On Jan 2017 I visited the Starbucks on Fellowship Road and Route 73 in Mt Laurel, NJ. I had my 4 month old, dog, and mother in the car with me. I visited this Starbucks because they have a drive through which makes it much easier with a baby and dog in the car. I ordered a hot grande nonfat cinnamon dulce latte with no whip. This is the same drink I have been ordering for years. I waited in line for about 8 minutes before I even got to the window to get my drink. Granted, they did seem very busy..When I got to the window the young man said, "Here is your skinny cinnamon dulce latte." I replied, "Oh Im sorry but I didnt order it skinny. I ordered it nonfat." He responded by saying they are the same thing. I explained to him that skinny uses the sugar free syrup and I wanted the regular syrup because the artificial sweeteners give me migraines. He continued by saying, "We dont make the lattes like that here." I explained to him that made no sense because Ive been ordering it that way for years and I wasnt understanding why they couldnt make a latte with regular syrup and nonfat milk. When I got to the window the young man said, "Here is your skinny cinnamon dulce latte." I replied, "Oh Im sorry but I didnt order it skinny. I ordered it nonfat." He continued by saying, "We dont make the lattes like that here." I explained to him that made no sense because Ive been ordering it that way for years and I wasnt understanding why they couldnt make a latte with regular syrup and nonfat milk.I asked him if he could please remake my drink. He grabbed the drink out of my hands, slammed the drive through window, and I watched him dump the contents of my drink out and remake a new drink in the same cup. Im sure that any small residue left in the cup probably wouldnt give me a headache however that isnt good business practice. He opened the window and said, "here!" I nicely thanked him for making me a new drink and explained that you shouldnt remake a drink in the same cup because my cousin is allergic to artificial sweeteners and has an anaphylactic reaction to them. Therefore, you never know and should err on the side of caution. He rolled his eyes, sarcastically said, "have a nice day," and slammed the drive through window. As I pulled away it seemed like the latte felt very light so I opened the lid to see that the cup was less than half full with latte and then filled to the top with whipped cream (which I didnt order). At this point I was extremely annoyed because the service was terrible, his attitude was appalling, and clearly he purposely made my drink like that.I had to pull into a parking space and go inside. Luckily my mom was with me because my baby and dog were with me. When I went inside I asked to speak with a manager and I was told a manager was not available to speak to me. At this point the young man that provided me with horrible service saw me and ran into the back to hide. Unbelievable coward! I explained my situation and that I wanted a refund. I was told I couldnt have a refund and that they could only remake my drink. I explained that was unacceptable and the girl behind the counter stated only a manager could refund me and the manager was not available. She remade my drink and handed it to me by saying, "Here." Talk to the employees involved. Provide better training for your employees including diversity/multicultural training. Invite me in to make me a new drink to demonstrate your store can give good service. They did none of the above. The manager admitted the employee lied and made up the Hispanic name and there was no one by that name that worked there. She then tried to lie and say there are many Hispanic employees that worked there. I called her out on it and stated that I have been in there enough to see zero Hispanic employees working there to which she had no response.

We were just a couple of road-weary travelers making our way up the eastern seaboard - maybe not all that different from you. My friend wanted a snack, and I needed to pee. To be honest, we werent expecting much. As I browsed, eyes glazed from hours of staring at open road, Ashley sent a warm smile my way. And offering some gentle encouragement, she asked "Having trouble making up your mind? You look a little confused :)." As soon as I ordered my ham, Swiss and egg sandwich and double espresso, I knew things were different here. Much to my chagrin, I had left my debit card in the car. A thousand scenarios ran through my mind, there was no way to know how she might react. All I knew was that I had screwed up and I had screwed up bad. However, Ashley quickly stepped in, gently easing me back into reality from this descent into my own fears and worries. "I can hold your order while you run out and get it, would that work?" A few minutes later, I swiped my card. She immediately handed over my toasty sandwich and fresh espresso - instant service. It didnt end there. As we prepped for our next stretch of road, I thought Id push my luck and ask if she would refill my water bottle. When I walked up to the counter, her smile told me everything. "Of course I can fill it up! Here, you can keep the top." She ended her sentence with a cheerful uptick. Her friendly eagerness was contagious, and I soon myself sporting the same smile she had impressed me with just 5 or 10 minutes earlier. I met her over at the service counter where she returned my water bottle full to the brim (but not too full, obviously). We walked back to our car renewed and refreshed. This drive was going to be a piece of cake now. Thank you Starbucks and thank you Ashley.

Cripplingly slow service both via drive thru and inside. Either the employees are very disorganized or they are simply understaffed, when theres someone making a drink in the middle of taking your order on the register. The inside is an absolute pigsty, with trash and crumbs all over the tables, and the trash can is overflowing. This is the only Starbucks location where Ive had to wait over ten to twenty minutes INSIDE before for a simple drink and sandwich, and then didnt even want to sit anywhere because many of the tables were full of crumbs and used napkins. Later on, I made an online order, and they were out of it. Manager luckily refunded, wasnt apologetic whatsoever and was on the phone during the refund. Just disappointing.

Normally I have an awesome experience here, but today I ordered online for pick up, asked for an iced chestnut praline latte with nonfat, extra shot and thats it (with whip). I received what seems like a cinnamon dolce latte no whip. Biggest problem is that I cannot stand cinnamon dolce and (my bad) I didnt taste it until I left the store so nothing I can really do about it. I will go again b/c as I said normally they do a great job...but it felt like they just put whatever they wanted into this latte (which is not a cheap drink) and handed it over without even ensuring it was what was ordered.
