I like to go out to breakfast both weekend days with my wife so i try all the places in the area to see which are the best. One morning, we went to the Middletown Pancake House. For the most part, everything was excellent. I liked the atmosphere and that they have the sugar in a pourable container not packets. Prices were good and most of the food that me and my wife had was good. However, the thing that failed and caused me to not return is that the pancakes are tasteless. I find it strange that a place called the Pancake House has worthless pancakes but that was how I felt about them.

Never again will i step foot onto this place after ordering our food and sitting there for an hour the owner came over she said i will find out whats going on she never came back an hr and 20 min later got up and just left never got our food all we ordered was breakfast people came in after us got there food and the owner just didnt care would give them -5 stars but google wont let me and they werent even that busy on mothers day great job stay away from this place they dont care

This is a decent pancake house, nothing to complain about. Service is a bit slow but nothing too bad. I will say that I am skeptical of the HUGE menu they have. Were talking pages upon pages of soup, panini, sandwhiches, waffles, sandwhiches, hamburgers, etc. With that much stuff to cook Im not hopeful that everything they serve is fresh.

I love this place. My family and I have been coming to this restaurant for 16 years, Food is excellent,great variety. Service is exceptional,they have always treated us like friends. I strongly recommend the Pancake House to anyone who is looking for great food.

Aside from the service being just a little bit slow and being out of the thing I really wanted on the menu, the pancakes were very good, soft and fluffy with a good flavor, almost like vanilla.

My favorite place for breakfast. BEST blueberry pancakes I have ever had. The coffee is delicious! Every waitress is so pleasant and goes out of their way to make sure you are happy.
