On June 2nd, 2009 my family and I visited the Four Seasons diner. On the breakfast menu there is an item listed as a "BENNY", an INSULTING term used by Jersey natives to DISCRIMINATE against New Yorkers. As a born and raised New Yorker, I found this to be VERY OFFENSIVE and PREDJUDICE. Especially for a business located in a shore community that depends on the business brought in to the area by folks (New Yorkers) that own weekend/summer homes here and tourists vacationing at the shore. I spoke to one of the Managers upon leaving the establishment expressing my disappointment in the mindset of the management to place such an insulting term on the menu. He did not seem to feel it was a big deal. I then informed him the we would NEVER PATRONIZE THE ESTABLISMENT AGAIN! They may survive the summer due to the tourists, but lets see how they fare the winter with the Toms River Snooties who don’t spend a dime, on anything except keeping up with the Jones. And by the way, those Jones are former New Yorkers. LOL

Decor, staff and cleanliness is great. Ive been here a few times, but assure you I will not be going back. Have tried a wide variety of there items, and was not pleased with %95 of them. Grilled chicken Alfredo, the chicken was clearly boiled, broccoli was hard, overall dish was bland. Breakfast home fries, French fries and onion rings tasted like they were old and sitting out for awhile. Coffee was cold. Macaroni and cheese was served to us in under 5minutes, like it was refrigeratored for a few days and thrown in a microwave and tasted like pasty cheese (not creamy) ! Have tried there Paninis and was not a huge fan, the only things Ive had that were remote ly decent is there French onion soup and spaghetti and meatballs. I kept coming back with hopes that they would live up to all the ranting and raving I hear, but I will not be giving them anymore chances . Sorry. Sincerely , a woman who loves food and eats EVERYTHING!

Great range of foods. I have only eaten lunch and dinner so I have not had the breakfast items. We got a Margarita pizza, Meatloaf dinner, Chicken Bruschetta wrap and Sole Franchaise. Everyone loved their meals and that says a lot being able to cook a broad range of foods, from pizza, to meatloaf, to sole franchaise. Typically I wont order stuff like Chicken Parm or Italian from a diner but this place is an exception. As for J.s complaint about Benny on the menu. Get over yourself. All Bennys like yourself think you own the place when you come down here and quite honestly you dont. Maybe if you BENNYs had an ounce of respect for the Jersey shore you wouldnt be called out. Im actually happy that you will never patronize this esatblishment again because I wont have to see or hear another arrogant, loud, obnoxious Benny when Im trying to have a quiet dinner.

My girlfriend and i decided to try out the new four seasons diner. She ordered a hamburger with waffle fries and i ordered a pulled pork panini with sweet potato fries. The place is very nice inside and the wait staff is really nice as well. The problem we had was the 45 minute wait for our food to be ready. The excuse given was that they just opened. my meal was great the sweet potato fries were the best i have had anywhere. The panini was very tasty as well. i asked the waitress for a refill on my sweetened iced tea and she brought back unsweetened. my girlfriends hamburger was cooked by a 12 year old i think who didnt know how to form a hamburger as it was falling apart on the bun and burnt. so 45 minute wait for food then burnt falling apart hamburger. definately not the best diner around.

Great local place. Wonderful service. The food they serve is above quality for its type. They have a brick oven and everything seems to be made fresh on location from scratch. Im pretty sure its a family-run business and they do a great job. Always love visiting here as a treat for the family. Only complaint I really would have is that they could offer more healthy meat and dairy free options. Last time I was there I asked about the ingredients and they were extremely helpful. They bent over backwards to get me a delicious wonderful fresh meal with no meat and no Dairy. So if you arent happy with the menu options feel free to ask the server. They seem very willing to accommodate their diners.

Went to Four Seasons for dinner Monday. I ordered a chefs salad. There was a dead bug in the salad (wings still attached). The waitress was very nice and apologized several times. She asked if I wanted anything else. I did not. She also said I would not be charged for the salad. Well, thats a given. If I didnt like the meal and complained, most places would not charge. But I found a dead bug, with wings, in my meal. Of course, Im not paying for the meal. The manager NEVER EVER bothered to come over to speak to us. And we were charged for my husbands sandwich and iced tea. Very poor customer service. We will never return.

My husband and I went for breakfast last week and it was fair. Since the diners in the area of Toms River are lacking, we were hoping this would be a star, but unfortunately it fell short on the breakfast end. The bagel my husband ordered with his breakfast arrived burnt and the homefries were tasteless. We waited quite a long time for the breakfast and there were complaints of numerous things all around us. There is also not enough parking to accommodate patrons. We had to park behind the dumpster and tried not to block anyone in. Lets hope they step things up and well chalk this up to a "new opening".

I live right down the street from Four Seasons Diner so Ive been there quite a few times. My wife and I eat out every night as she never cooks so Ive been to a lot of diners and various eateries. I rank Four Seasons as the best diner in Toms River. It is very good, the girls there are very nice, and it is very clean. I think Toni Fredrickson has an ulterior motive for his/her review. I do take out from there as well. Burgers, sandwiches, breakfast food, etc., all good. They have very good soups. They did have crappy fries for a while but there back to the good ones now. Anyway, its good and I like it.

The menu is massive. I understand the wanting of customers to have variety of choice, however, in doing so it limits the ability to provide ALL fresh food, which is why some recipes tastes and textures are less than satisfactory. Condensing the menu to those items which are excellent would provide a bright future for this restaurant as the negative reviews for the half-assed mediocre items may hurt their reputation. As I feel with all restaurant owners, it us a good idea to Watch shows like Kitchen Nightmares just to learn from the mistakes if others.

One of the better diners in the area. Feels more like a restaurant than a diner. The menu isnt a 40 page, spiral-bound, laminated monstrosity. They interior isnt lined in chrome with mirrors everywhere. Its a cozy and warm atmosphere. The wait staff could be a little more attentive, but the food has always been good every time weve been there or ordered out. The Crystal Diner is less than 1/4 mile from my house, but its well worth the trek out to Fischer Blvd to visit or pick up from the Four Seasons.
