a nice steak, or Chinese takeout for a better price. Cant stress enough to find another place to go if you really want Chinese buffet.

Have been going here for a while now and I really think the quality of the food is going down hill. They dont serve all the food they did previously. Also, staff who waits you doesnt always understand what you are ordering so they need to get a manager which is frustrating at times. My family wont be going back again. We had a good few visits and officially are done after out last visit.

Lunch is cheap with sushi thats way better than what youd expect. Im not saying its like eating a plate at Jiros, but considering its around $13, the sushi is damn fine. Everything else (hot food) is sub par. Ive seen a lot of reviews that knock this place because of their hot food, but you dont come here for the lo mein, alright? Its a Japanese buffet. Eat the Japanese food.

nice atmosphere, great price, clean, fresh foods, lots of variety, not your typical Chinese buffet, great variety of sushi and plenty of choices for all. Overall rating based on quality, cleanliness, taste, variety, atmosphere, and with a price of 10.00 for lunch and 16 for dinner, you just cant give it anything less than 5 stars

Good Sushi and a raw bar. Nice and balanced ceviche. Mango salad is out of the world. Miso and udon soup are ok. Nothing extraordinary but then, you cant except much out of them anyways especially at a med-priced buffet. They also have a variety of traditional Asian fare as well as pan American fare to satisfy regular Americans.

Excellent and fresh entrees. The sashimi and sushi were incredible. For a buffet restaurant it ranks as one of my favorites. To get better you would have to go very high end and five times more expensive!!! Even then would be hard to do better. They have me as a patron and a fan!!! 2 Thumbs Up!!!

The guys at the sushi section do not give you sashimi buffet like is advertised. They act like its a chore & give you very little salmon sashimi when asked for more. This has happened to myself and several friends. Its is a buffet but they are dishonest about sashimi buffet.

DOWNHILL! Cheaper quality, no one smiles except when they give you the check for their tip, of course! Not enough dishes and the sushi quality has gone way down and there is not enough variety! Oh well, thats what you get for $9.95, so I shouldnt expext anything better! :)
